It’s possible to stealthily go clear nests or fabricators with all your short cooldown eagle strikes, and stay out of combat. If you’re spotted, run and disengage, until you loose them. That’s a LOT of cool-downs dependant on the same “re-arm” timer. Made worse in that your horde clear or anti-heavy AE used up they am wont start to replenish unless you send the eagle back manually. Still, I can’t deny the volume of “BOOM” available in a short period of time.
The BIG BOOM fun loadout: Stratagems: 1. 500kg bomb 2. Walking barrage 3. 380mm orbital barrage 4. 120mm orbital barrage Weapons: 1. Eruptor 2. Senator 3. Impact grenade
Fun fact the ballistic shield makes you invisible. They'll still hear you and the rocket and mini gun guys will try to suppress the last place you fired from. Pair it with fortified heavy armor, the punisher stun SMG (personally set to burst with no light for extra stealth at night), grenade pistol for destroying bot fabricators right next to enemies (only explosion makes noise), and stun nades and a laser cannon for majority of long range heavy removal and stunning and lasering hulks. I've even stunned and ran under a factory strider with the laser.
Heres a good one. The Krieger 120 mm barrage, 380 mm barrage, orbital laser, (your choice) Eruptor (bots), sickle (bugs) Either servo, scout or engineering armor. You are a siege specialist. Sneak near a base, throw the 120 and 380 together and run. Use the Eruptor to sniper any fabricator no caught in the bombardment, or drop the orbital laser if there is still a lot of hostiles, but try to save the orbital for medium bases between bombardment cooldown. Been working great in 7, I just avoid fighting and clear the map while my mates work the objectives. Bombardments also work great on the extraction, just make sure you clear the range and the waves will have a lot of trouble approaching.
I 100% am the pyromaniac. Though I often take orbital gas for extra warcrimes. Sometimes I take the jetpack, since it makes getting an aggressive position or a quick escape a touch easier, or the shield for more tankiness, as I rarely need the supply pack with that loadout.
Shield+ Stratgem sniper, any smg, handcannon and stun granades(if you had bad aim or constantly be in sticky situations) is a combo very OP against Bots, also is very useful combine this with any armor with the perk that buff your accuracy
@@TheMMObro that’s the purpose of the granade pistol my man, a well aimed shot closes the fabricator, the sniper is for deal with Hulks with two eye shots (if bad aim use stun nades) and smg for the rest of the targets
Replace the Stun Grenades with the Orbital EMP. Only a 75 second cooldown with a wider stun radius. Alternatively, the EMP Mortar Sentry is a good option to stun lock multiple enemies over time.
I’ve been running the ‘Jump Pack Grenadier’ for almost a month now. I always run it with the B-08 Light Gunner armor; and Eagle Airstrike & Orbital Railcannon for the 2 other stratagems to help with the big units. Always a blast! Note to others who want to try this kind of load out, team up with some buddies for the higher difficulties because the railcannon wont always be available for those pesky bile titans and chargers.
I've been trying out the grenade launcher set for about a day before seeing this lol. Pairs well with a Breaker (any variant) for dealing with stragglers you don't want to waste precious grenade ammo on. I'd been running Stalwart for about a week and was sick of not killing chargers at any kind of speed; the launcher didn't exactly fix that, but feels better to use when dodging and shooting it's butt, and also has the huge advantage of two-hitting Spewers anywhere.
Recently ran AMR, stun grenades and Supply pack against automatons. The Servo-assisted armor perk allows you to apply both stuns and stratagems from entirely unreasonable distances and with Supply pack you have a lot of grenades to toss around. Devastator patrols, therefore, die in a single stun, same with Hulks. Resupply your teammates to keep whatever they bring firing and give you the moral right to call dibs on other supplies, keep your distance and you're set. I personally ran it with the Liberator AR, because you can magdump without a care in the world and still get all your ammunition back from your backpack. Eagle Airstrike is a given, but Precision Orbital is actually pretty damn good because of its low cooldown. It's a bootleg Railgun Strike if you want it to be, it kills structures and Sauron towers. So it basically saves you 3-4 Airstikes per mission.
The grenade launcher is just amazing. Shooting the second bots drop will kill everyone instantly. You can also shoot containers, fences, radio outposts from large distance. It only needs a lot of ammo when you do a strategem like shooting spree.
