Given earlier in the series, we saw her literally lobotomize herself to essentially get high, and then recovered from what was otherwise catastrophic brain damage, I'm not entirely sure a bullet to the head would outright kill her. I suppose if she bled to death that'd kill her, but the regenerative ability of some supes is pretty profound, even if it's not a universal constant with them.
Eh, most likely the bleeding out since the bullet is still in the back of her skull. And she only said her brain COULD regenerate, not her entire body or bones. Plus, she made sure when doing said lobotomies, to avoid any MAJOR damage. Cuz otherwise she would have used a bigger surgerical knife

At the end of the day, I get the feeling that seeing her lobotomize herself was setting up the premise that she COULD survive being shot in the head; it was too obvious a Chekov's Gun... no pun intended.

Yep, seeing people underestimate her is grand considering she's probably been her whole life. She's definitely one of my favorite characters, as she's always a few steps ahead. She knew she would get shot, and used it to take Mother's Milk out without even touching him. Shes playing a bigger game and she's gathering the strongest around her, imo it's why she didn't out A train, he is probably the only one who's a good hero, and his power makes him an ideal support. It's important to note this connects to Noir in a way as he's the third of the new "black supes" as the show sees them, Sage is kind of Grey, A Train is light and Noir is dark. Him feeling left out will drive him to do something to impress Homelander and fill Noirs shoes, and this will be likely killing a lot of people.

She then knew he would shoot her so she manipulates the situation by getting into MM's head and forcing him to shoot because otherwise he really wouldn't so she pushed him by using his family against him. He then did so after she moved and shot her in the side of the head which in turn gave her a really big Lobotomy. She then goes back to the party and she is fucked so Homelander cant use her as a crutch and look what happened he almost fucked it after pulling Neuman into it which was the intention. Neuman then stood up and put herself into it which is exactly what Sage wanted, so in turn everything went exactly as she wanted.

Idk if its before or after this, but she confides in Deep that her brain regenerates completely, just takes time, maybe MM knew this, because killing Sage outright would put too much heat on them.

Honestly it depends what their power is... If it involves taking in energy or pressure in some way like a train or starlight, then yes their bulletproof. On the other hand supes that dont require much strain on the body to use their powers will be much more vulnerable

I think her plan was to make MM have a heart attack or a panic attack, she just didn't count on his accuracy while he was having the panic attack. When Kimiko came back to the scene I don't think she even noticed Sage got up and left, she was 100% focused on saving MM.

Honestly it depends what their power is... If it involves taking in energy or pressure in some way like a train or starlight, then yes their bulletproof. On the other hand supes that dont require much strain on the body to use their powers will be much more vulnerable
