One criticism: The characters don't seem to be taking any battle damage and Shadow's transformations only seem to give him a temporary advantage. The lack of proper escalation is a common issue I see in sprite animations. Characters constantly no sell each other's attacks until one of them pulls off a big combo that suddenly gives them the win. The best way to resolve this would've been to have Shadow's base form struggle to hold his own only to turn the tide with his numerous transformations. Everything else was fucking STELLAR. Amazing job, really!

I think this is the first sprite animation where I actually see Sakuya lose for once. Other than that, this is easily one of my favorite videos you made.
The opponent: can time stop, can alter reality, revive people, has an spiritual companion that can destroy buildings also can reach light speed, has regeneration and provocated an distortion to multiple timelines. Sans: lmao 1v1 noob

Shadow was easily winning this, his speed in base was already going to give Sakuya trouble, in conjunction with his chaos abilities which involve sealing, revival, time travel, time manipulation, etc. Sakuya was going to have a lot to deal with just with base Shadow. Now Super Shadow is where for me the battle ends. His abilities are increased to extreme amounts and he can tap into more of the limitless/unlimited power of the chaos emeralds. Sakuya could fight well, but it takes more than a time stopping maid to beat Shadow the Hedgehog. Great Animation!
Sakuya would actually stomp base shadow becuz she have inf speed, but super shadow have immeasurable speed and resist time hax so super should be enough. Shadow without limiters would be overkill though.

Chaos Powers are way different than how Touhou's battle system works, not to mention Shadow scales to Sonic who can run to the end of an infinite hallway (SATSR), ran out of an dimension where nothing exists, (Sonic Forces) and even ran fast enough to fix a timeline

Never would I have ever even considered the possibility of this as a fight. And I have to say you have outdone yourself once again. You have become one of my favorite fight animators and I hope that you grow even more. You deserve it. This was hard for me as I'm a fan of both characters, but this was amazing. I really feel that this is a match that could have gone either way. I really hope that you end up doing more Touhou fights in the future. The sprite animation is truly so nice and fluid to look at.
Just everything bout this,the battle damage details,the moments to sell big impactful blows,the use of all their moves(ESPECIALLY LIGHTSPEED DASH), and an ending where all went all out at a proper time is great!
I've heard wild stuff from the Sonic franchise so I knew Sakuya was screwed the moment Shadow got the Chaos Emeralds. What I was not expecting was Sakuya forcing him to use a form I've never seen but she still got owned. Ascended DIO is still messing around as usual... Oh, and the SDM was probably blown up during so this video is canon compliant.
An entertaining battle between the "Elegant" and "Perfect" maid and the Ultimate Life Form. Sakuya may've had the advantage over *time itself,* but Shadow is *directly connected* to the Chaos Emeralds, a set of gems with near unlimited power. The result was clear even before the battle began. Allow me to explain the origins for what ability/abilities Shadow used near the tail end of the fight. In the game *Shadow The Hedgehog* there are two meters that build up slowly from doing various actions. By attacking G.U.N. soldiers, destroying the environment, reviving Eggman's machines and fallen Black Arms Soldiers and Collecting Dark Energy Cores, Shadow's Dark Gauge fills up, while throughout the course of the Sonic franchise and it's fanbase, Shadow has been depicted to remove his Inhibitor Rings to power himself up in desperate situations. What is seen in this fight is a combination between Dark Super Shadow (seen in Shadow The Hedgehog via Last Story) and Shadow using a variation of *Chaos Boost* without his Inhibitor Rings. The Super Forms give *near perfect invulnerability,* while Dark Mode and Hero Mode give even more invulnerability on top of infinite ammo for any guns Shadow has on his person. Chaos Boost is what the name implies, a boost using Chaos Energy. In the game Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) it has 3 levels each one give Shadow access to more of his powers, obviously such a thing got scrapped for a sprite animation. Sakuya should've just inquired *why* Shadow needed the gemstone but instead chose violence, considering some variations of Gensokyo are prone to Danmaku battles literally every 2 minutes/seconds I can kinda see why. And while I do like Sakuya, it's nice seeing Shadow get a well deserved W. I imagine some of the SDM residents (aside from Koakuma) were shocked to see a *Crimson Red Blur* speeding through the mansion while ramming into Sakuya with enough force to kill a few dozen G.U.N. Soldiers.
i haven’t talked to sakuya in a while… actually never, but can’t she just undo everything? or just erase the time any of this happened? the chaos emeralds have unlimited power, but is that power fully unlocked or even tolerable to begin with? i’ve only played the classic sonic games so i don’t know much about shadow…
@@reallife_touhoujunko8203 Shadow was made by Professor Gerald Robotnik and Black Doom. The former wanted to make Shadow the ultimate cure and defender for Earth, while the latter wanted Shadow to be the ultimate weapon for the Black Arms. Due to Shadow's origins being tied to a race of bloodthirsty aliens he has slightly more control over the Chaos Emeralds than Sonic does, the Black Arms, more specifically, Black Doom, knew how to use multiple variations of Chaos Control and gave said knowledge to Shadow which makes him far more dangerous due to a Chaos Control either with all seven Emeralds or in a Super Form being capable of warping planetoids and planetoid-like structures like comets and space stations. If Shadow wanted to he could've knocked Sakuya out briefly and warped her to a completely different location outside of Gensokyo, Chaos Control is *that* broken. Doesn't help that if two users use Chaos Control at the same time they can time travel at will.
Been quite some time since Ive seen anything from you Igot but you've definitely been busy. This was a Phenomenal work dude. A really fast paced battle but its just slow enough to know whats going on. Also I like how Shadow kept his Light Speed Attack until he said "Bang!", just like in Sonic Adventure 2. Anyways, keep at it dude and continue this giant over arching story.

