    When I was a teeanger I used to wear flat caps with stickers on them because I thought it was 'cool'. A decade later, I've started wearing hats again. Now I've got to rock them curved without stickers because 1) It protects from the sun 2) I'm a fully grown adult 3) I'm not some 'gangsta'.

    My curve all depends on the hat and how tight it fits. I wear my hat low almost to the point my eye brows are gone. I wear a 7 1/2. Most caps I own have a slight curve for the fit to be comfortable. I have two or three tho that are completely flat, I don’t wear them often. If I wear my true size (which I haven’t size I was younger) 7 1/4 - 7 3/8 the curve is real like yours. Most of the guys around my area who play baseball prefer that fit so it doesn’t fly off while playing.

    Will steamer cause an issue for wool hats? 😅

    • @VFTV
      @VFTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keep it focused on the brim and you shouldn't have a problem. It could contribute to shrink on the crown etc if used there too much.

    Man i never liked the idea of curving because i cant stand the sight of those ' bubble / wrinkle ' that forms in the middle of the UV when it gets curved.
    However , after watching this video, Pierre said that it can be smoothen out ? food for thought.. hmm...

      @@VFTV I tried that and ironing and no go. I will add it was a hat club campfire hat and made in Bangladesh which I find to crease super easy. The brims are thinner than China hats in my opinion. Does your steam trick work for both?
