I really want to watch this as I watched all of your other Mafia videos... but scary games/movies are a massive weakness of mine like... I don't handle it all that well. I can deal with horror themes/suspense (think your average Silent Hill game or something like Dead by Deadlight), but jumpscares hit me pretty damn hard :/

They ain’t even try to fix this game, they skipped though everything. Even the animation and scripts are all putrid
Such an underrated game. Best voice overs. Best music best stories. I have 3 play throughs of this game.
Mafia III is my favourite game... and story. The one most wonderful thing about this game is this alternative story, after the death of Danny Burke, Sammy Robinson and Ellis. At least this DLC. The other two are just as good, too. All three of them make the story of Lincoln Clay even so much more fascinating and worth watching on this incredible platform we call TH-cam.
For me, it makes things better when it seems far less depressing that Lincoln enters Sammy's bar, even after the tragedy, to investigate the activities of those Esenglante lunatics. And after Anna's death, and Bonnie's demise, Lincoln and his Aunt Lily finally renovate the traumatised bar and make it even better than before, where the Hollow folks start coming in. To me, that's a truly happy ending. One that this game truly needs, I believe.
The DLCs make it worth playing through the story
You dont have to play trough the story. You can start it after the first sitdown.

It even displays a very interesting and somewhat comforting message. You can always take a different path in life from the one you were put on in your earlier life. To me, that's what a DLC seems to mean to me. The story of your life can change, depending on the path you take in life. Personally, I have the creators of this game to thank for helping me see that.

This was my favorite DLC. I actually saw the softer side of Lincoln come out and you can hear the pain when Anne takes her life.

Honestly, it’s nice seeing the game getting some appreciation. Me and my father played the game the whole way through recently, and we loved it immensely. The story, acting, characters, music, setting, and gameplay is just top notch material in my opinion. It’s just a shame about the repetitive nature of the game. Personally, I didn’t mind as I found the combat to be extremely thrilling and competent enough to carry the whole game for me. But I understand why it was a turn off for others. I do believe it could have been even better if a lot of racket missions were structured like the story missions and especially the DLC missions. But what we have here is still a true gem in my eyes, and I would definitely recommend it to folk. It’s especially worth trying these days since the Definitive Edition upgrade is free for all. Anyhoo, great job on the videos and editing my dude, it’s my first time watching your channel and I found you to be quite entertaining. I’ll be sticking around for more content! Peace! ✌️

I am playing this dlc for the first time and I’m shocked haha but it’s so good! Insanely well done compared to most of the side mission and I’d say even some main missions..
This DLC remínded me of the game L.A. Noire from Rockstar Games, the 3 DLC's of Mafia 3 were nicely made compared to the normal story line, why not so in the first place?

2K and Rockstar are owned by the same parent company. The original studio handling Mafia 3 (2K Czech) was dropped after missing a deadline and 2K made a new studio (Hanger 13) to redo the game with a lower budget and less time. The main plot is actually very good, just a ton of padding to make the game feel longer than it actually is.

Sammy's Bar gets absolutely pimped out. If you grew weed thru the Faster Baby DLC you'd have shit tons of cash.
Too bad it gets bulldozed in the future, when Lincoln leaves (canon).

@@7kingly241the “canon” ending of Vito leading the city by his self at that age doesn’t make sense honestly even Sal had underbosses and people controlling parts of the city for him plus he wasn’t wanted dead by a mob family and we know Vito’s empire bay people can’t be trusted like I said before so if Lincoln kills Burke, Cassandra and leaves New Bordeaux to just Vito would he even have enough loyal, notorious, and effective help to run the city with him?🤔 I feel he would more than likely be backstabbed and killed from the inside out like what happened at the beginning of mafia 3 when Lincoln found him in the freezer tied up Sal gave him some control but watched him 24/7 then betrayed him🤷🏾♂️

I know I bitched about the spooky stuff mainly because I had to go to a walkthrough just to find my way around I never wanna be lost or looking for a way in and out so dumb but still this game is a 10/10 and if I have to suffer through this weird bullshit so I can renovate Sammy's so be it

I’ve been trying to install sign of the times for 2 days. I managed to install the 2 other DLCS. Faster baby and stones unturned. I have the mafia trilogy and got the 2 dlcs for free since It was free on the ps store. It’s saying I have installed the sign of times dlc. When I got the 2 other dlcs I had completed the story so since I chose to stay and run the city I couldn’t talk to father James so I couldn’t do the dlc. So I Started a new game. If you have installed one of the dlcs and start a new game then what happens is when the first mission starts then the game tells you that the dlc install worked. When I started I was told that the two dlcs. FASTER BABY. and STONES UNTURNED had installed and once Lincoln has assembled his crew then you have access to the dlcs. However i didn’t get a notification that sign of the times had successfully installed. On the ps store it is saying it is installed but I don’t know if I will be able to play it once I have assembled my crew. if any one knows how I can figure this out please reply and tell me.