Also from what I've from Tou Hou characters by watchinv you, it seems like they're more haz oriented rather than pure strength, speed etc. Though I might be wrong.

I don’t believe it, Shadow acts in character when confronting Dio (caring about the safety of his world). Seeing Sans at the SDM was interesting considering Sakuya vs Sans ending with him dying (if I remember correctly). Although seeing Sans challenge Dio was pretty funny, like what is he even going to do? The fight was amazing as always and once again, the animation quality increases with every upload Edit: I went back watched some of the older animations and I saw in one of them, Yukari teleported Sans out of Undertale, so I’m guessing this is the same continuity as that one?

I mean funny enough fandom is nuts, and gave some alternate versions of the same characters with more op abilities, if the animator really wanted to he could pick one of those au's to fight dio oh to make a more balanced fight, but dio oh still has the win but it would be more hard for him, a comon example that they could pick to buff him a bit would be his last breath version which ik is fanon but dio oh is not confirmed to be canon nor uncanon
Sakuya do be bad ass whether she wins or loses. I love how Shadow gets pushed more and more, same for Sakuya. Yes best maid may have lost and died, but then again. I loved the choreography of this entire battle, the usage of time paradox was amazing. Love that Sakuya fought to the end and Shadow acting so in character. Greatoni animation 20/10. Who will beat World over Heaven Dio, who knows?

