You can make chick fil a at home, super-easily. That unique flavor you noticed is just 2 common ingredients. First, use peanut oil to fry in. And add powdered sugar to your flour mix. About... 90% flour, 10% powdered sugar.
Thats the unique flavor. Caramelization of the breading while it fries, giving it a deep, rich flavor, and making it nice and crispy.
Just adjust any fried recipe in that way, and you've got chick fil a. I'm fond of chick fil a fried shrimp.
If you want near 100% chick fil a, then marinate your chicken in pickle juice for 30 minutes prior to breading. And chick fil a breading seasoning is simple. Salt, pepper, a bit of garlic powder.
But, really, all you need is the flour/sugar and peanut oil. Thats enough to give any recipe the chick fil a flavor.

True story. Couple years ago, sweltering hot summer night outside Atlanta, my son and I stop off at a Chik just before closing. Forget exactly what we'd been doing but he was starving. Get the usual to go and as we are walking back to the car a manager (you could tell by his tie) is wrangling the garbage cans for probably the last time of the night. As we walk past he stops, stands bolt upright and says, "Thanks for coming out tonite guys, really appreciate it." And goes back to wrangling garbage. That's why they crush it.
HOT TIP: if you like a certain sauce you can usually get them in bottles at the grocery store to take home!
We bagged that one. It's already been opened and it's in thr fridge. We have only been back a few weeks as well!!
I always have the chic-fil-a sauce in my fridge! It goes on fries, burgers, chicken, pork…it’s great.

The workers at Chick-Fil-A are a cut above any other fast restaurant in the USA. Polite and Courteous.
Culver's too. Same kind of feel in their customer service. They are genuinely happy to talk to and serve you.

My theory is that the reason they have time to be so friendly is because the restaurant is usually well staffed. Any time I've been, it feels like there's 20 people behind the counter and in drive thru. Most fast food places you have one person who's hectic and trying to do 2-3 jobs at once. How the staff is treated definitely affects how the customer is treated!
@@WolfLove89 Culver's started in Wisconsin so most of their places are in the midwest but they've been slowly expanding south too and have a handful of locations in TN, GA, AL, the Carolinas, and a bunch in FL.
As a chick-fil-A employee, I can say that the lady who took your order did a wonderful job. I often hear other team members just hitting the basics with the order taking, but she did the extra mile service, clarifying everything and reading back the order!

Chick-Fil-A has some of the highest standards of any fast food chain here in the U.S. when it comes to customer service. The founder (God rest his soul) demanded his employees treat their customers with the utmost respect, And that has been their standard ever since its conception. Including the phrase "My pleasure"
I thought that a woman from Georgia started Chick-Fil-A. A friend from Georgia told me that years ago. I should have known that he probably heard that and took it as Gospel Truth.. I'm the stupid one for believing him.

Chick-Fil-A has managed to foster a culture among their employees across the nation. No matter which location you go to in any state, you get the same top notch level of courtesy, politeness, and high standard of service from every single worker on staff! That's not easy to do.
I once saw the local training facility Chick-fil-A has that new employees go to for training on how to do their jobs and how to interact with customers.
No "on the job training" where you might mess up an order with real customers.
I found that to be a very professional and high class approach to ensuring that the new employees will be ready for their first shift. Not just throwing them into the lake, hoping they can swim like some other fast food places do.
It’s the training. We get paid training and we have hours and hours. Plus our managers supported us when we wanted to go above and beyond for a customer- believe it or not, often owners & managers of restaurants tell servers NOT to give customers what they want, DONT always try to make them happy cuz it’ll cut into the bottom line.

I think baby H is ready to eat.. She is so cute. And she is a big girl now. Trust me, they grow up to damn fast. my two girls are out of college and working. It seems like a few months ago, that they were your little ones size and age. Cherish her, she is a doll-baby! I do not know why, but the fries in the milkshake is heavenly. And GOD bless you ALL.

Chick fil A sauce was invented in my hometown. Our franchise owner had a chick fil a in our local mall in the 80’s and the JC Penny’s next door ordered a tray of nuggets during inventory and he made a batch of the sauce in a pinch. Through the late 80’s and 90’s her would make big batches of it to put out, but people started taking cups of it home with them. Eventually he was able to sell the sauce to Chick fil A in the late 90’s and it has made its way to every restaurant and even to stores since then. So I’m definitely partial to that sauce!

Chick fil a sauce is BBQ sauce and honey mustard mixed together. Was making it myself years before they came out with it. I made mine with 2 BBQ, 1 honey mustard and half a packet of ketchup. If you read the bottle it's ingredients says BBQ sauce. Use to make it in the chick fil a in Tawas Michigan.
Back then I would tell people who would stop off at my table to try it that they could adjust it however they wanted if you want more tang use more honey mustard if you want it sweeter add more BBQ.
Chick fil A is awesome. honestly, when COVID first started they got their outdoor service streamlined so quick that there was a meme that if they put Chick-fil-a in charge of COVID testing and vaccinations the whole country would be done by lunchtime

That lemonade is made from 100% real squeezed lemons I use to work there for 4 years.
They are top level fast food. Like you said the staff is so nice and respectful and helpful, the food is really good quality. My go to is the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with pepperjack cheese during the day and at breakfast the chicken on a buttermilk biscuit. I usually only drink water but if I got a drink it would be a Jack Palmer - half lemonade and half unsweetened iced tea. Cuts the sugar down and is awesome

I grew up near the original chick filet. The original sandwich hasn't changed since the 70's.
"My Pleasure". A Chick-Fil-A classic. I have used this in lieu of "you're welcome" for many, many years, long before I ever knew Chick-Fil-A trained their employees to say it. I worked in the hospitality business for several years and my boss liked it so much, he made all of my co-workers use it instead of "No problem". Everyone was mad at me for that. lol
I think it sounds better to. I was once told thst by saying "no problem" or similar, if can imply there was a problem. I still say it though. Mrs H 💕

I'm a bit surprised Mrs. H did not get the spicy chicken sandwich. To me, their spicy chicken is spicy. I love their frosted lemonade and their frosted coffee. Their deluxe sandwiches actually taste a bit different than their regular chicken sandwiches, at least to me they taste pretty different. I always get their mac & cheese and chicken soup as well. I almost always dip my fries in milkshakes or even sundaes too, like at McDonald's.

