Best lap for the day in Sepang : 2 mins 50 seconds flat
Virgin timed lap on a track day for the AE101 after prepping it for months. Shake down was done once or twice but was never timed.
Timed with RaceChrono.
Brake pistons were still sticking, hence the rotation brake noise when hard braking. Very bad fuel surge as well. Fully stock engine with aftermarket exhaust system. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Fabulous...What suspension nd brake r used?
suspension is BC Racing V1 Coilovers.. brakes are just the AE111 superstrut brake calipers mated with aftermarket rotors and pads.

What was with the cut-off at 1:56 ? Was that throttle position sensor problem?
we had no fuel surge tank, so the fuel was cutting off during high-G corners.

perhaps not.
AE86s are normally expensive as hell for obvious reasons.
а почему не докручивает?. этот двигатель только после 7000 оборотов в пик выходит. отсечка в районе 8500. но до 8000 не разу не докрутил

during this time of the video, yeah practically stock minus coilovers and exhaust.

Nope, stock shifter.
@@bushidofang wow that's incredible, the stock one has such a long throw (still not longer than the vw golf I had). Stock clutch too? Mine current 94 clutch sucks, replaced it a some years ago when I bought the car from an auction, the engagement is a bit vague and close to the top. How's yours?
@@shinobusensui9395 yeah the throw is a little long but not the worst. It actually feels quite good, considering the shifter is quite close to the floor instead of being higher up. 😂 After getting used to it, you can actually shift quite fast. The clutch is an Exedy three puck, so it's definitely more grabby.. in terms of bite point you can adjust it on your clutch pedal. 🙂
@@bushidofang I swapped out my lever with a shirt shifter from eBay and bought a 400gram shift knob on Amazon. Way better feel now, the week I waited for the knob and.had the stock 200gram knob with the shirt shifter was hell. It was a bit rough to go between gears due to the lack of leverage. I actually want a more grabby clutch, I was too use to my Miata clutch that the corolla was a let down.

brake piston overheating, so it started to jam so it was rubbing.
That tyre rubbing is so bad it would seriously affect handling.....
not the tire actually. it's a jammed brake piston
