In the video, you mentioned that you just press the record button to switch between photo and video, but for video, you typically need a completely different shutter speed compared to what you probably use for photos. For example, at 50fps, the shutter speed should be 1/100, but that’s often way too slow for photos. So do you manually adjust the camera settings every time you switch between photo and video, or can you set up the camera to automatically apply the correct shutter speed when switching? It seems like such a hassle to constantly change the settings.
At the moment I'm very busy giving workshops for Canon. But, we are working on an online course for this year. Are there specific things you want to learn?
There are so many things I’d like to know. Do you primarily shoot with the same camera, or do you use one for video and one for photos? What focal length do you prefer at the bride entrance of the aisle? Video What focal length you prefer for video. You follow the shutterspeed rule for movie or put higher? I would definitely buy an online course if you made one. I’ve considered Taylor Jackson’s but think it wasnt
I’ll gladly answer your questions so I can help you. 😃 It is also possible to become a member of my channel, where you can get one-on-one time with me. That is more valuable than a course with someone who doesn’t speak back IMO 😃 Your questions: - At the moment, I use two R5 Mark II cameras, and both are for photo and video. - I only shoot with prime lenses, and 90% of the time, I use a 35mm and 50mm. I use the 35mm for the aisle. - For video, it is very important to use the right shutter speed. Therefore, I use VNDs to control the light instead of adjusting the ISO or shutter speed. So that is 50 or 100 in my region.
Admiratif pour tout ce travail ! J'ai moi-même un Canon R5 mais je me demande quelle taille aurait la carte CF express pour pouvoir faire ce travail de photographe hybride ?

On a Canon R5 you can program the C3 functions. So my video and photo settings completely differ from each other 😊

Merci 🙏🏽 I use a 256gb on my main camera and a 128gb on my second camera. You can easily shoot a whole day with it.
