    We were there in January. One day after getting back to the states my girlfriend was so sick she thought she was dying. I took her to the hospital . The did a bunch of tests and couldn’t find what was wrong . She had been bitten a lot by mosquitos . Three months later her hair is falling out and we couldn’t find a reason until now after watching your video. What a blessing you are and have been for the past six months. Thank you for your video.

    We have lived in PDC for almost 4 years now. There is no 'load shedding' here. There are blackouts sometimes when they're doing work or when an accident happens, etc. They don't always notify you but sometimes they do. We have had less blackouts as of this year. It also depends on what area of the city you are in. Centro has the most outages, West of the highway also. We are North of the city so we don't get many outages at all. We have only had one this year, they notified us, it was less than an hour.

    • @ForTheRoadTravels
      @ForTheRoadTravels  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely. There are a few blackouts and as you mentioned most of them happen in centro. CFE is pretty good at informing about them where there are programmed. Thanks for watching and commenting 🫶🙏🏼

    I love seeing you out on your own. I travelled all over Mexico solo and I think it’s such a good thing so help you work on your Spanish. Also, I have to say please don’t be embarrassed of your lovely home. It’s such a beautiful special place and it’s so humble. Honestly I’ve had homes that are too big and I keep getting smaller and smaller
    Homes because they are just so much easier to manage and clean and I don’t feel like I need BIG are Luxery. I would absolutely LOVE to have your home. Great solo video and I’m happy you’re healthy again.

    Obviously this video is wonderful. But remember, you can't go over there without having some money in the bank to make it ok. Dont go and think you will be ok, just with your verbal skills, it takes more than that. Also, she makes it look so peaceful, when really it is very controlled. She may not see it, but you have to be careful over there. Hope they are doing Great.

    How do you like living there? I'm thinking of moving to playa myself.

    • @ForTheRoadTravels
      @ForTheRoadTravels  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hey William 😊😊 If you're looking for a slower-paced lifestyle, Playa is awesome for that. There are also a ton of amazing dining options, local and international - which is awesome. They're also opening up more and more stores that stock 'foreign' food, like salt & vinegar chips etc. - which you won't find as easily in other parts of Mexico.
      There's also a huge immigrant population (US, Canada etc.), so you'll be able to make friends without having to learn Spanish. However, I've struggled making friends here because most foreigners seem to only be here for a period or seasonally. If you're planting yourself here permanently, learning Spanish is a must to make local friends who do live here permanently.
      It's a big change, especially if you're coming from a developed country. But if you're adaptable and love the idea of living in eternal Summer - I'd say go for it 🙏🫶🇲🇽

      @ForTheRoadTravels yeah, I would love to be friends with you guys. That's the hardest thing living away from friends and family. Making connections and having a community would take away that feeling of isolation. I also hope to find a nice lady to connect with.
