Being extremely empathetic can make Tarot difficult when reading for others, for sure. On top of that, even if you *do* always manage to maintain emotional distance, giving Tarot readings is energy-draining and people need to recognise when they need a break or to step back. You will definitely be as proficient as you want to be. You're smart as hell. Start a channel!
With each tarot vid that you do your energy of self confidence radiates more and more. It is obvious that you are in love with your work. I love the tarot and hope that in the years to come I will be as proficient as you are now. My stumbling block as far as possibly ever reading for others is that in the past I've gotten so caught up in the energies of others & my compassion for them that it has caused me discomfort. I'm working on objectively separating myself from those habits.
Oh my gosh I love you even more now. I appreciate this video. People have told me to throw the book out... I had reservations about that. Intuition is so important and a key part... but I need the foundation, meanings, and the research too. I look forward to your videos. Blessings! :)
How refreshing to hear this for a change. The occult, i.e. the esoteric arts are about ballance, harmony, cycles, and tradition/history. A lot of people involved today want to entirely throw out the masculine principle and embrace the feminine principle as the whole, but that's unbalanced. 100% intuition with no knowledge of tradition and historical theories is like mercury without sulfur, the red king without the white queen. The circumscribed pentacle is about the 5-way ballance, proportion, and interaction, just like the five-suit Tarot.
Very good point about The Hierophant :) I will be exploring him more as time goes on. I keep comparing resources particularly when it comes to him.. He used to frustrate me but now he intrigues me. You have to push yourself through that boundary.
From one bookworm to another, and for those of your viewers interested - there's a nice little book called "Psychic Tarot" by Nancy Antenucci and Melanie A. Howard which includes exercises to help develop personal intuition in tandem with Tarot study. It's written very simplistically, but necessarily so to reach a broad audience.
Agreed! A balance of the two. I would add looking into slight alterations existing in some decks (and why they exist), as with my preferred pack, the Thoth deck. About the Hierophant, I think a key aspect is considering him an exoteric version of the esoteric High Priestess. Thank you so much for your thoughts on this!
Aww shucks, you made me blush! I'm thinking that for the time being I'm just going to start a new blog. My last one was all about emotional healing and was "non-denominational" but now that I've moved past that part I'd like to talk more about my spiritual journey.
Thanks :) I don't really enjoy the like function. I think it's a glib way of responding to something either positively or negatively. I know that I'm going to encounter people who wish to disagree or criticise, but I'd like them to do so in a way that I can respond to and understand, not in anonymity.
Thank you for this video. I am currently RE-learning a few of my decks by shuffling during morning meditation and whichever card falls out, I study and charge that card throughout my day. I have a question however on positioning. What would you consider if a card falls out of the deck completely horizontal, not upright or reverse? How would you read a card like that? Thank you for your videos.
"Tell me what you see in this card?" "Sex." "I see...and this one?" "Sex." "...And this one??" "Sex." "Dear Goddess! All you think about is sex!" "Don't blame me, you're the one showing me all the dirty cards."
Wow... do wise beyond your years!! I am I guess a beginner and alot older than you my sweet. I trybto get as much information as I can, but some days just feel just do closed off?! 😕...It has been my life's dream to do this, I'm very sensitive to people. Any suggestions. I am a new subscriber. 😇

An important, informative video.

I totally agree with you on the needing both methods, its why I have followed your coarses. x

Thank you for the encouragement. :)
Thanks so much for the recommendation :)
Sweet, I would certainly be up for reading that :) x
