I love the line “it’s not an act of love if you made her”. It speaks to me on the societal pressures that women have faced and toe the line and “know your place”.

The line “it’s not an act of love if you make her” really reminds me of the societal pressure put on women.

I’m so glad you liked it! I figured you would. So powerful coming from a woman’s perspective. It really calls out those relationships that feel suffocating and since I’ve had a few of those type of relationships it really speaks volumes. The lyrics and her vocals and the video are just perfection.

Absolutely! She has a very classic look and sound with a twist

You are actually the first woman I’ve seen reacting to this! I think it’s just so much stronger if the person who is reacting understands on a personal level! Ms. Paris Paloma did an absolutely fantastic job with this song🫶

same, I've seen so many men reacting to this I needed to see another woman react to it and understand it properly

For a song about women, for women, to such a degree, it feels… angering? that most reactions are male.

I love Paris Paloma, her voice is so great in all her songs, but for me ESPECIALLY in as good a reason which is one of her more recent songs, and is more high energy style-wise.

She’s devouring a pomegranate at the end and the symbolism is tied to women. You should look into all of the symbolism in the song! It’s so cool.

This is an ANTHEM FOR ALL WOMEN. Every woman since childhood has experienced and does experience some form of what she sings about! Every single woman can relate to this song about gender inequality!!!

Totally new to me too. Loved it, what a great song, loved the beat and the vocals. Look forward to seeing what else she's done.
You're right 💯 It should be a partnership. Give equally and the take part it taken care of. Not take and take. Been there. The important thing is not to lose your kindness and become bitter. It does seem to happen often that kind people find a taker, someone who'll take advantage of their kindness. Sometimes though, the kindest people can find each other. 💕

Did A24 produce the music video? I’m obsessed with the artistic direction of it. And song is incredibly powerful of course.

Another thing I have yet to see people say is when she says "Sorry for my tongue", back in medieval times they would put a spiked tongue apparatus on their 'disobedient' wives. It was a head piece they had to wear so they couldn't speak, and would cut their mouths to teach them a lesson. Archaic.

Us Brits love you too treacle 😊 this song reminds me why I don't date anymore, my kindness is my weakness and women that I went out with in my past exploited this fact, so I find being single is a much better lifestyle for me, I am happily single though 😊💙 I have a request for you, it's a song call "I might" by Tom Grennan, another great British artist, this song is my theme tune 😂 go for the live session video 😎
