    Thanks! I had a rattle for years and just dealt with the latch ‘floating’ around. All the screws were out, I had no ideas. This was a quick fix and now my car rides are a lot more quiet!

    Thank you very much. This saved me buying a new trunk latch actuator and installing it by the mechanic.

      @@JNBTuning JNB, my rear latch is fixed. After watching your video, it was pretty easy to get into the latch, find the screws (all three had come completely out), and screw them back into the latch. The latch is working normally now. I had looked at buying the Honda Pilot Repair Manual (something like $30) when I found your video. (I am a high school tutor under the AVID program, and had watched the students find answers on TH-cam, so I gave it a try.) I really appreciate the work you put into making this video. I had contacted our local Honda Service Center, and they wanted to take my Pilot for 6 hours for a "Diagnostic." I told the gal what was wrong, but they wanted to look for themselves. Anyway, it's fixed, with about two hours of my work (I'm an older, slower guy at 76 years old). So again, Thank You!

      @@johnratliff318 I am so glad to hear that my DYI video could help so many! I have a dedicated Honda Pilot play list and other cars I have serviced on the Channel. Please feel free to look them up if you are in need.

      @@JNBTuning Definitely a big help. I took the back panel loose and the three bolts that hold the latch in place had rattles out and they were still there stuck under the panel. Reinstalled the bolts and it's back to factory function. It only took 20 minutes and now I'm able to return the bolts I bought from the dealer.
      Thanks again

    thanks for the video. What modification did you do to your front grill? Looks great!

    • @JNBTuning
      @JNBTuning  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Andrew Romulo you are very welcome! Yes the front grill was replaced with the upper and lower Billet Grille Overlay. I got it done by the dealer back in the days, but I believe you can find them online like on www.tdotperformance.ca/t-rex-21732-billet-grille-overlay-or-insert-bolt-on-21-bars.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzuDJhYP35wIVAtVkCh3WrQxzEAkYASABEgL71fD_BwE

    What size bolts hold the lock mechanism in if they are missing?

      Sorry I would not know at this point, but I would suggest visiting the dealership part department or the local scrap yard

    Solid FYI....you don't need to remove the handle. Just the clips, pull down the plastic, tighten screws. Thanks.

      This is false. Remove the handle and it comes off super easily.
