My mom and dad spilt up when i was 6. Mom took me to Tennessee and dad stayed in Morth Carolina. Only seen my dad 4 times after the split before he died when i eas 13. I wasnt Christian then so i a brutul time with it. The only peace i have found is Jesus Christ. 🙏
I have been through hell in life, but I know that I am born again through the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross. While Satan will tempt me to look back, I know that Jesus will help me move forward and life so that I can fulfill what I am destined to do through his perfect plan.
I was so confused for the last few weeks, I accepted Christ more than 3 years ago, but tried to commit suicide about 2 weeks ago. I know very stupid, but God me a chance again, and last night I saw how much God loves me! Never give up!
I'm so happy for you that you saw how much God loves you and that He's given you another chance. God is full of mercy and forgiveness and is never ready to give up on anyone that believes in Him. :) I tend to get depressed from time to time and have some bad thoughts, but I try to remember how much God loves me. Whenever you feel down or upset with yourself just remember that's your opinion, but God deemed you valuable enough to send Jesus to die for you. Your life is more important than listening to your emotions.

I lost my job in Christian radio about five years ago and I stopped listening to Christian music completely for a long time. Today I really felt the need to get my life back on track, get away from the negativity in my life, and feed myself what I knew God would want for me - great teaching and music. No saints. No rosary. No candle lighting. No pilgrimages to Rome and the Vatican. Our father gave us the power and authority as leaders of our home to do more than you can ever think. My complete love-affair with our lord and savior was consummated on April 2006 by baptism and removed the blinders I had all these years. I am not knocking Catholics, most of my family is still practicing and I pray for them, I talk with them, and know they dont have a relationship by what they tell me, so I pray that they will come to know Him as I do, so they can have joy and peace, what I was missing also. But since being born again, I have a relationship with Him, that is just amazing! I feel he truly is my Father, the dad I had always needed. I want that for them. Such freedom in His presence! Being a preacher is all I have to offer in life. I became a devoted (Proper) Christian two years ago when I got confirmed and received my first ever holy communion. I got confirmed at Clonard Monastery (Belfast, N Ireland), when I received the body and blood of Christ, I literally could feel his holy spirit, and with it I cried with joy. I am proud to be a Christian, yes I am a Catholic, however I am the only one within my entire family, who are Protestants (Church of Ireland). To which this is where Jesus wanted me to be and I am proud, so I preach daily about Jesus and his works, Including the Old testament to shed light on the New. I have shared holy communion with my fellow Christian brothers and sisters (Idc what the catholic church says about it) Update: I am now an Orthodox Christian :) God Bless guys :)

My wife and I went to Ensenada Mexico on a YWAM mission trip. We built the exact same house that is being built in this video. When Michael handed the keys to the family I was overcome with emotion. I remember that moment so well. If you can go on a mission trip. Do it! It is a life changing event.

Plenty of Christians ridicule and insult non Christians. Don't act like all of you are innocent and kind-hearted. I grew up around Christians (I went to Christian school up until seventh grade) so I know for a fact a lot of Christians are very rude and hateful to nonbelievers (I hate that word, just because you're not religious doesn't mean you're not a "believer"). And not all non Christians are hateful to Christians. Only people who are just generally assholes are.

Being a preacher is all I have to offer in life. I became a devoted (Proper) Christian two years ago when I got confirmed and received my first ever holy communion. I got confirmed at Clonard Monastery (Belfast, N Ireland), when I received the body and blood of Christ, I literally could feel his holy spirit, and with it I cried with joy. I am proud to be a Christian, yes I am a Catholic, however I am the only one within my entire family, who are Protestants (Church of Ireland). To which this is where Jesus wanted me to be and I am proud, so I preach daily about Jesus and his works, Including the Old testament to shed light on the New. I have shared holy communion with my fellow Christian brothers and sisters (Idc what the catholic church says about it)

Plenty of Christians ridicule and insult non Christians. Don't act like all of you are innocent and kind-hearted. I grew up around Christians (I went to Christian school up until seventh grade) so I know for a fact a lot of Christians are very rude and hateful to nonbelievers (I hate that word, just because you're not religious doesn't mean you're not a "believer"). And not all non Christians are hateful to Christians. Only people who are just generally assholes are.

It is so important that we be strong enough to take criticism and persecution so that we can hate the sin but love the sinner, that's hard to do if we are offended by them because that leads to us feeling the need to defend ourselves or our faith.... like Spurgeon said: "Defend the Bible? JESUS is very specific on what we must do to be saved - JESUS' plan of salvation starts with ACTS 2:38 - repentance, baptism in JESUS name, receiving the HOLY GHOST - with JESUS' salvation you can be delivered, changed, saved - without it you're lost and going to hell. make sure your "born again" experience is Biblical.
