A sprite battle 1v1 between Reimu and Flandre, each character taking advantage of their skills and quirks to face each other.
--Spoilers.. Keep reading after you finish the video-
Based on the personalities and info of each character, I have tried to reflect how they would fight, shown in the video.
For Flandre she has a somewhat playful style and she likes to make things explode with great strength, while Reimu is more serious and prefers a close combat.

Yee.. here's when to enter a headcanon of my own and my sprites series:
She can blow up any object, except living things (nerf lol).

Reminder that the sole purpose of this video is to entertain, I'm not looking to prove anything or start something.
---------My thoughts------
Oh boi, this video was supposed to be something like I always do, a dump 2min joke and that's it, but I ended doing slightly bigger project that took me over a month!!.
It was worth it? naah lol
The first two weeks of creation I was very motivated and had several ideas, but the more I did the animation (in addition to IRL stuff) the more overwhelming it became.
btw it's not the first time i feel like that, big projects are just not my thing, at least not when it's a hobby.
But hey, it feels good to finally release it. There may be some errors with the audio or scenario but I think they are minimal and i´m fairly satisfied with the final video. So after all it worked out
I don't know how well this video will be received but I have low expectations.
At least it will serve to know what type of content to make

Another thing: my software crashed a total of 19 times instead of the expected 30, LETS FAKING GOOO

The skill expressed in this animation is absolutely phenomenal. Arranging something coordinated, dynamic, and this complex with pre-existing sprites is an actual feat and i wish more people saw this video bc it is friggin amazing.
I don't want to hear anyone saying the Touhou community isn't making awesome content again, this is proof there is still breathtaking potential in the fandom.
He definetly had to make new sprites (its still awesome tho)

Ah Touhou, the one series of games where you beat the living shite out of children and have (almost) no serious repercussions afterward. this is how I like to imagine fights actually happen in the touhou universe. Love the dbz sound effects, love the little Mario and Luigi "good great excellent" and I love the use of the Luna nights ost. This was so good!

I think there's a few rules, but I believe one is that abilities can only be used if they are somewhat fair.
The charge Reimu levies for babysitting Flandre must be mind-boggling!😅
This was impressive! O.O Fight projects like this do tend to drag (heh, saw your description, many of us can relate, ESPECIALLY with the multiple software crashing situations! UGH!! X,,,DD). But, with the number of resources used here, I really love how you used them to make it work out! Excellent job overall! :D

I loved the Sephiroth, Omnislash, and Paper Mario references in Flandre’s combo. They all added such a nice touch to a character that’s basically as old as those references. That Subterranean Sun and point blank yin-yang orb (that once blasted Sakuya to space) were unforgettable. I can’t wait to see your next big video!
I think that what you’re referring to as a Paper Mario reference might actually be a Mario and Luigi one. Although there was a Mario and Luigi game with Paper Mario in it.

Thank for making Flandere the actual winner! Becouse of the anime i don't sepect Reimu at all. I do love Marisa MOSTLY from Reimu. Also Flandere is my favourite character from Tohou series (Marisa too), maybe because she actually the one i meet Tohou by.

This is common to happen between the Rivalry Bout with Reimu & Flandre, & given how *Absurdly Busted* she can be with her OP'ed Skillset, *Really Powerful* List of Spells she can cast, & and the fact that should she be beaten? she can just call in a *fully topped* clone copy of herself & just resume the fight while her opponent is overright just *drained completely* or just gives up & dies trying. Reimu wouldn't stand a chance against her but she's *shown & proven* to keep up & outlast her though. 😐
