I know this vid is from 3 years ago but I came across it after literally today at work I was thinking about how much I missed Telluride from my trip last year. Love the vids. Always watching and listening for studying and homework.
i've gone hiking on a few Colorado 14er's with my brothers. Such a great time and so beautiful. The mountains are always calling me. Thanks for all of your great videos.
Seeing this in my hospital bed after a pineal tumor surgery. Thanks for this video, Craig and Kurtis. I really won't take life for granted anymore when I am back up and healthy. Greetings from Indonesia.
As a now-wheelchair user and used to be an avid hiker. I want to thank you for this and your content. It brings tears of joy of getting to witness these places in a similar personal level as you do. And even though I can't get there. You give people with disabilities an opportunity to witness things that are beyond. Thank you.
Posting these in the mornings right before I woke up is awesome. I wake up and watch half asleep on my bedroom TV. Such an amazing expirience. Keep going!
This place is special. I solo hiked Uncompahgre 2 years ago and didn't see one person on the trail. I sumitted by sunrise and raced a few marmots back down to my car. Best 15 miles of my life.... so far.
I was looking for the right word... 'buffering dance', love it; reminds me of those platform games when the character goes idle, kinda like Sonic tapping his foot back in the day....
Hey Kraig, I know you're probably not reading this but I gotta say that these videos are amazing. Everytime I feel stressed I watch one of these and I feel so calm. It feels almost like meditation to watch these. Keep up the good work
lol your brother is hilarious, love it! it's wonderful that you will have these hiking bonding memories together. it's nice to do solo hikes, but having memories together like this you will treasure when you look back and you're older (i'm old so trust me). Life is fleeting
That marmot walked right up to you, haha! Happy to have silent films of my birth state- most people constantly talk over everything. Thank you for letting the beauty of the state speak for itself. Looking forward to your next one!
You know you’re addicted when you cycle through all the watched videos. You provide something wonderful on TH-cam. I savour each video. Appreciate the effort. It’s brilliant
Just realized I know your brother! I used to work with him at the hospital in Oregon! He’s always so serious at work LOL Anyways, love your videos (especially the Tour du Mont Blanc one)!!
Awsome Kraig. My Dad used to live outside of Ridgway, and I have climbed Mt. Sneffles and hiked by Courthouse Peak. His place looked right up at Sneffles with a 2 million dollar view. Thanks!
2. No envy, it will be the same with father. Or with son. Depends. And I know what I am talking about.:) Of course at first it needs special bonds and same mentality with son/wather. And comparable physical condition. Doable...
Thanks for this Kraig. After years of running, hiking, long distance walking, now struggling with herniated disc, bunch of injuries and chronic pain in everything below lower back, your videos fill my heart with joy and sorrow, because I can't do this anymore, having that kinda of connection with nature, but I'm able to visit all these places through your lens, thank you.
adding these trails to the list. cant wait to hike more and see the world again when all this passes. yall are so funny together, def brights up my day
My son and I love backpacking and enjoy watching your videos. Our Boy Scout troop hiked the Ruby Crest trail here in Nevada a couple of years ago. The Ruby Crest is an unexpected treasure in the middle of the desert that I think you would enjoy. We hiked from Harrison Pass to Trails End; about 40 miles or so. Amazing scenery, some wildlife (mountain goats and bighorn sheep), and NO BEARS! We believe it is a hike you would enjoy just as much as we did and would make a great backdrop for the one of your videos.
I’m experiencing some part of my dream vicariously through Kraig, he continued living it through out this pandemic. Be safe in your adventure and thank you for your every video.
Man I love this. As a watcher from the older days before hiking videos, loved the touches of the playful dynamic that carried through. These videos are awesome to watch.
Your videos are very inspiring. In the last 15 years, ive lost both my parents and both silblings (My brother passed away in May 2020). As you can imagine, im stuck in a mindset of what to do with myself. Watching these videos, have made me want to pursue rambling/camping and hiking again. It was my fave past time once and it was when i was at peace the most. Im 39 from the UK, not old yet. Thank you making these ✌
Currently training to backpack in the Grand Canyon and your videos motivate me to push through the bad days when my body is tired and motivation is hard to come by. Thanks for the uploads!
This is the only channel I have "JOINED". I want you to keep doing what you do and being who you are. I would love to share a hike with you one day, I know that is never going to happen, but still. Thank you for your videos, they are just what I need.
You always have the same piano piece in your discussion bit at the end and it has always driven me mad how I recognise the music. And out of nowhere, not even thinking about it, I realised the same piano was in the moon exhibition at the natural history museum in London where I used to work.
You don't know Adam how far your inspiration is reaching.I'm from Pakistan and I tried hiking and filming it back in late 2019 just after getting inspired from you and that day I realised even more how much effort is required to make such videos❤More power to you n keep going champ😍
Even after watching all of the beautiful and incredible places you’ve hiked, it’s our home the United States that the most beautiful landscapes. And it’s seeing it from your camera and your talent that has reminded me just how fortunate we are. For that I thank you ❤️
The drone sequences starting at 9:39, combined with the excellent choice of music is as good as it gets. Amazing drone composition. Some of your best work so far.
I live in Colorado and have done many pack packing trips like this. Picked up a drone late last year and wow, it’s great to capture a different perspective. Good work. Great stuff. Keep it up.
I love your current style of backpacking videos but I also missed the silliness of your older videos. The bit at the end with your brother was marvelous
dude u have no idea how i freaking love your videos, i work and live in the middle of the desert, today's weather is 50deg c, but once m watching ur videos i just travel with you, its inspiring me and giving me hope that one day i ll visit such beautiful nature. thanks for the good work and keep it up, best of luck
I just recently watched a couple of your old videos and it was curious to see how you developed your own style as a filmmaker. It feels like you are taking us on a hike. Which - as a mountaineer myself, who is too often stuck behind a desk - I deeply appreciate.
You're doing so great videos. I start to being videographer because of you. And now, after 6 years, it is my general money source. Thank you so much, Kraig!! Sorry for my bad English))

We need to get you an outfitted outdoor wheelchair, brother! My son is disabled and I know how hard it is to get places.

Two Kraigs? I'm confused.
Kraig and Craig

Wonderful - and the various handheld shots sprinkled throughout made me smile (two people lend to more options in production)
I’m 2 mins in and can already tell this is one of my favs. The extra person gives it a refreshing vibe and totally different feel. Nice work man

Love the incredible San Juan’s’… and the shenanigans! Makes me appreciate our Colorado even more.
The San Juan’s are by far my favorite part of Colorado. So beautiful there
I'm from CO, and I might be a little bias, but I sincerely think Colorado is the most beautiful place on Earth
Always great man! These videos really show the true spirit of backpacking. I need to get a 14er under my belt.

Another breathtaking video! Excellent soundtrack choices. I can watch this over and over...
What I envy while watching this video:
1. Beautiful place and scenery
2. The fact that I have no brother to go with
find a good friend to go with that you think of as a brother, or a friend that will become a brother because of the trip.
2. No envy, it will be the same with father. Or with son. Depends. And I know what I am talking about.:) Of course at first it needs special bonds and same mentality with son/wather. And comparable physical condition. Doable...
Same feeling bro, I wish I had a brother or at least a friend that liked hiking
