Sensible advice...thank you. I'm struggling with Etsy because I have no sales - so no reviews...Nobody wants to be 'the first' to buy something, so I'm in a 'Catch 22' situation..but one day, someone will break that cycle and buy something :). I'm remaining positive x

Angela I've been watching your videos for about 8-10 months now and I actually have an embrodery machine picked out that I'm getting next week! SO excited! Anyway I subscribed to Pamela's page also but can you tell me which videos of her you thought were most helpful as far as starting out? I'm brand new to embroidery and we are wanting to start a little embroidery business. Today is my husband's (the Pops of Pops and GiGi's workshop 😊) first official day of retirement and this is going to be our retirement hobby/fun job. We've learned a LOT already from you, and I'm in your tips/advice facebook group and I've gotten great advice so far there too. I am trying to start an embroidery business with doing alot of vest and patches for the service dog community, as my daughter has a service dog and this is a need. Girl, you are my inspiration I really want to open an Etsy shop my family keeps telling me I should do It but I'm just so scared. I have a press on machine which I have had for 2 years and don't use a Brother PE500 embroidery machine which I also bought I belive 3 yrs ago and I am just trying to learn how to use it. But still, don't know how to import files into it maybe I should call brother and have them teach me LOL. Thank you so much for your videos and tips. I hope someday soon I can open a shop cuz I just got laid off from my job. Honestly, this year has really been a bad one for me, I lost my 27 yr old son in June he was held for ransom and then murdered, I got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, soon after that and now to top it off I'm out of a job. Once again thanks for everything. PS I love your videos I just cant stop watching them. LOL

I would stay with the PE770! Don’t buy a new machine until you are ready for a multi needle!

You would need to invest in products that you hope to get going. What will be your niche? Clothing? Hats? Etc. =)

Hey Angela, I just purchased a brother pe800, I’m wondering what the best software is going from photo-to-stitch is and creating my own designs. I want to be able to make whatever design someone sends me. I’m brand new but also want the software where I can make this happen. Is there a base software I need to have. I main focus is photo to stitch in order to embroidery to logos and so on. Thank you so much for you help 🙏🏾

Thank you for your tips, very informative video question how are you able to sale charter items without being reported on Etsy infringement. I sold Dr. Seuss Badge Reel and Etsy sent me a infringement email and removed my listing I didn’t understand because many people sell charter items. So I would like to sell charter shirts how would I go about it?
You can't legally and that's why i removed most of my items that were character related. Some sellers just get lucky and no one reports them. I know some people put "Miss Mouse" instead of minnie mouse and so on.

You would need to see how it works on a platform like etsy. What kind of products are you hoping to sell?
So I can use granimals or other brands to design? I thought it was only Gildan...
You can use whatever shirts you want. Just as long as the thickness is there and won't tear up in the embroidery machine.

You can apply these principles to any platform, but the Etsy platform works well. =)
How do you do a watermark on your pictures? Probably a silly question.
no no its not im confused as well especially hwo to without people photoshopping over it
I use photoshop... I make my logo and import it on top of the new product and decrease the opacity to like 50%
