    To get a softer consistency, put the mixture in the freezer for 20 minutes and then whip it. I have been making and using a similar recipe for years and will NOT go back to to store bought antiperspirant! I'm a somewhat new subscriber and am loving your content. I read a mean, snarky comment from one of your subscribers and you handled it with such grace and dignity. It warmed my heart.

    This may have already been answered, but the yogurt brand is "OUI!" is pronounced "WE". It is French for "YES!". I LOVE this video (okay, not gonna lie, I love all of your videos, lol!). I used to make soap, bath bombs, salves, candles and a lip balm that is out of this world, I stopped a few years ago. However, this brought back some incredible memories and I am totally going to try this. I love making things like this. THANK YOU! I have tried most of the "natural" deodorants and none of them, even the very pricey one that starts with L___ quite cut it for my 58 yr. old pits. I tried a homemade one that used baking soda and that was a NO go! I think this one might be the one! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE your videos??? Thanks for sharing and renewing my interest in homemade body products. A couple notes for other viewers that might be helpful, essential oils should be used with caution around pets and kids and candellila wax is an excellent alternative for beeswax, you just need to use about half the amount of beeswax as its a denser wax. Thanks again, can't wait to try this.

    This looks pretty interesting, and I'll definitely try it when my current supply runs out. Careful with peppermint, though, if you use this product in your "nether regions". I'm so glad that you don't use baking soda in your formula...it literally burns red patches on my skin! Does the tea tree scent come through very strong, or do the other EO's help to mask it? Also, if the budget allows, Amazon sells empty twist up deodorant containers that you just fill...might be more convenient than a jar? And one more question...do the oils in your deo leave stains on your clothing? P.S. LOVED the Mutant Ninja Turtle mask at the end! It took me by surprise and made me laugh! Another great video!

    • @LittleHillHomesteadGa
      @LittleHillHomesteadGa  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Baking soda does the exact same thing to me, it’s awful! You cannot smell the tea tree really once you add other EO. I promise. I did try pouring it into an old deodorant tube and it’s a little too soft. If I added more beeswax I bet it would do great! It hasn’t left anything on my clothes but I put it on, run around my room getting ready and let it absorb before I put my clothes on. You can feel it change once it is absorbed.

    For Lady's only, enter at your own risk! Rof 🤣🤣 You crack me up, I was laughing my butt off! I do believe you blushed a little bit!! Let's be real winter gets here I almost stop shaving, I do always make sure I shave my pits though. I think you are a little bit (maybe more) younger then me. I am 55 yrs, here is one thing you get to look forward to when you hit menopause and or get around my age. The hair you have to shave slows down growing till it pretty much stops growing. But there is 1 kicker , the hair on the back of my legs don't really grow anymore, but it does on the front of my legs. A friend of ours asked my Granny years ago, before she passed if at her age you still had hair everywhere , lol My Granny was very well mannered and always watched her p's and q's so she replied , " Well Lady's when you was born you came into this world bald and when you leave this world , you will leave bald!" I know this is was a TMI comment, but it's still a cute story. I am much like my Granny in some ways, but I did not get her sweet mouth lol. I am as blunt and honest as they come and they stuff that can roll out of my mouth as often shocked myself. lol It is just out there before I can stop it and by the time I realize what I have said, I need a crowbar to get my foot out of my mouth. lol My friends and family know if they don't really want to hear a truthful answer about question , they don't ask me!! lol I have learned to tame my tongue some what, since I had a Barber Shop for 20 years. Yes ma'am my mouth gets me in more trouble, I try to walk away lol ! I'm gonna finish the video now. Thanks for the laugh, I had a rough and stressful day. I don't comment a whole lot because I am usually watching on my tv, I have to get on my desk top. I hate getting on youtube with my phone or tablet , I never get where I want to be. Have a good night! 😀

      @@LittleHillHomesteadGa Omg you are so funny, yes ma'am we would be a deadly combo. I am pretty sure you are probably as blunt as I am or close to it. lol I have the same problem, I speak and then try have to cover what I accidently said. lol So yesterday, my sister calls me, my Mother fell again for the 3rd time in the last few weeks. She is an accident waiting to happen, she has always been that way my whole life. But she is 80 now and not as funny, but yesterday it was. There is a place in her floor that a man needs to fix but doesn't have time (he doesn't live there). that is what she keeps tripping on. I found that out when my sister called. Instead of calling 911 , they call me.. SNH I am 20 minutes from her house. She is stubborn is all I can say. So I get over there and my 80 year Mother fell into the cat litter box and she is just sitting there like it's another day... She looked pretty comfy lol .. I asked Angela my sister , you take pictures?? bah bah , she said no, I said well go get your camera lol she's been sitting there 30 minutes in the litter box 3 mores aint going to hurt anything!! lol SO we took pictures!! Before I said that, I made sure she was not hurt in anyway. LOL She would kill me if she knew I was blasting this all over the internet lol. We got her cleaned up and in bed and then I fixed the floor! lol I guess for all the laughing I did when I saw Mother in that litter box, she ran my butt off, fixing stuff and getting stuff. I really need that Pits and bits yesterday! lol I keep telling them I am not a man!! lol Have a great day!!🤣🤣

    Funny story
    I had aphids on my roses, my girlfriend told me to buy Diatomaceous Earth (I have the same bag you have). My husband started hosing them down which took care of the problem. Now I have this bag of stuff I really don't know what it is or what to do with it, now I do!!! One less thing to buy. What else can I do with this stuff?

      If you ever go camping out it around your tent or table and ants won’t cross it. You can use it in food buckets to keep pests away like I use bay leaves. It absorbs smell so you can throw a little in trash cans. Hmm, I wonder if you added essential oil to it if you could use it as a room deodorizer? I’ll have to try that.

      @deemartinez519 Candellila wax is much firmer than beeswax so you won't want to use as much or it will be much harder. Using half as much as beeswax is usually recommended but you'll have to experiment to find the texture that works for you.

    When I shower, I wash in those areas with extra-strong antibacterial soap (Hibiclens). It kills all bacteria. I've always used antiperspirant because sweating makes my pits red/raw when the skin rubs together. I use Arrowroot powder under my breasts. I'll have to make a small batch of this deodorant and see how it goes. I think I have most of the ingredients already. I'm concerned about the oiliness of this cream staining my clothes, especially underarm area.
