Looks nice, and serves a purpose. But doing it with family is the biggest part here. The memories created while doing so, and you’ll have those every day to look at when you walk out back. Also love the table.
You did a great job, looks amazing! My favorite part was you and your dad working together. I love to see parents and their children, no matter how old, doing stuff together.
I need this but 15ft tall lol. My next door neighbors moved in 2yrs ago and have been harassing the whole neighborhood ever since but they have a deck that's 4ft off the ground and so they tower over into my yard. They stand outside hands on hips and watch me garden etc, truly creepiest of the creeps lol.
@@kendean4278 the problem is they're already 4 to 5ft off the ground, they don't sell privacy poles that height. It's the same problem I'm having right now. I just have lawn, so nowhere to install a wall.
I was going to say something about the whole plumb/level technicality. Then I realized I’m the same way and it drives me crazy too and can be confusing when people don’t use the correct terminology.
I put up a privacy fence. My nosy neighbor took offense. She walks over and has the gall to ask "what the problem is,has she offended us". I explained it was to only give privacy etc, well, not good enough for her. She is a total voyeur I found, peeking out the window at everyone constantly. "Good fences make good neighbors".
I love that idea it looks beautiful but can you stack the boards where you do not see your neighbor's at all? I used to leave my back door open so my dog can go in and out of my fenced in driveway but my creepy neighbor has recently put a door with a window from floor to ceiling looking directly into my Open Door I have a nice awning over my door and now I have to have a curtain on the awning so he's not peering into my laundry room and kitchen and living room he does totally give me the creeps..
Not this exact system but they have very similar fencing options. Just depends on what your local building code allows. Just contact your local building department for regulations. 👍
I use accordion faux leaf walls w/ tall shepherds hooks w/ black zipties. The hooks have double hooks. Easier to connect. I double them up. Great privacy wall between porches. The hooks go up to 96”, but I keep them at 6-7’. I also used a super strong fishing line to hook to porch posts so the wind wouldn’t make them lean. We gotta do what we gotta do! 😂

How did you make the deck?
Can this style use for a regular privacy fence instead of a deck fence ?
Brilliant
I would love to get these for my house

Awesome job, where can I purchase dad?

Looks pretty! Seems like staining before installing would have allowed you to cover both the fronts and backs
Nice! Bet Dad LOVED helping! ♥️
It's not fully private because there are gaps between the planks.
I was thinking that as well but everyone here is either oblivious to that or is overlooking it intentionally, except you. Kudos to you.

In addition to the privacy panel, get a security camera that they can see. Let them feel they are being watched as well.
i hate my neighbors also.
So lovely!
Wish my neighbors would put this on their raised deck!
Isn't the point of a raised deck to enjoy the view?
Maybe you should offer to help them install one?
😂😂
Pay for it on your own property

Really beautiful. It might also be cool to turn it into a mural.
They look awesome!!! Good job and even more awesome because you did it with your dad!!!💯 Cherish those moments, they are worthy.😁
Yes. Very nice. Clean looking. Simple lines.
where did you get the table and benches from ??
Looks great! Have you considered adding a pergola? I think that would be a good addition!
Looks good. Nylon shims are best for exterior applications, but it's not a big deal. Also, you made the posts plumb, not level
I was going to say something about the whole plumb/level technicality. Then I realized I’m the same way and it drives me crazy too and can be confusing when people don’t use the correct terminology.
Beautiful. Where can i buy the posts?
Amazon, Furniture websites , Home Depot , Fencing stores maybe some great google searches for them
Beautiful
Looks good. Nice color and nice that there are gaps for the wind.
looks sweet. nice job
Beautiful!
Lovely❤
Gorgeous!
Where can you purchase the posts ?
HOFT
96 in. Black Aluminum In-Ground Fence Line Post and Hardware - Kit C8
Home Depot
I love the table!!! That is a beautiful deck!!!
They look really nice 😍
Love this where do you get the system
Absolutely beautiful ❤
I'm always looking for ideas for my decking, this is lovely
Came out really nice. Great job!
Bet your neighbours are also happy. I love 3d projects like that fun to do and massive improvements
that’s nice. something to think about around the pool.
Love it!!
Good job. It looks very nice
Absolutely love the picnic table. Very nice on both.
Good job 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Wow shes so talented
Spectacular! Love it!❤
You actually have some skills girl. looks good
Some? She has lots of skills.
It's really nice 👍👍😊
I hope that those shims are treated, or cedar. If not, they will rot quickly and you will be left with a wobbly privacy fence.
then you com back and stuff a composite one in. not that hard or end of the world. some people just wanna gripe for no reason
Nice! Can "Dad" come help me?!
Absolutely gorgeous!
❤❤❤❤❤love it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing loved it

Wow looks fantastic
Beautiful.
Nice work
Really pretty
Looks amazing
You are my inspiration 🎉
Beautiful great job
Wow that’s pretty, amazing cool 👍
I wish I had the know how and strength and help to do this stuff
Nice Job! By chance, do you have information for the steel frames you used for the picnic table and benches, I like the set. Thanks.
Thats prettty cool! where did you find the framing for that metal dining bench?
Its good but there's gaps so they could still see threw it but good
Beautiful 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 High fences make good neighbours lol
Cool

You can easily see everything through the slots
It’s cool😮
looks good! I would have used plastic shims in fear of wooden ones rotting over time.
It’s pretreated wood so it will last maybe longer than plastic
@@LadyRawkuzOneno way, plastics last hundreds of years
It looks nice
Easy job
Just to have an idea how much cost a project like this?
Yes 😊 🛠 fence
Gorgeous!! I don’t know you and I’m so proud of you!
I see alot of theses on decks...do you not use garden fences in the usa?
Wow…. You made it! So beautiful❤ liked
❤ it privacy is the 1 priority neighbors can be very, very nosy.
Damn looks badass good job!!!
Can this privacy fence system be used for the perimeter of a home? I love the horizontal fence look versus the "traditional" fencing.
Not this exact system but they have very similar fencing options. Just depends on what your local building code allows. Just contact your local building department for regulations. 👍
Good thing dad was there

En México donde se consigue ese sistema?
So stoked
Any blocking in the deck framing to hold the wall up?
Wow! What is the wood cutting machine??
How would this system do against 60 mph wind gusts?
Not sure what the "tons of questions" would be, its just a bit of fencing...😂
What did you spray that with if you don't mind me asking?
Where did you get the table or did you make it?
I love that look
This is fire ..
I have existing deck railing. Can you put these on top of that?