2 and 3 combined: As I'm maining that loadout (bug only with this) i can say that there is something like to much fire... Flamethrower as a fire source is enough, adding more is just for "theme" but not working so well... So... Close combat specialist: Blitzer + Flamethrower (flames EVERYWHERE + "stay there", put enemies and ground in flame and use push back and stagger of blitzer to keep them burning!) + jetpack for mobility and option to get thru "no go area" (flames) + two offensive strats of Your choice or one off and a turret or tesla tower. Combine that with stun granade for extra support (and super easy kills of chargers - stun and 3s of fire = rosted charger) and granade pistol for bug holes. When You get experence with using blitzer then easly no friendly fire it is. Also after xx time with flamethrower i ended almost never burning myself so combat medic armor isn't must have. I'm using light with extra granades or arc dmg resistance (when using tesla tower) or fortified (when playing with unexpierenced players, with that -50% explosive dmg You can survive clusterbombs and other explosive friendly fire ^^). Both blitzer and flamethrower arn't much "friendly fire" weapond when using right, it's quite easy to manage our fire but it need some practice.
The most fun I've ever had with a build was preneutered Eruptor, railcannon, stalwart, eagle 500kg, orbital laser. Prenerf the eruptor was capable of dealing with chargers almost as efficiently as a support explosive weapon. I felt like I could use it to deal with *MOST* things, meaning I just needed to focus the rest of my build on killing massive enemies, and protecting me in close range. It was the most 'all rounder' that I've ever felt playing this game, comfortable no matter what the game throws at me. I miss it lol. Can't do that anymore. I mean sure you can run experimental builds but they're not effective. I'm level 90 I've tried all these whack builds and sure, they're fun in some moments of the gameplay, but when the game decides to send 4 bile titans at you and you're stood there with a flamethrower, 3 chargers just sandwiched your turrets and your NAPALM STRIKE IS ON COOLDOWN lol... you're just gonna be running away and diving all over the place. That's not fun it's stressful after a month of it. And the worst part of the games where one guys experimenting and can't deal with any situation effectively, is that everyone starts getting stressed out, the whole experience has a chance of being toxic. The balance just doesn't seem to be there to allow for fun build experimentation. I'd accept arguments that if you actually coordinated with your team you could run most builds though. Making me think the game actually has a role system, but everybody just ignores it, leaving you to feeling like experimental, purpose fit builds are just trash.
vs Bugs I always go Incendiary Breaker, Grenade pistol, Incendiary Grenade but then Flamethrower & Energy Shield. Amazing combo. No healing armor, you won't need it with the shield - I go throwing arm. Then 2 strats for dealing with Bile Titans specifically - since chargers get eaten up pretty quick by the flamethrower.

You have my gratitude for using the theme song from Ghost Recon ... the fire build is awesome, had a run with it and another team mate at Hellmire, it was madness :D
What could be neat is having a video that's like "adjusting your loadouts for different planets" I find that the "Vietnam" planets like The Creek tend to favor different loadouts and tactics than the rocky planets. Mainly because of sight lines but also with natural hazards
Counter sniper, grenade pistol, and jump pack on Helldive bots is a guilty pleasure of mine. If you have good aim you can hip fire headshot an entire army of devastators
If it hasn't crossed your mind to try the pyro build, you have to try it at least once. Sure, the thing you're doing is pretty narrow but when you're doing it, it's REALLY good
I'd say that by far my favourite is the "Plasma Spreader" lodaout Eagle Airstrike, Supply Pack, HMG, Autocannon sentry With Scorcher it's very effective (supply pack obviously for the scorcher, since it's a "Out of ammo" simulator)
Lazer lad loudout: scythe, Laser pistol, stun grenade, Laser cannon, orbital laser, Laser dog, and either emp strike or tesla tower. Armor: anything that gives you extra grenades. Is it good? IDK. Is it fun? Absolutely. LASERS.
Lazor is about two loudouts realy (Theme) Shiled pack + poulse las weapons, and Rover with Beams. You can 2+2 your team with it, having two close in guys, and other two with ranged spray. First team gets Orbital railcanon and Lazor, wchile second team doubels with lazor, + 500kg B. Any and all, wi'll rule them all. For democracy.
i'm always confused or doubtful as to what i should bring onto a mission because there's just so much stuff, so i'll remember these loadouts if i'm looking for something reliable.
One fun loadout I’ve been wanting to try against the automatons is airstrike, shield generator array, auto cannon sentry, and any sort of heavy weapon stratagem.
I’ve seen the autocannon sentry eat against automatons when they don’t notice it’s there and I have all the upgrades so I feel like with the shield generator protecting it the extra firepower would be real nice.
@@adriancollado9275 autocannon sentry shreds even factory striders if placed right, just make sure to destroy the strider's cannon first so it won't just snipe your precious friend
@@dudus9287 appreciate the advice bro I actually tried shield with the autocannon but it is so niche and the shield was actually weaker than I thought but I may just retry the build but maybe throw in a EMS mortar or a rocket sentry so the bots have more to shoot at instead of just one thing.
Flamethrower plus Jump Pack, to get over your paths of fire, is my recent favorite combo. Fire is really good after they fixed DOT, and the Flamethrower actually handles Chargers (a bit too quickly if I'm being honest).