I don't think she necessarily died here. She got her ass beat but not death. It isn't said what version of Shadow he is using, but for now, I am going to assume we are using Game Shadow. Sakuya has demonstrated the ability to tank Marisa's Master Spar which is a Large Mountai level. Base Shadow with Chaos Blast I would say is around small-town level. I am not sure what the multiplier for Inhibitor Removed shadow + Super Form is, but I am going to a high ball and say 200X. To destroy a Large mountain requires 6.064e16 cm^3 Joules of force. If my calculations are correct this Chaos Blast would be between Large City to Mountain level. So she can survive this attack. It is even hinted twice that she survived this "You should worry about that Maid over there." or "That left a mark, or two, or three." In the end we even see Sakuya's arm. Now it is still hard to tell if said arm isn't just severed, or still attached, we never got to see the damage done to Sakuya, but given my Information she is still in one piece. Plus I think Shadow would actually state if she died or not, or Sans. Another reason I think she survived this battle is because the Scarlet Devil Mansion isn't far from the blast location, I am sure Patchouli could whip up a Healing spell or something to assist in Sakuya's recovery. Or Remilia could use Fate Manipulation to make her survive. Lets be honest to, sans is nice enough to TP her to the SDC, and Remilia would want to investigate the big ass Explosion that happened in her backyard. Lastly, if she can tank large mountain level attacks the why couldn't she tank this, you may ask? It is simple, over the course of battle Sakuya has taken damage and lost Stamina. I believe she was simply too weak to dodge the attack and given she was on her last leg anyway, that attack was enough to K.O her. In conclusion: Sakuya would have likely survived the explosion with Severe Injuries (However I am not the person who did this battle and is running the story so it is up to him is she actually survived or not).
I normally don't comment much on sprite animations but HOLY- I was not expecting to see Heaven Ascension Dio ever speak to Shadow the Hedgehog and Sans over Sakuya's body lmao. Great work though, top notch animation and I can't wait to see the finale 🔥
The sound design paired with the battle effects leaves me with such a feeling of satisfaction after every single hit. This is especially true whenever Sakuya launches projectiles in the air; it creates an incredible visual spectacle (3:35). I also appreciate the detail of Sakuya using her spellcard from SWR (1:54). You said this took you a long time to edit and I believe it. Yet I respect a content creator that uploads a few times a year and puts out works of this quality. Thank you for your hard work!
I mean, Chaos Control can stop time but Sakuya's ability isn't just to stop time. She can erase time, like King Crimson, speed up time, like Pucci, slow it down, trap a person in a time stop temporarily (while everything else moves), accelerate and decelerate objects from a snail's pace to as fast as light, and has erased attacks (not people as far as I know) from existence. She is also completely able to resist time manipulation, which was proven when she faced Keine who is stated to be able to use a spell card which can reverse time, so she could easily interact within Chaos Control. She also can fly through Kaguya's infinite corridor in a short time, which could be because her time manipulation, but again, it's an infinite corridor. All in all though, good animation, was made just for fun I'm guessing, not entirely made to be a realistic battle scenario like Death Battle (I guess) or Cartoon Fight Club.
yeah, but that wouldn’t make the fight fun, and honestly half of that shit isn’t balanced in the slightest so it’s best to just keep it at time slowing, stopping and creation of shadow clones
@@KyonSOSBrigad3 Chaos Control can't reverse or speed up time, nor can it trap someone in time, as far as Sega has shown. It can allow the user to traverse time-space via teleportation (up to multiple people), portal creation, and slowing down time so fast that Sonic is moving slowly. Saying Chaos Control can completely stop time is highballing it, and guess what? I'm fine with that. However, Sakuya is comparable to Reimu, who can beat her master Remilia, and who beat an immortal being by being so strong that she did so much damage to her that she couldn't fight anymore (Mokou). Hell, Remilia beat Yukari Yakumo once, and Sakuya is roughly comparable to her. Also, she herself has been a playable character in numerous games and due to that, the previous claim is possible as she has beaten Yukari's shikigami, Ran Yakumo in the extra stage of Perfect Cherry Blossom. Touhou characters are absolute powerhouses, and Sakuya isn't a slouch within the ranks of these powerhouses. Her range and precision are insane, her stamina is completely whack, having fought an entire day during Perfect Cherry Blossom, and having to do multiple tasks by herself in the Scarlet Devil Mansion (even if her time stop abilities help with that). In my last comment about her abilities, I had completely skimmed over two details about said abilities. Those details are Rapid Age Acceleration and Existence Erasure, and that can supposedly negate durability. Now, whether this is enough to negate Super Shadow's durability or not would be up for debate, but there's also the fact that Super Shadow needs rings to maintain the form, a fact that many sprite animators tend to leave out, which is understandable as the fight would be more of a game of tag with Sonic or Shadow trying to get more rings before the form runs out and their opponent ass blasts them. Point is, this is made for fun, and for plot driven purposes, but on a realistic standpoint, Sakuya would win. This wouldn't be a "you brought a knife to a gun fight" thing, it would be a "Oh you thought your gem is whack, well I got a clock that's even more whack." Shadow wouldn't have as many options as Sakuya, nor would his Super Form last as long to beat Sakuya, and hell, even if we bring Hyper Form in, that runs the rings dry about twice as fast as Super Form, and Sakuya could easily play keep away with her ranged attacks, stop time to prevent suffering any significant injuries, and, if we highball it, completely negate Shadow's durability with rapid aging and erasing his existence. The only chance Shadow has is to take off his Inhibitor Rings, which he does with Super Form in this vid, but even that is just as effective as using Super Saiyan with Kaioken, and having the Super Saiyan form have a time limit. That's going to leave him worn out as taking off his Inhibitor Rings easily causes his energy to be drained afterwards. Once that wears off, he is a sitting duck. One final thing to mention, apparently when teamed up with Sonic in their Super Forms, he is Universe Level + but by himself he's Small Star Level+ which...doesn't make sense. I'd say he's either Small Star Level+ lowball and Small Universe Level+ highball (the pluses are without the Inhibitor Rings)
@@grimgamer0527 SEVERAL things to point out here: -Chaos Control HAS stopped time before! It's happened TWICE! Once as one of Shadow's Abilities in SA2 Multilayer and multiple times during Metal Overlord's Fight. -Shadow has control over Chaos Energy even without any of the Emeralds, meaning that he's able to use Chaos Control without a single Emerald. And without his Inhibitor Rings, Shadow's power can be compared to a single Emerald. And just one, ONE EMERALD was enough to MOVE A MASSIVE CHUNK OF THE EARTH!!! Also here's a quote directly from 06: "Don't bother. With the Chaos Emerald's power i control time and space, you can't break free." And keep in mind that Shadow was referring to just ONE Emerald when he said that to Silver. And given how Shadow can use Chaos Energy and Chaos Control even WITHOUT the Emeralds.... You can figure out the rest. -Sonic, Shadow and Silver defeated a 4th Dimensional God called "Solaris" in their Super Forms. Solaris has been described as a "Transcendent Life Form that exists in the Past, Present and Future" and has been stated to "Eat Dimensions for Lunch". And yet Sonic, Shadow and Silver beat it (which is impressive in and of itself given how Solaris is a 4D Being, possibly even higher). And if you're gonna use the excuse of Shadow needing help for that, keep in mind that Today's Modern Shadow is much more powerful and experienced than 06 Shadow and that has been proven many times over, so Shadow beating Solaris on his own nowadays isn't too far out of the question. -Chaos Control has more lesser known abilities like Clone Creation and Healing and given how fast Shadow is and how he's immune to Time Stopping thanks to his Chaos Energy, it'll be hard for Sakuya to keep Shadow still even in Base

