Great job you guys! A complete rewires although is intimidating is also satisfying knowing all the wire are new and not crispy and messed up.

Was admittedly very intimidating, especially given our short timeline, but ultimately VERY satisfying in the end. 👍🏻

I recently rewired my 78 K10 with a painless harness. Took me 3 weekends and about 20 hours. It was so satisfying when I turned the key and everything worked! Good job fellas!

Love the sound of this! Back in the 70's I had a model of the Monza with that exact paint job. Love the Spyder!

That’s a whole lot of work and long late hours. Glad you were able to get it going.

Pretty nice work you guys do there yeah I dig the Mazda I had a 79 Skyhawk it was black and chrome with white interior four-speed it was nice to ride but it was only pushing out a little V6 I get to 31

That looked as painless as sticking a hot fireplace poker in your eye 😂. Congrats on making the trip that was a ton of work I never would have made it.

Man, that is a sweet shirt you have on this video. 😂 One thing that I am excited for, for you between this and the previous video is when you start work on your Spyder. Once you get the body work and all done I feel like the assembly is going to be a breeze after learning everything on Nate's car.

Working on a painless wiring harness is blocked for my 87 barbers right now slowly figuring out the wiring make sure it’s all right bud I’m using a painless circuit Boss I was told are use it to power my other relays so I’m gonna try it he said that sounds like a good idea give me a buzz back I haven’t done any wiring on the car since 87 so yeah I got an LS 1999 it’s an LS one but I see all the wiring it’s going on with that thing and it just threw me off on the vac 40 so I still have it I had it for quite a while now but yeah I’d be nice little motor to build I thought I was gonna have a lot of money and swapping it in my Firebird so I went old school stroker motor but I had to put just as much money did as I did I would’ve with the LS one drive safe have fun later bye

It flooded with fuel because the vacuum line wasn't on the MAP Sensor = ECU (VE Fuel Table) thought the throttle was wide open.
Like it or not, your learning EFI quickly👍 Another FYI is, since I'm pretty sure you connected the Holley Harness to the engine's MAP sensor?
If so, you can change the "Sensor Type" (Sensors then MAP button in the software) from Internal 1bar to the GM# sensor your engine has = no vacuum line need from the engine to ECU...

Yeah we learned the hard way how badly it runs without the vacuum line. However, I wasn't aware that changing from the generic Internal 1 bar to the GM # would eliminate the need for the vacuum line. Thx!

I know it is easy to armchair quarterback, but my mind was screaming "Check your grounds!!!" I'm glad you got through that without any ECU damage. I know your Power Tour had some issues based on your meetup with VGG Derek. I hope that was the extent of your problems. Guess I'll find out in the next video or two.

Lol. Yeah, it’s ALWAYS a bad ground and in should’ve known that! 😅 As for how Power Tour went… weeelllll… that one’s gonna take me a bit to figure out when I begin editing. 😩😂

Armchair QBing here as well, why not use the fuel pump to get rid of the gas? Might be slow but better than moving a full tank I would think.

@@jescheffler Thought about this, but then came across a motorcycle lift that was perfect and made raising/lowering the gas tank easy.