I love the Blitzer, only 2 problems i wish they would fix. 1. It has a serious problem hitting enemies that are right up on you. 2. When there are a lot of bodies between you and what you are trying to kill it seems like the bolts hit the dead bodies instead of the live ones. Also with the nerf to the arc thrower the range is the same as the blitzer so really no reason to bring both and tbh i enjoy the blitzer way more.
For me (bugs) 500kg, orbital laser, flamethrower and guard dog just to clean up the chaff (breaker ie) Bots - 1. Eagle air strike, orbital laser, rail cannon and auto cannon - with servo assisted armor 2. Eagle air strike, orbital laser, amr and ballistic shield (again servo assisted armor with pummeler)
Even though assault rifles need a buff I like to run turrets . Gatling sentry , ac sentry, ems or regular mortar with HMG and liberator penetrator or dominator with magnum or desert eagle and stun or impact nades for bots . I switch between a bunch of fun loadouts though
Let me tell you this. We have both had the same dumb ideas for loadouts. If you ever need a friend to test these builds in greater detail reach out to me. I’ve done group loadouts with the Laser loadout and we called it “Palpatine” plus the jetpack grenadier is a staple “META” playstyle for our bug missions. Great video dude. Thanks for the content.
I already main "the pyromaniac" except I've switched to the impact incendiary. My teammates aren't too appreciative of my crowd control though for some reason...
BLOW IT UP! Any explosive primary, grenade pistol (don't have that one yet), grenade launcher, supply pack, 380 barrage (for enemy bases and bunkers), AC, mortar or rocket sentry for even more explosions at once. WARNING: May result in excessive friendly fire.
I'm sorry. but you did not mention +25% fire damage ship upgrade. I believe it's essential for pyromaniac build. Whit out this upgrade fire damage not so effective as it could be +you recommended wrong granade. Impact fire granaide is better for this build :( impact need slightly more practice to close bag hols..but in general it's better

I like ammunition backpack + machine gun + fortified armor for the recoil reduction effect.
it's fun, it's non-stop shooting.
absolute peak Helldivers 2 content
may I suggest the ''old school'' for bots:
Eagle Airstrike
Walking Barrage
Mortar Sentry
Autocannon
Countersniper
Senator
High explosive
You have my gratitude for using the theme song from Ghost Recon ... the fire build is awesome, had a run with it and another team mate at Hellmire, it was madness :D
What could be neat is having a video that's like "adjusting your loadouts for different planets"
I find that the "Vietnam" planets like The Creek tend to favor different loadouts and tactics than the rocky planets. Mainly because of sight lines but also with natural hazards
loved this vid and was exactly what i've been looking for. Far too many "best ever legendary insane meta build ever" vids out there.
Thanks! I am not good enough to showcase the meta. I just want to have fun with it.
Counter sniper, grenade pistol, and jump pack on Helldive bots is a guilty pleasure of mine. If you have good aim you can hip fire headshot an entire army of devastators
If it hasn't crossed your mind to try the pyro build, you have to try it at least once. Sure, the thing you're doing is pretty narrow but when you're doing it, it's REALLY good
I'd say that by far my favourite is the "Plasma Spreader" lodaout
Eagle Airstrike, Supply Pack, HMG, Autocannon sentry
With Scorcher it's very effective (supply pack obviously for the scorcher, since it's a "Out of ammo" simulator)
How creative are these loadouts! I can't wait to try them out!
For democracy.
forgot the warcrime starter pack.
napalm strike, gas strike, cluster bomb, flamethrower, contact incendiary or incendiary grenades, incendiary breaker
i'm always confused or doubtful as to what i should bring onto a mission because there's just so much stuff, so i'll remember these loadouts if i'm looking for something reliable.
I hope someday they release an armor with a "Fireproof" perk to fully become a Pyromaniac
I like jumppack and flamethrower together, I call it the jackrabbit
Some really cool ideas! Wish we could save loadouts in-game.
For me (bugs) 500kg, orbital laser, flamethrower and guard dog just to clean up the chaff (breaker ie)
Bots -
1. Eagle air strike, orbital laser, rail cannon and auto cannon - with servo assisted armor
2. Eagle air strike, orbital laser, amr and ballistic shield (again servo assisted armor with pummeler)
I use the fire loadout with jetpack to jump over my flames. pretty epic ngl
great vid! definitely going to take inspiration from this to spice up my games
Pyromania loadout:
Jump pack, Breaker Incendiary, Flamethrower, napalm eagle Airstrike, Orbital laser. Light armor with scout trait + stamina enchancement
Nice 2 see someone else with a similar play style
on the first one I'd go with CE-67 Titan, just to get more grenades to fit the theme
I love to play ballistic shield+smg+antimaterial rifle setup, it is very effective against automatons
If you really wanted to you could bring the laser for the Pyro kit cause it does technically set stuff on fire
Even though assault rifles need a buff I like to run turrets . Gatling sentry , ac sentry, ems or regular mortar with HMG and liberator penetrator or dominator with magnum or desert eagle and stun or impact nades for bots . I switch between a bunch of fun loadouts though
The only kinds of builds that matter, the fun ones
The OG ghost recon music was the chefs kiss
It is epic as!