The chick-fil-a business model is incredible. She even asked if you wanted ice in the lemonade… she knew that ice isn’t popular in the UK. At least that’s the stereotype.
It’s great chicken. Their salads are good too. I do like they’re always closed on Sundays for their employees. I don’t really like the owners beliefs but they treat their employees really well and it shows in their service.
And the best sauce is the honey BBQ sauce you get in the little packets.
Anytime I just want a quick salad I hit Chick-fil-a. Every other place it looks like the salad has been beaten to death.
My cfa aaks about ice too. Because so many people want light ice or none. Getting none is a trap. Your mouth will be raw before you finish it. Need that light ice to water it down just a bit.
Chick-Fil-A started in my hometown, Hapeville, GA as The Dwarf Grill in 1946. The location is still in operation, remodeled and updated for sure. In high school we called it simply "The Dwarf". If you're ever in GA you HAVE to visit them and get a Hot Brown with Sweet Tea and a slice of home-made Lemon Meringue Pie. Chick-Fil-A makes THE best sweet tea!

Their frosted lemonades (with ice cream mixed in) are really tasty.

Their employees are exemplary and their level of customer service is something that I had to display at the restaurant I worked at during my high school years 68-71. I pretty much give them my business most of the time now, the only time I ever hit any of the other places as if I'm really jonesing for a burger.

Chick-fil-A has really great food and their service is so friendly it's on the verge of cultish. They actually have a number of rules like if you say thank you, they are required to say, "My pleasure" in response because it's been deemed friendlier than "You're welcome." Really. I like their grilled chicken even more than the fried.
You can buy the sauce by the bottle at the restaurant or a grocery store. Chick-fil-A sauce is the best but I love Canes also. You should try a frosted lemonade also!
Chik filA is the boss of fast food. The employees are the epitome of customer service. They are awesome.
You can make Chick FIL A at home. Just marinate some chicken breasts in dill pickle juice over night. Then bread them in seasoned flour and fry them until crispy in peanut oil. Use toasted buttered hamburger buns, and add dill pickles. Walmart sells Chick FIL A sauce. Enjoy. Tip: If the breasts are to thick slice them thinner before going into the pickle juice. Enjoy. 🤤👍

Chick-fil-A is so good. As you so well captured it, “this food makes me happy.” I’ve lived in places that have Chick-fil-A and in places that don’t, it’s always been an absolute treat.
Hack: put any of the salad or wrap dressings on the chicken sandwich. So good, especially the avocado ranch one!
Honey roasted BBQ sauce is a favorite of mine! They are known for their friendly service. Glad you all enjoyed it!

YES. Despite the fact in only comes in packets (or at least it did last I got it) and I have to ask for like 6-8 lmao. I'd sit there with one hand on a packet and the other on my fries. IMO their best sauce, even though as someone already said, its not advertised.

Sweet and salty just works!! And Chick-Fil-A is known for it's customer service. They teach, encourage and promote it with their employees. Vastly different from most other fast food chains here in the States.
I used to work at Chic Fil A and everything is made fresh except the fries which are frozen. I rather eat at Chic-Fil-A than at any McDonald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s restaurants. 😊

The only reason I go to Chik Fil A is for the nuggets and fries, no sauce. Perfect for if you are driving. Any “first timers” should always start with a huge box of nuggets, because you can’t have just one nugget!
H's I actually worked at Chick-fil-A while in college and I loved it (mostly). I think the bbq sauce is the best but I'm kinda old school. Also y'all should have tried more of their menu, specifically the club sandwich.

I wish you had been told before hand, but when it comes to sauces here in the states you can basically ask for one of everything and no one will bat an eye.
I like the chikfila sauce, but their honey roasted bbq is my favorite. Great video as usual!!

But once a prospective franchiser is fully vetted, they become a part of the Chik-Fil-A family, and I mean, FAMILY! We love Chik-Fil-A, and we're so grateful to the late Mr. S. Truett Cathy for the joy he has brought to us, and for his conviction to be closed on Sundays so Chik-Fil-A employees can enjoy a day of rest and time with their families. God rest the soul of Mr. Cathy, I'm certain He has.

If you ever want to make chick fil a sauce, it's just made out of 3 ingredients: Honey mustard, bbq sauce, and ranch.

I usually get the tea. I haven't tried their lemonade yet. That Chick-fil-A sauce is the bomb on those waffle fries. It's my favorite sauce. I live in Kentucky and it's so weird that I remember Chick-fil-A being in the malls since the 1980s. It was kind of neat then but nobody really thought that much of it unless they were in the mall. Fast forward a few decades and they start building stand alone stores and the business took off like crazy! We've had these stand alones for several years now and they are still every bit as busy as they were when they first opened. It's amazing! What's really amazing is how thorough they are as well as polite in getting the crowds through. In all my years of going to fast food places I have never had a wrong order at Chick-fil-A, Culver's either for that matter, I don't know how they do it. Every other place has gotten things wrong several times over. Your comments about the staff matches the same experiences I've had at every Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. They hire the best.
