this incubator can incubate 500 pieces eggs, with common plastic egg trays, soldering iron as heating source and some help of 40w light bulbs. also use a thermostat and digital timer frm01

Good build friend, i rise quails and chicks for 5 years now.The temperature, must be 37,7 and the humidity about, 40 and 55 % in the day 18 or 15 for quails, rise the humidity to 65%. The most important is to clean the incubator with bleach 1:10 wather to kill al the bacteria. If not cleaned the bactetia will enter the next eggs and many will not survive. So you need a thermoigrometer monted on that big incubator or you will get big loses. sorry about my english. Thanks for the video.

Hello guy, Sorry for not having an update for the result of this incubator. eggs didn't hatch because of power failure/Blockout i didn't prepare the back up power inverter because it happens at night (dont want to disturb my neighbors). The owner decided to get the machine and test it by himself, i contacted him a while ago and it does hatch eggs maybe 85% hatch rate.
i am planning to build a small one for myself so i can test it without hustle.
Liar, they all hatched and you just ate them.

I suspect heat buildup may increase beyond settings..., I used two W1209, 1 for heating, and one for cooling once temperature go some degrees higher than desired. Some heat must be thrown out of box... I used some mercury thermometers to compare to digital readout...

Looks awesome, great work. Why didnt you treat and paint the metal? Its going to rust pretty fast with the humidity for the eggs.

very nice, neatly done. how ever can i give my 2 cents, it be allot effective if u use UPS, just change the battery to a 7 or 9 plates, that should take care power interruptions.