Im curious to see how this could have changed if she had used her other ability's as well. Not only is she able to stop time and create time clones of herself, but she can bring objects in from other timelines, bend space however she feels fit (I mean, she literally uses it to make the inside of the scarlet mansion bigger doctor who style), as well as stop, slow, and erase (not jojo erase, more like she resets the positions of everything back to a select point, but not their state, so its not reversing time as a broken pot would still be broken and shadow would still be in whatever form he was in) and control the state of time for specific people in and out of stopped time. Im not saying that she would have won if she did these things, but i feel like at the most it would end in a draw, Sakuya bringing it there by erasing time so as to prevent shadow from getting near or able to coherently attack. Unfortunately there is not much you can do when it comes to Archie shadow, the dude has survived much much more then a few knives without a scratch (There is nother special about the knives, they are just made of silver). This matchup was the equvilant of any deathbattle involving a marvel / dc hero vs an anime character. The anime character could be more faviourited by the audiance, but the scales used in comics are so non-chalant that exxaderations are taken litteraly and suddenly a character that is seemingly normal now can go millions of times faster then the speed of light. All in all though, loved the animation and the fight was entertaining to watch. Came into it expecting ingame shadow, left with archie shadow.
@@tierghan5433 Touhou characters are pretty insane, but the ones that are conceptual in nature like Yukari are really the only ones that can't be defeated under normal circumstances. If you wanted to beat them, you'd usually have to write a story designed to build up to that loss through creativity and making full use of the power system. Sakuya is practically immune to brute force, but Shadow has more than brute force. The powers that he draws on, both through his body and through the chaos emeralds, is basically if the Speed Force was made out of wish power, and is suited very well for time and space manipulation. The Super form draws upon that limitless magic and the wishes of the user, and then Shadow's limiting rings being taken off is basically just an explosive modifier to that. Compared to that, you need some pretty insultingly potent abilities to deal with it. Things on Yukari's level or other conceptual levels, and DIO Over Heaven if he's careful and can think of the right changes to make quick enough. I think the only 'normal' tier ability that a character like Shadow should be worried about is magic negation, since that's what the super form is. I guess mind manipulation too, if you take some liberties.
@@Hyperjade1 ngl, bringing yukari to a fight is a sure win. She has some ridiculous abilities even outside her border manipulation, and that on its own is enough to auto win any fight.
@@tierghan5433 I'm pretty sure that's why Igot-br put her against an Umineko character with a weapon that could hurt concepts, which is probably the only video that kind of skipped the nuance, but as far as I can tell, that's because the nuance of that fight can't actually be made into a fight scene. A real fight between Yukari and that Dlanor chick wouldn't involve any attacks at all, and Yukari's too sharp to go against a concept cutting sword like the Red Key. And even if Dlanor could actually hurt Yukari, the concept Yukari represents is too significant. Destroying her in any real way would involve destroying literally everything else.
I know there was a lot of brute force in this episode, but I like that your videos, including this one, focus on how powers work rather than putting powerscaling first like even Death Battle is foolish enough to do these days. Keep doing good work!

I just wanted to say that this fight was really fricken amazing! Like, this was crazy good. For the battle itself, I believe this is archie shadow being used which yeah, fair enough. Once shadow reaches chaos form there's not much Sakuya can do. Before chaos form, she can put up a fight, and had the speed and hax to do so, being able to match Shadow's universal levels of power, but once those inhibitor rings came off, it was over. Multiversal power is just too much.
I think its game shadow so both is uni+, but he still win anyway becuz super form resist time hax and have better speed than her. Sakuya could win if shadow is only in base form tho.
I dont think Archie versions are fair.. The dude is like, casually universal+ in base. Then without the rings he's Low Complex Multiversal/5D, that power alone is above anybody in the 2hu-verse. And damn, the dude's got some crazy speed scaling. Massively FTL+ in base, to Immeasurable speed both without rings and Super Form. Archie version is no-no. And add in chaos energy? Oof. Game versions would be a fairer match-up.
"Wow I didn't expect Sakuya to lose" I mean, you gotta even out the wins and loss eventually. Sakuya already won 2 fights before this, if she had won a 3rd time, everything would be too predictable at that point.
This was expected tbh. Well if you really knew anything about Game sonic characters powers and capabilities, Shadow alone could take down the entire main sonic cast without a single Emerald. In speed, outclasses her by a landslide, In power he could match the power of a single emerald with his inhibitor rings off. But I guess she could put up somewhat of a fight. Her abilities share some resemblances to Shadow's and makes her a compatible opponent.
Unfortunately there is no way to make a real comparation of power between Touhou and Sonic characters, that's because Touhou characters have a base, and their power is something with a solid base and their characters seem very limited because of the spellcards rules, of course that there are some exeptions (I'm looking at you Yukari), in the other hand there is the sonic universe, who's characters have a base as solid as a flan, they just have the power they need depending of the need of the story, happening that sometimes they get power from nowhere. Is for this that I always think that is imposible to compare the power of 2 characters that are from different sagas exept if these sagas have a very similar base. Pd: I don't say that Sakuya should have win, Shadow is just stupidly broken (as well as Sonic).
Not to mention that using VSbattle powerscale in Touhou isn't that consistent as the verse is described to be an Au of our wolrd, therefor physic and knowledge is the only logic appliable when it comes to debating in Touhou. For now verses like DC, Marvel, and SCP is confirmed to stomp Touhou as they fulfill the conditions of irl logic, not sure about Sonic because it's pretty much game logic.

Here is a fun fact, Sakuya can not kill canon Sonic as he is so fast he can move in stopped time and he was punched throw one end of the univarse to another, impacted and did not take damage. That was in his base form, he also has three transformations...

Estaba seguro que Shadow le ganaria a Sakuya, la unica manera en que la veia ganando es con ayuda de un tercero como alguna de las maquinaciones de Yukari o los poderes de controlar el destino de Remilia. A pesar de la diferencia de poder fue realmente una muy buena batalla, me alegra ver a Sakuya en una verdadera pelea (sin ofender a Dio o sus fanboys, que yo tambien lo amo, pero honestamente el no es para nada tan fuerte como Sakuya u otros personajes). Bastante interesado en como se desenvuelve esta historia que estas haciendo, quedo ansioso de poder ver tus futuros trabajos, y si la vida es amable, tal vez alguna animacion de Yukari.
Chaos distorts Fate. It's not really possible for Remilia to do much. Yukari, though, has some very effective abilities that could turn the tide in Sakuya's favor. Dio showing up was a surprise.

