I make bath bombs like this, if you use a spray bottle with water in it, works great, doesn't foam much at all. Just mist it over, stir, mist...... until its the consistency you want. Thanks for sharing.
If you don't have the silicone trays you can use anything to mold them, I've used an ice cream scoop or even just a tablespoon. I just scooped them out and set them on parchment paper to dry and they're good to go. If you have trouble with foaming and don't feel like messing with it you can also just put the mixture in a cute jar in the bathroom with a scoop in it and throw a scoop in the toilet every time you want to clean it, having it in a cube shape doesn't add to the cleaning property, LOL.
This is a great recipe and a great gift - yes, I said it, GIFT for super busy mom's and dad's toss one in before leaving for work, and boom! Give the bowl a few passes with the brush and you're good to go! Thank you for sharing!
Love your videos because you never waste my time by stuffing them with extraneous information. You’re friendly and authentic. Thanks for being a joy to watch.😊
Have been loving all of your DIY's. Very informative, has me thinking about all the chemicals I use and what I can do about it. I've been experimenting with different essential oil combos and found that blood orange, cedarwood, and peppermint smell wonderful together. Still working on different scent combinations. All thanks to you!
WOW!!!!! Thank you!! I personally enjoyed watching you making this and learning something new without ending up overwhelmed either. Enjoyed your layback humor 😁
I make bath bombs all the time, something I do to keep it from foaming is to add the water with all ingredients except the citric acid. So if you know it takes 2 Tblsp in this recipe, add that into the baking soda and essential oils, stir well and then add your citric acid while stirring.
What a fun way to clean your toilet! I was wondering if I could just make up a dry mixture and spoon it into the commode; and how much I would add? Rather than forming into cubes? Thanks : )
Im going to try and make these..to make my bathroom smell clean not chemical..thanku for showing us how to do this..have a great day and keep smiling ur beautiful ❤
Great lil recipe! Although, I do wonder if you could mix all but the water together, keep that in an airtight container, then just throw a scoop of that into the toilet when you need to clean it?? 🤔😁
Well I made this and they just kept rising up in the molds. I thinking about just making the drying mixture and it using it that way by scooping it out. Would that work?
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa thank you. So much better than all the chemicals in products. I appreciate you showing folks how easy it is to do these things. Next I want to try making dish washer tabs.
Hi. I posted earlier about the stove. You said GA doesn’t have gas. Do they not have natural gas or is propane also not an option. Just curious. Had never heard that before. Be safe. Be prepared. Be Blessed
This is great! I have a question for you about the citric acid. I was wondering if it is food grade or cleaning grade? Both types are available on Amazon
Made a batch of your laundry soap. This is next…. The clorox wand refills are too expensive. Thanks for sharing! I can keep a jar in the boys bathroom and its convenient for them to clean. Can i store in a plastic container or only glass? 🤎😊
Sorry, this maybe a silly question. What do these actually do. We have hard water also. Does this help get rid of the build up? And is the essential oil necessary. Thank you for your time and video.

I love your idea! I have a pretty jar that's been sitting in my bathroom for decoration! Now it will actually have a purpose! ❤

I need this. Didn’t know that until now. But I definitely definitely need this. Thanks a bunch. ❤️🇨🇦
Happy to help! ❤️

I was thinking the same thing. Seems so much easier. I’d guess a tablespoon and adjust from there.
It becomes one big clump but you can use old ice cube trays or just lay out parchment and spoon blobs on it
I use old ice cube trays.
Love your stove!
Thank you!

Thank you for sharing all your recipes.
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for sharing. Love your recipes. I make my own fabric softener ❤❤❤❤❤
Can't wait to try all your recipes. I believe shower steamers are made similarly for cold & flu season. Eucalyptus & juniper to open the airways
We do make these exactly like you described.
If you use rubbing or witch hazel, this will stop the fizz
Thank you. Well done. 👍🏼
Wow thanks for sharing this. I was wondering if there are any other uses for them? For instance helping clean out your drain or garbage disposal.
I use lemon for my disposal. I’ve also works.
So cool and convenient! I will be making these this week!
Blessings & Aloha
Hope you enjoy!
Thank you for making it easy to find this one. :-)
Thanks for your tips and recipes
Ty. I am learning so much from you. 😊
Thank you for sharing!!!
Looking for a better solution!!
That is awesome! I am SO doing this!
Thank you so much, going to try…😊❤
Hi, is the link above for the molds the same size that you used in the video? The one in the link looks smaller. Thanks :-)
The one I used in the video I actually got at Micheal’s in the cake section. I wasn’t able to find the exact one. You can use an ice mold too.
Great lil recipe! Although, I do wonder if you could mix all but the water together, keep that in an airtight container, then just throw a scoop of that into the toilet when you need to clean it?? 🤔😁
It becomes a clump over time.

It should work. It was too wet. Lower the liquid and it won’t puff up so much.
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa okay thank you!
If you want a stain removing toilette tablet add an enzyme before you form squares.
Do you have a homemade poupourri for toilets? I am really trying to get away from chemicals too. Thanks,, enjoying your videos.
We sure do. Poo Pourri Poop spray dupe using essential oils - Christmas in July

I have to wear gloves when using citric acid. ❤❤❤

They do have it, you are right. We just don’t have that option where we are.
This is great! I have a question for you about the citric acid. I was wondering if it is food grade or cleaning grade? Both types are available on Amazon
I always buy food grade since I do sometimes use it in recipes but if you don’t cleaning is fine it is it less money!
Made a batch of your laundry soap. This is next…. The clorox wand refills are too expensive. Thanks for sharing! I can keep a jar in the boys bathroom and its convenient for them to clean. Can i store in a plastic container or only glass? 🤎😊
For the toilet bombs it can be either.
Is the citric acid ok for porcelain toilet bowls?
It sure is! That’s what we have and haven’t ever had an issue
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa What about dropping one of these into the toilet tank? Would it hurt any of the rubber tubes?
Does anyone know a simple easy way to get the black out from using a black plunger ?
Pumice stone works super well!
I heard you can add a.fee.drops.of.dawn dish liquid. Has anyone done that? Does it qork?
I’ve never heard that. Interesting
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa ill try it and let you know. 😆
Could this also be made into or used as bath bombs?
They sure can!
Clean ur toilet every 3-4 days?
I have hard water and lots of boys. I swish it daily and clean it every three days.
Sorry, this maybe a silly question. What do these actually do. We have hard water also. Does this help get rid of the build up? And is the essential oil necessary. Thank you for your time and video.
Is it best in toilet bowl or the toilet tank …. Or does it really matter ?
Bowl is the best place to put it to get it really clean
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Greatly appreciate the prompt reply. 👍😃. Thank you
How are you looking younger. I have watched other of your videos.
I gained weight and my wrinkles filled in 😂🤣😂 just kidding. You are kind and I thank you!
So same recipe as bath bomb just different smell ok
Yup.
It’s pronounced Lang Lang, I had to look it up years ago because I couldn’t pronounce it
Someone else told me it’s ylang ylang. I’m so confused now 😂 just kidding. I’m saying it lang lang now.
