- Got a speaker install done today! check it out and learn how to do it yourself. Pretty easy but it is time consuming so make sure you plan to spend possibly a few hours.

I installed this on my 350z, fitted and worked perfectly well!
Couple things I'll add for anyone watching in the future, if you have the tweeters (XR and XRS trims I think), take the main door panel out first. I broke the tweeter cover forcing it out first. Also, when putting the door panel back on, hook it up top near the window first, then snap it in. I spent too long doing the opposite lol
installed a new deck, 4 6.5s, nvx amp, and two 12s in my 2006 Vibe. Very easy job
Super easy, thanks for the info! Saved me some cash
Your welcome!!
Cool vid ! Crazy i live right down the street lol 🤘🏼
Thanks! Small world lol.
You should show the cover of the door installed to see the speakers fits perfectly
Maybe next time. The cover almost fit perfectly. Only 1 of the clips was not able to pop back into place because how thick the speaker is with the speaker cover installed. If you dont install the hard speaker cover then it'll fit perfectly.
thx this video was helpful :)
Glad I was able to help!
Nice. Do you have video from after the work? How do they sound? My driver's side speaker stopped working today. Not sure where the problem is. Deciding to see if a replacement would solve that or not.
I tried to record the sound but its not the same as in person so I didn't upload it here.
That sucks but U can check if its the speaker by just swaping it out with one of the other 3 on the other doors. If it works after swapping it then you'll know it was the speaker that went bad and not a wire somewhere in the car.
The wiring you did in the back was for a separate project right? I do I need to do that wiring to install the speakers?
If your talking about the RCA cables that are colorful then yes those are for a separate project. Those are only needed if your going to install an amplifier and a subwoofer which I will be doing.
When you put the door back together did it fit ? The new speaker looked like it was poking out so the door cover would fit
If you install the hard speaker mesh/cover then the bottom of the door panels will have 2 clips that wont fully clip into the door cuz the speaker will poke out too far. There will be a gap but its at the bottom of the door so you'll never notice it.
I wanted to keep my speakers protected so i added the speaker cover and now have the gap at the bottom.
What are the speaker harness part#&speaker bracket #,for those kicker 6.5in.,coaxial?
I didn't show it in the video? I dont remember what they are but they come free with the speakers when u buy from Crutchfield.
Why wouldn’t you just take the speaker adapter off and run the wires through the notch?
If I remeber correctly the Speaker is too deep and hits the inside of the door if you try to put it on without the plastic adapter.
Can you please link the radio head unit in description please
Sure give me a few minutes
@@MoisesEmpire appreciate you fellow matrix brother💪🏽
Ok I added it and it's still on sale so buy soon. It's $110 off right now.
Can I get a link to the speakers you used
Sure here it is. www.crutchfield.com/p_20646CC654/Kicker-46CSC654.html
Las bocinas son 6x5??
6.5 son redonda
Did you end up wiring a subwoofer and amp in?
Yes I did a 10" kicker sub i got from best buy. Comes on a box already so just plug it in to the amp and good to go.
@@MoisesEmpireoh nice! Are there any issues with the vibration on the plastic? I heard some people saying it vibrated lots
@sailesh_sharma nope
@@sailesh_sharma I installed two 12s in a 2006 vibe, which is the same as the matrix, and if I point the subs to the rear then I get too much rattle. I turned the sub box around to point into the cab and the rattle is minimal now