The definite alright I'm willing to see this I don't overly care about power scaling because wfrom what I've heard from Touhou fans these characters are not like unbeatable but even some of the strongest are gonna lose apparently to even the lower tiers like first bosses in weaker games can apparently mess up most of the chars I know.

Extraordinary animation, as usual. The combat flows well, and the combos remain creative and retain their powerful feel. I absolutely loved 1:48! This comment was originally going to be about how Sakuya should win due to several factors such as her ability to make knives exist in the past, present and future, her ability to summon a (seemingly) unlimited amount of Sakuyas from other dimensions, and because of the fact that Sakuya can erase Shadow from existance outright. However, I learned that Shadow has immesurable speed. Sorry Touhou fans, but Shadow wins this battle before it even starts. (If he starts in his Super form, that is.) Anyway, keep up the great work Igot! :)

Another amazing animation, I really like these. It's pretty accurately done as well. The only smallest thing is I'm pretty sure shadow's time stop even works on those with time stop resist, but even I'm not sure how many resistances sakuya has to it since it's possible to have many. This was an amazing fight, but there was a bit too much shaky-cam for my liking. It made it harder to understand what was happening rather than making the scene more dynamic.

One criticism: The characters don't seem to be taking any battle damage and Shadow's transformations only seem to give him a temporary advantage. The lack of proper escalation is a common issue I see in sprite animations. Characters constantly no sell each other's attacks until one of them pulls off a big combo that suddenly gives them the win. The best way to resolve this would've been to have Shadow's base form struggle to hold his own only to turn the tide with his numerous transformations.

Shadow was easily winning this, his speed in base was already going to give Sakuya trouble, in conjunction with his chaos abilities which involve sealing, revival, time travel, time manipulation, etc. Sakuya was going to have a lot to deal with just with base Shadow. Now Super Shadow is where for me the battle ends. His abilities are increased to extreme amounts and he can tap into more of the limitless/unlimited power of the chaos emeralds. Sakuya could fight well, but it takes more than a time stopping maid to beat Shadow the Hedgehog. Great Animation!

Never would I have ever even considered the possibility of this as a fight. And I have to say you have outdone yourself once again. You have become one of my favorite fight animators and I hope that you grow even more. You deserve it. This was hard for me as I'm a fan of both characters, but this was amazing. I really feel that this is a match that could have gone either way.
I really hope that you end up doing more Touhou fights in the future. The sprite animation is truly so nice and fluid to look at.
Just everything bout this,the battle damage details,the moments to sell big impactful blows,the use of all their moves(ESPECIALLY LIGHTSPEED DASH), and an ending where all went all out at a proper time is great!

An entertaining battle between the "Elegant" and "Perfect" maid and the Ultimate Life Form.
Sakuya may've had the advantage over *time itself,* but Shadow is *directly connected* to the Chaos Emeralds, a set of gems with near unlimited power. The result was clear even before the battle began.
Allow me to explain the origins for what ability/abilities Shadow used near the tail end of the fight. In the game *Shadow The Hedgehog* there are two meters that build up slowly from doing various actions. By attacking G.U.N. soldiers, destroying the environment, reviving Eggman's machines and fallen Black Arms Soldiers and Collecting Dark Energy Cores, Shadow's Dark Gauge fills up, while throughout the course of the Sonic franchise and it's fanbase, Shadow has been depicted to remove his Inhibitor Rings to power himself up in desperate situations. What is seen in this fight is a combination between Dark Super Shadow (seen in Shadow The Hedgehog via Last Story) and Shadow using a variation of *Chaos Boost* without his Inhibitor Rings. The Super Forms give *near perfect invulnerability,* while Dark Mode and Hero Mode give even more invulnerability on top of infinite ammo for any guns Shadow has on his person. Chaos Boost is what the name implies, a boost using Chaos Energy. In the game Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) it has 3 levels each one give Shadow access to more of his powers, obviously such a thing got scrapped for a sprite animation.
Sakuya should've just inquired *why* Shadow needed the gemstone but instead chose violence, considering some variations of Gensokyo are prone to Danmaku battles literally every 2 minutes/seconds I can kinda see why. And while I do like Sakuya, it's nice seeing Shadow get a well deserved W.
I imagine some of the SDM residents (aside from Koakuma) were shocked to see a *Crimson Red Blur* speeding through the mansion while ramming into Sakuya with enough force to kill a few dozen G.U.N. Soldiers.
i haven’t talked to sakuya in a while… actually never, but can’t she just undo everything? or just erase the time any of this happened? the chaos emeralds have unlimited power, but is that power fully unlocked or even tolerable to begin with? i’ve only played the classic sonic games so i don’t know much about shadow…
if sakuya can’t undo things or erase things from time then yeah shadow would’ve won for sure even if the chaos emeralds couldn’t be fully accessed.

The former wanted to make Shadow the ultimate cure and defender for Earth, while the latter wanted Shadow to be the ultimate weapon for the Black Arms.
Due to Shadow's origins being tied to a race of bloodthirsty aliens he has slightly more control over the Chaos Emeralds than Sonic does, the Black Arms, more specifically, Black Doom, knew how to use multiple variations of Chaos Control and gave said knowledge to Shadow which makes him far more dangerous due to a Chaos Control either with all seven Emeralds or in a Super Form being capable of warping planetoids and planetoid-like structures like comets and space stations.
If Shadow wanted to he could've knocked Sakuya out briefly and warped her to a completely different location outside of Gensokyo, Chaos Control is *that* broken. Doesn't help that if two users use Chaos Control at the same time they can time travel at will.

