  • Hello 👋🏼 Today we are looking at how to manage translations using Crowdin and the GitHub integration. This example is using a React app however it applies to any front end. I hope you enjoy!
Thank you for Crowdin for reaching out and partnering on this video!

Thank you for sharing this. I am using Crowdin to translate right to left language, and it's quite challenging to align the text with preexisting code tags. Any tips on that?

Hey! Some recommendations are available here:
      support.crowdin.com/online-editor/#translating-rtl-languages
There is also Unicode Table app available (it can be installed by the project owner only) which allows you to copy/paste the LRM / RLM tags into translation:
      store.crowdin.com/unicode
In any case, be sure that exported translations will look nice and remember to type tags/placeholders in the left-to-right direction :)

What do you think about this as compared to using Github Actions because I see that on Crowdin as well?

    Hey, thanks for tutorial.
I am struggling with getting straight simple HTTP request for translations that are stored inside Crowdin and retrieve it in React app.
Do you know, is it even possible?
I mean sending HTTP request Crowdin endpoint and get straight JSON formatted translations.
I would be grateful for any help :)

Crowdin have a Rest API that is made for this as well as some API clients. If you search for crowdin developer portal you should find the docs. Good luck!

hey, quick question is this sponsored? I know you and crowdin "partnered" but what does that mean exactly

Hey, not sure of the right terminology here. But yes, they asked me to make an intro into Crowdin similar to the other videos I had made and compensated me for it.
