A card you silly rabbits didn't mention was Machine god's effigy. It not only fills your clone slot but it win-the-game combos with felidar guardian and devoted druid. 2 cards you are already considering playing.
I was just on vacation in France. Spending a lovely time on the coast, my friends and I, all chefs, were able to explore the food and wine of the region. It was a dream in the eyes of us all, though, quickly to our dismay, it became a nightmare. Because there before us, in the beautiful old city of Marseille, lay a white and green abomination, ready for the taking of any irresponsible tourist. I warn you both, nowhere is safe from these monsters, they are taking over, and we must seek refuge. Free us from the lime scooters. #FLS
I'm curious why not go 4c with tymna, you replace the skullclamp draw with the card draw from tymna and can then add demonic/vamp tutors and consult/pact so thoracle isn't as dead of a draw
@@heirophantpmit kinda isn't tho, it recently isn't really well established in the meta anymore (except for that one guy running a Razaketh build). So Tymna/Thrasios is definitly up for brewing again 🎉
the idea of pairing Ardenn, a card whose value is found in making equipment costs free, with Nadu, a card that purposefully wants you to be running equipment with free equipment costs, seems just... slightly unintuitive, no? I can kind of understand wanting to add white just because it's a great color but, honestly, what does adding white get you that adding W/B (via Tymna) doesn't? also think it's funny that they're spending valuable time in the run up to the largest tournament of the year talking about a completely off meta deck that has, from what I can tell, no results to speak of but it's a good exercise regardless, I guess
Ardenn/Thras does seem to be the best partner pairing for this shell, but what about taking it 5C? Personally I think Jenson Carthalion or Ezio will be the way to go to support a Nadu breakfast centered-value engine. Your Neoform (on one of these commanders) grabs you either a Nadu or a Ranger Captain which gets you your Nomads. Ezio may be easier to cast but Jenson facilitates a deeper turbo plan with Bring to Light as a second Naus, and his filter ability turns Jeska's Will into some very very good advantage. Either way, Nadu and Nomads en Kor feel like the best split of value engine/win con in the game right now.
I've been brewing that deck recently but with Tymna/Thrasios and this video was really helpful with that. I kinda still think Tymna > Ardenn tho in this case, especially for Dread Return and Hazel Brewmaster. That way you can definitly keep the Illusionist plan in there (cuz you will have Thoracle in your deck anyway as you have access to Tainted Pact 😂)
I love this video. Great sneak peek at what a coaching session might be like, and really great diplomatic massaging of the decklist. Great job!
Cal's been away too long he's beginning to forget the menace that is Lime Scooters.

Just for anyone stumbling upon this and wondering: He meant Felidar Guardian, not Felidar Sovereign 😄
@@Ex4_ oh, yeas guardian that's right. I always mix up my Felidars
There a couple of us that are working on a derevi breakfast list currently 😅
I am too xD
Hey! Question! Ever thought of doing gameplay videos where we get to see Cal in action with whatever Arden build he’s chubbing too lately?
It threw me off not having a Monday morning video. Glad you’re back today. Thanks for another great one!!! Also great job on the weekend Ian.
Thank you!
8:28 aged perfectly 😂

I blame the lime scooters. They went for the eyes

That sounds pretty fun
because Ardenn is very clearly a pet card of Cal's (and also because Tymna/Thras is a very well-established deck)

I lost the game when Cal asked for a spanking 😂

Hear me out.... Naru meha and ghostly flicker?
I reluctantly admit I got the pat McAfee reference
What is the name of the song in the credits? I can't seem to find it online and it really bangs.
Since we are theory crafting just curious on your guys thoughts about Lazav, familiar stranger.
Entombing razaketh and then commiting a crime.
Ardenn content ❤

Me: WHERE ARE YOU?! AND I’M SO SORRY!!!
Oh good, something not meta being talked about
Love watching this scoupers but hate when you talk about cards and then dont show them on screen
Don’t bash Miranda Cosgrove, she’s a treasure