This is one of the good and most sought out sprite animation I was looking for. Good fight and well presented for each characters.
Been quite some time since Ive seen anything from you Igot but you've definitely been busy. This was a Phenomenal work dude. A really fast paced battle but its just slow enough to know whats going on. Also I like how Shadow kept his Light Speed Attack until he said "Bang!", just like in Sonic Adventure 2. Anyways, keep at it dude and continue this giant over arching story.

I don’t believe it, Shadow acts in character when confronting Dio (caring about the safety of his world). Seeing Sans at the SDM was interesting considering Sakuya vs Sans ending with him dying (if I remember correctly). Although seeing Sans challenge Dio was pretty funny, like what is he even going to do?

Sakuya do be bad ass whether she wins or loses. I love how Shadow gets pushed more and more, same for Sakuya. Yes best maid may have lost and died, but then again. I loved the choreography of this entire battle, the usage of time paradox was amazing. Love that Sakuya fought to the end and Shadow acting so in character. Greatoni animation 20/10. I don't think she necessarily died here. She got her ass beat but not death. It isn't said what version of Shadow he is using, but for now, I am going to assume we are using Game Shadow. Sakuya has demonstrated the ability to tank Marisa's Master Spar which is a Large Mountai level. Base Shadow with Chaos Blast I would say is around small-town level. I am not sure what the multiplier for Inhibitor Removed shadow + Super Form is, but I am going to a high ball and say 200X. To destroy a Large mountain requires 6.064e16 cm^3 Joules of force. If my calculations are correct this Chaos Blast would be between Large City to Mountain level. So she can survive this attack.
It is even hinted twice that she survived this "You should worry about that Maid over there." or "That left a mark, or two, or three." In the end we even see Sakuya's arm. Now it is still hard to tell if said arm isn't just severed, or still attached, we never got to see the damage done to Sakuya, but given my Information she is still in one piece. Plus I think Shadow would actually state if she died or not, or Sans. Another reason I think she survived this battle is because the Scarlet Devil Mansion isn't far from the blast location, I am sure Patchouli could whip up a Healing spell or something to assist in Sakuya's recovery. Or Remilia could use Fate Manipulation to make her survive. Lets be honest to, sans is nice enough to TP her to the SDC, and Remilia would want to investigate the big ass Explosion that happened in her backyard. Lastly, if she can tank large mountain level attacks the why couldn't she tank this, you may ask? It is simple, over the course of battle Sakuya has taken damage and lost Stamina. I believe she was simply too weak to dodge the attack and given she was on her last leg anyway, that attack was enough to K.O her.
In conclusion: Sakuya would have likely survived the explosion with Severe Injuries (However I am not the person who did this battle and is running the story so it is up to him is she actually survived or not).

The sound design paired with the battle effects leaves me with such a feeling of satisfaction after every single hit. This is especially true whenever Sakuya launches projectiles in the air; it creates an incredible visual spectacle (3:35). I also appreciate the detail of Sakuya using her spellcard from SWR (1:54). You said this took you a long time to edit and I believe it. Yet I respect a content creator that uploads a few times a year and puts out works of this quality. Thank you for your hard work!

I mean, Chaos Control can stop time but Sakuya's ability isn't just to stop time. She can erase time, like King Crimson, speed up time, like Pucci, slow it down, trap a person in a time stop temporarily (while everything else moves), accelerate and decelerate objects from a snail's pace to as fast as light, and has erased attacks (not people as far as I know) from existence. She is also completely able to resist time manipulation, which was proven when she faced Keine who is stated to be able to use a spell card which can reverse time, so she could easily interact within Chaos Control. She also can fly through Kaguya's infinite corridor in a short time, which could be because her time manipulation, but again, it's an infinite corridor.
All in all though, good animation, was made just for fun I'm guessing, not entirely made to be a realistic battle scenario like Death Battle (I guess) or Cartoon Fight Club.

