Follow the line of the person who did the video, the 4AFE is a great and reliable engine, you can modify the intake and exhaust parts first and do a weigth reduction and have a great race car, now if you want serious torque and power 200+hp I think is better to get a 4AGE instead of modding the 4AFE internals

I would guess it was to cool it down.... This car is not designed to go those speeds over time, so when you reach 160, why not just let nature slow you down ( by air resistance ) and let the engine run easy at idle, while the air cooling is still at top from the speed you already bulit up.
@@NoReply28 No part of the car will take any damage of being put in neutral at any speed. As long as the engine is ideling it also has full brakes and power steering. The engine was redlining, which on the other side of things IS hurting the engine.

@@AngelIbarraPcSystem porque dejando en neutro el auto ya no cuentas con los frenos de motor y sin esos frenos igual es arto peligroso frenar ah esa velocidad dependiedo como esten los frenos normales y bueno lo recomendable es frenar con ambos frenos para que no ocurra algún accidente y sea mas seguro frenar porque asi frenan las 4 ruedas como deven

@@eduardoeach te creo al 100% un 4AFE en buen estado es capaz de ponerse a la par de un 4AGE normal y es mejor concentrarse en los perifericos del auto, escape, headers, admision, reduccion de peso, porque la arquitectura del 4AFE no recibe bien las modificaciones, en caso de querer meterse con los internos es mejor hacer el swap a 4AGE y desarrollarlo al maximo, porque desarrollando el 4AFE se pierde su caracteristica mas importante que es la confiabilidad

And yes its a 1.6na4inline thus the speedometer. The acceleration might not be that good but this particular engine can go over 200km/h in a good day for like hours.

i think it is to avoid the brake engine, if you go at high revs, the brake engine is very strong when you release de gas pedal
Never put the car in neutral when you're going that fast. It probably the most idiotic thing to do and put your life and other life in danger.
