- COMPRESSION TEST | 243,000 MILE BMW
Today we begin post drift event maintenance and get ready for the next one. One part of that is giving the M54B25 a compression test to see how the old engine is holding up.

Great job on this video🎉 Can't wait for Cordele!!🥳
Thank you love!
Your compression numbers were actually probably way higher and closer to each other than you think. You coulda turned over the engine a few more times on each and seen that last blip of compression. Glad to see your old girl still rocking tho!!!
Thanks for checking this out man. I was kinda pumped about this and yeah realizing I could have given it more cycles gives me hope this engine is actually doing better than I thought.
Cordele bound, great video!!!
Thank you!
10% of one another is pretty healthy
Thanks! Thats what I was shooting for. I will do it again after the next event to make sure its not coming down fast.
Compression looks solid bro💪
Thank you! I was kinda surprised honestly. Picked up some affordable headers to try out for the next event too. Thanks for watching.
@@DriftSanti headers would be great! They're not fun to do in the e46 though, lol
@@adamkhorkabap Totally right. 🤣 I am not excited about the job.
@@DriftSanti lmao it'll make for a good video at least🤣
Thats the goal brother. Might be alot of bleeps haha.
Crank for 5 cycles... about 5-6 seconds
Ah I thought I needed 3 only. Thats for next time I guess.
@@DriftSanti yeah and make sure to pull your fuse(s) for the fuel system
@@cigarsgunsandgasoline8032 I did lol. Much easier than what I was doing originally.
@@DriftSanti you can always message or call your uncle... 😏😏😉😉