@@KyonSOSBrigad3 Chaos Control can't reverse or speed up time, nor can it trap someone in time, as far as Sega has shown. It can allow the user to traverse time-space via teleportation (up to multiple people), portal creation, and slowing down time so fast that Sonic is moving slowly. Saying Chaos Control can completely stop time is highballing it, and guess what? I'm fine with that.
However, Sakuya is comparable to Reimu, who can beat her master Remilia, and who beat an immortal being by being so strong that she did so much damage to her that she couldn't fight anymore (Mokou). Hell, Remilia beat Yukari Yakumo once, and Sakuya is roughly comparable to her. Also, she herself has been a playable character in numerous games and due to that, the previous claim is possible as she has beaten Yukari's shikigami, Ran Yakumo in the extra stage of Perfect Cherry Blossom.
Touhou characters are absolute powerhouses, and Sakuya isn't a slouch within the ranks of these powerhouses. Her range and precision are insane, her stamina is completely whack, having fought an entire day during Perfect Cherry Blossom, and having to do multiple tasks by herself in the Scarlet Devil Mansion (even if her time stop abilities help with that). In my last comment about her abilities, I had completely skimmed over two details about said abilities. Those details are Rapid Age Acceleration and Existence Erasure, and that can supposedly negate durability. Now, whether this is enough to negate Super Shadow's durability or not would be up for debate, but there's also the fact that Super Shadow needs rings to maintain the form, a fact that many sprite animators tend to leave out, which is understandable as the fight would be more of a game of tag with Sonic or Shadow trying to get more rings before the form runs out and their opponent ass blasts them. Point is, this is made for fun, and for plot driven purposes, but on a realistic standpoint, Sakuya would win. This wouldn't be a "you brought a knife to a gun fight" thing, it would be a "Oh you thought your gem is whack, well I got a clock that's even more whack." Shadow wouldn't have as many options as Sakuya, nor would his Super Form last as long to beat Sakuya, and hell, even if we bring Hyper Form in, that runs the rings dry about twice as fast as Super Form, and Sakuya could easily play keep away with her ranged attacks, stop time to prevent suffering any significant injuries, and, if we highball it, completely negate Shadow's durability with rapid aging and erasing his existence. The only chance Shadow has is to take off his Inhibitor Rings, which he does with Super Form in this vid, but even that is just as effective as using Super Saiyan with Kaioken, and having the Super Saiyan form have a time limit. That's going to leave him worn out as taking off his Inhibitor Rings easily causes his energy to be drained afterwards. Once that wears off, he is a sitting duck.
One final thing to mention, apparently when teamed up with Sonic in their Super Forms, he is Universe Level + but by himself he's Small Star Level+ which...doesn't make sense. I'd say he's either Small Star Level+ lowball and Small Universe Level+ highball (the pluses are without the Inhibitor Rings)

SEVERAL things to point out here:
-Chaos Control HAS stopped time before! It's happened TWICE! Once as one of Shadow's Abilities in SA2 Multilayer and multiple times during Metal Overlord's Fight.
-Shadow has control over Chaos Energy even without any of the Emeralds, meaning that he's able to use Chaos Control without a single Emerald. And without his Inhibitor Rings, Shadow's power can be compared to a single Emerald. And just one, ONE EMERALD was enough to MOVE A MASSIVE CHUNK OF THE EARTH!!!
Also here's a quote directly from 06:
"Don't bother. With the Chaos Emerald's power i control time and space, you can't break free."
And keep in mind that Shadow was referring to just ONE Emerald when he said that to Silver. And given how Shadow can use Chaos Energy and Chaos Control even WITHOUT the Emeralds.... You can figure out the rest.
-Sonic, Shadow and Silver defeated a 4th Dimensional God called "Solaris" in their Super Forms. Solaris has been described as a "Transcendent Life Form that exists in the Past, Present and Future" and has been stated to "Eat Dimensions for Lunch". And yet Sonic, Shadow and Silver beat it (which is impressive in and of itself given how Solaris is a 4D Being, possibly even higher). And if you're gonna use the excuse of Shadow needing help for that, keep in mind that Today's Modern Shadow is much more powerful and experienced than 06 Shadow and that has been proven many times over, so Shadow beating Solaris on his own nowadays isn't too far out of the question.
-Chaos Control has more lesser known abilities like Clone Creation and Healing and given how fast Shadow is and how he's immune to Time Stopping thanks to his Chaos Energy, it'll be hard for Sakuya to keep Shadow still even in Base

Im curious to see how this could have changed if she had used her other ability's as well. Not only is she able to stop time and create time clones of herself, but she can bring objects in from other timelines, bend space however she feels fit (I mean, she literally uses it to make the inside of the scarlet mansion bigger doctor who style), as well as stop, slow, and erase (not jojo erase, more like she resets the positions of everything back to a select point, but not their state, so its not reversing time as a broken pot would still be broken and shadow would still be in whatever form he was in) and control the state of time for specific people in and out of stopped time.
Im not saying that she would have won if she did these things, but i feel like at the most it would end in a draw, Sakuya bringing it there by erasing time so as to prevent shadow from getting near or able to coherently attack. Unfortunately there is not much you can do when it comes to Archie shadow, the dude has survived much much more then a few knives without a scratch (There is nother special about the knives, they are just made of silver). This matchup was the equvilant of any deathbattle involving a marvel / dc hero vs an anime character. The anime character could be more faviourited by the audiance, but the scales used in comics are so non-chalant that exxaderations are taken litteraly and suddenly a character that is seemingly normal now can go millions of times faster then the speed of light.
All in all though, loved the animation and the fight was entertaining to watch. Came into it expecting ingame shadow, left with archie shadow.
Archie pretty much solos Touhou, it would be unfair to include them.