EMS is so under rated, its great for (you guessed it) crowd control
My pyromantic is:
- Heavy Armour with Extra Padding
- Blitzer
- Stun grenades
- Flamethrower
- Energy Shield
- Napalm Eagle
- 380 mm
I just use only big explosions guy build: 500kg, 380mm, grenade launcher, grenade pistol, +2 grenades vest and jetpack.
Bugs: 500 kg/ napalm/ flame thrower/ rover/ Blitzer and grenade pistol
Bots: 500 kg/ cluster/ 380 barrage/ auto cannon/ scorcher and revolver
bullets : strafing run , gatling barage, guard dog, any mg - u will struggle
All of these loadouts are officially on Arrowhead's list of future nerfs, for being "fun".
Sorry will take video down before it gets nerfed!
Might have to take you up on that sometime! Appreciate it!
you are doing great job. thanks for video
Tipp for flamethrower use the shield backpack
My favorite loadout is the 4,294,967,208 G-16 Impact grenades
I already main "the pyromaniac" except I've switched to the impact incendiary. My teammates aren't too appreciative of my crowd control though for some reason...
500kg + grenade launcher + ammo pack + autocannon sentry + incendiary breaker
Grenade launcher can kill charger if you shoot under its butt I think 3-6 shots
i would not take a medic armor with pyromaniac cause you can simply dive to take out the burning if you catch on fire
More like. How to be a liability to Helldiver 2 difficulty randoms.
That is the most inefficient way to use a flamthrower.
respect turrets go brr
I always bring in at least one turret into a mission. They both clear out enemies and provide a distraction if you need yo disengage.
The fire build would be great if we had fire resistant armor
Have been wondering if we will get some new armour perks such as flame resist.
@MrIncognito23 I don't understand why they didn't have each perk then every armor set is listed as a skin under that perk.
BLOW IT UP! Any explosive primary, grenade pistol (don't have that one yet), grenade launcher, supply pack, 380 barrage (for enemy bases and bunkers), AC, mortar or rocket sentry for even more explosions at once.
WARNING: May result in excessive friendly fire.
any fellow gas strikers here? ever notice how sometimes it doesnt land exactly where you placed the beacon?
one side : Where meta sh*t 😭😭😭
othrr side : Damn this setup is fun as hell.
I don’t understand the closing of big holes when they all just dig their way up through the dirt on each bug breach. 🧐
Have fun with the dagger when it cant even kill small enemies
I like my heavy weapons guy build.
Heavy armor
Stock Machine gun
Supply pack
Eagle airstrike
Gatling sentry
What about sniper loadout? Pretty obvious selections for the primary and strategic weapons
Hans get the Flammenwerfer.
"6 fun loadouts to try, #2 Pyro maniac"....*proceds to show gameplay of him getting absolutely wrecked the entire time
- mines
- incendary mines
- 120mm barrage
- 380mm barrage
Dude grenade pistol + ballistic shield looks like the best reason to buy the Democratic Detonation warbond I'm not gonna lie.
Not going to lie, it kind of slaps!
See my momma said i can’t play with fire but ima do it
Meta this meta that, have you ever META GIRL CADET???
You get a like just for playing Dagothwave at the end.
Just wanted to drop in because of the title, meta or not all these items used will now recieve a rebalance in the next couple patches. 😂😂
i use de lvl 1 scrub, ultimate challenge
Same here as level 76😂
Randomly watching this video, only to find out I’m #6 😂
I'm sorry. but you did not mention +25% fire damage ship upgrade. I believe it's essential for pyromaniac build. Whit out this upgrade fire damage not so effective as it could be
+you recommended wrong granade. Impact fire granaide is better for this build :( impact need slightly more practice to close bag hols..but in general it's better
does light armour with jumppack give you a greater jumping range in comparison with a medium armour?
In short, yes.
So the jump distance is based off of your speed and if you have stamina. Since lighter armour has more speed you get more jump distance.
@@MrIncognito23 ❤
Fun is the meta
Try out pummeler/ballistic shield/anti materiel rifle
Are these tested for difficulty 9?
my personal favorite loadout is grenade because i can do the grenade glitch and get infinite grenades and destroy all the automatons
I dont want to give it a like because is just the right number now 666 hahaha love the vid btw