@@tierghan5433 Touhou characters are pretty insane, but the ones that are conceptual in nature like Yukari are really the only ones that can't be defeated under normal circumstances. If you wanted to beat them, you'd usually have to write a story designed to build up to that loss through creativity and making full use of the power system. Sakuya is practically immune to brute force, but Shadow has more than brute force. The powers that he draws on, both through his body and through the chaos emeralds, is basically if the Speed Force was made out of wish power, and is suited very well for time and space manipulation. The Super form draws upon that limitless magic and the wishes of the user, and then Shadow's limiting rings being taken off is basically just an explosive modifier to that. Compared to that, you need some pretty insultingly potent abilities to deal with it. Things on Yukari's level or other conceptual levels, and DIO Over Heaven if he's careful and can think of the right changes to make quick enough.
I think the only 'normal' tier ability that a character like Shadow should be worried about is magic negation, since that's what the super form is. I guess mind manipulation too, if you take some liberties.
@@Hyperjade1 ngl, bringing yukari to a fight is a sure win. She has some ridiculous abilities even outside her border manipulation, and that on its own is enough to auto win any fight.
@@tierghan5433 I'm pretty sure that's why Igot-br put her against an Umineko character with a weapon that could hurt concepts, which is probably the only video that kind of skipped the nuance, but as far as I can tell, that's because the nuance of that fight can't actually be made into a fight scene. A real fight between Yukari and that Dlanor chick wouldn't involve any attacks at all, and Yukari's too sharp to go against a concept cutting sword like the Red Key. And even if Dlanor could actually hurt Yukari, the concept Yukari represents is too significant. Destroying her in any real way would involve destroying literally everything else.
I know there was a lot of brute force in this episode, but I like that your videos, including this one, focus on how powers work rather than putting powerscaling first like even Death Battle is foolish enough to do these days. Keep doing good work!

I just wanted to say that this fight was really fricken amazing! Like, this was crazy good.
For the battle itself, I believe this is archie shadow being used which yeah, fair enough. Once shadow reaches chaos form there's not much Sakuya can do. Before chaos form, she can put up a fight, and had the speed and hax to do so, being able to match Shadow's universal levels of power, but once those inhibitor rings came off, it was over. Multiversal power is just too much.

This was expected tbh. Well if you really knew anything about Game sonic characters powers and capabilities, Shadow alone could take down the entire main sonic cast without a single Emerald. In speed, outclasses her by a landslide, In power he could match the power of a single emerald with his inhibitor rings off. But I guess she could put up somewhat of a fight. Her abilities share some resemblances to Shadow's and makes her a compatible opponent.
Unfortunately there is no way to make a real comparation of power between Touhou and Sonic characters, that's because Touhou characters have a base, and their power is something with a solid base and their characters seem very limited because of the spellcards rules, of course that there are some exeptions (I'm looking at you Yukari), in the other hand there is the sonic universe, who's characters have a base as solid as a flan, they just have the power they need depending of the need of the story, happening that sometimes they get power from nowhere.
Is for this that I always think that is imposible to compare the power of 2 characters that are from different sagas exept if these sagas have a very similar base.
Pd: I don't say that Sakuya should have win, Shadow is just stupidly broken (as well as Sonic).
Not to mention that using VSbattle powerscale in Touhou isn't that consistent as the verse is described to be an Au of our wolrd, therefor physic and knowledge is the only logic appliable when it comes to debating in Touhou. For now verses like DC, Marvel, and SCP is confirmed to stomp Touhou as they fulfill the conditions of irl logic, not sure about Sonic because it's pretty much game logic.

Here is a fun fact, Sakuya can not kill canon Sonic as he is so fast he can move in stopped time and he was punched throw one end of the univarse to another, impacted and did not take damage.

Estaba seguro que Shadow le ganaria a Sakuya, la unica manera en que la veia ganando es con ayuda de un tercero como alguna de las maquinaciones de Yukari o los poderes de controlar el destino de Remilia. A pesar de la diferencia de poder fue realmente una muy buena batalla, me alegra ver a Sakuya en una verdadera pelea (sin ofender a Dio o sus fanboys, que yo tambien lo amo, pero honestamente el no es para nada tan fuerte como Sakuya u otros personajes). Bastante interesado en como se desenvuelve esta historia que estas haciendo, quedo ansioso de poder ver tus futuros trabajos, y si la vida es amable, tal vez alguna animacion de Yukari.
Chaos distorts Fate. It's not really possible for Remilia to do much. Yukari, though, has some very effective abilities that could turn the tide in Sakuya's favor.

Shadow com aquele jeito foda de sempre, ele já enfrentou ameaças bem formidáveis no passado, e se dá conta de que o jeito que ele resolve as coisas é puramente porque ele quer seguir a sua própria vontade, tanto para o bem de alguns quanto para o mal de outros.
Extraordinary animation, as usual. The combat flows well, and the combos remain creative and retain their powerful feel. I absolutely loved 1:48!
This comment was originally going to be about how Sakuya should win due to several factors such as her ability to make knives exist in the past, present and future, her ability to summon a (seemingly) unlimited amount of Sakuyas from other dimensions, and because of the fact that Sakuya can erase Shadow from existance outright. However, I learned that Shadow has immesurable speed. Sorry Touhou fans, but Shadow wins this battle before it even starts. (If he starts in his Super form, that is.)

As soon as Shadow went into his chaos form, it was basically like how he was in Battle of Sprites 3 which was epic
Another amazing animation, I really like these. It's pretty accurately done as well. The only smallest thing is I'm pretty sure shadow's time stop even works on those with time stop resist, but even I'm not sure how many resistances sakuya has to it since it's possible to have many.

Agora falando sério, o climax foi ver o Shadow retirando seus anéis inibidores. O tanto de tempo que leva para animar cada sprite e faze-lo se movimentar é deveras enorme, entendo plenamente o porque de levar tempo para isso.
This was an amazing fight, but there was a bit too much shaky-cam for my liking. It made it harder to understand what was happening rather than making the scene more dynamic.
