This is easilly my most anticipated Nerf blaster release after seeing them all at New York Toy Fair 2019 and then again at Jared's Epic Nerf Battle. The ergonomics, the capacity, the face that it comes with a built in power source (well, if you purchase one). Its a flagship in any arena and certainly takes the cake. I absolutely can't wait to get inside mine and find out what makes it tick. Will you join me in the teardown on my twitch?

Awesome Beast123 I know. I was yelling at my screen, “WHY! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!” I know he has a lot of them but I have only a few since I only have one Rival and that is the Zeus.
A lot of those were probably cheap offbrand ones judging by their color
Same I have a Hades (60 balls ammo) and I NEVER fire it cos I would never see any ammo again😢😢😢😢

Use 2 Prometheus's and...
I finally own a Perses. Awesome blaster. You can take out the complete hopper and override the little plastic switch. With a very little modification you can use the Perses without the hopper and simly fill in the Rival rounds directly in the case. So you can use nearly 90 rounds instead of 50.
I still dont have one. My parents wont buy it for me

I'm really interested in whether this is the same mechanism as the Prometheus just in a smaller package. Hoppers can be extended, but large blaster platforms not always so easily "trimmed". Great review and I'm looking forward to your tear-down!
justajolt I believe it is-I know they both have conveyed belts. I would also like see people make “murder hole” style expanded hoppers for this.
From what I can see, there are no agitators since the hopper isn't very tall.

they have re-released all of the biggest and most main ones except for the Diatron and i think the flywheeler under the VTX brand. but i would like to see a straight up re-release of the Fusefire with the same shell and paint that it had before.

So it's basically everything the khaos should have been. Honestly I don't think it's worth the upgrade from one.
HyperNinja ZX : Of course... not until you do an A-B comparison of ergonomics, loading speed and convenience. You do have more than one functioning Khaos mag, right?
@@totophi Yeah, carrying them is a pain though. But no one's gonna do a side by side comparison, the khaos is just to un-popular.
HyperNinja ZX : My point is that it may OR may not be worth the upgrade from Khaos to Perses; it is likely up to personal preference. Too close a call to be automatic.
@@totophi Yeah, I think Hasbro realized that the Khaos style mag sucked. Even making more blasters based on the Khaos mag wouldn't make it much better, since the magazine is really only made for conveyor fed flywheel blasters, and anything based on it would just be a Khaos reskin. On the other hand, it's kinda nice to have a blaster that looks and feels like a real gun. Plus the sights are probably the nicest sights to ever grace a Nerf blaster.
Can you make a new mod guide for the Nerf Vortex Praxis? Your old one is very hard to follow and it would be great to shine some light on older blaster lines. I also have a Praxis I am looking forward to modding.

Halo definitely needs more weapons like that.
this will change the rival line. The price point is a little high, but I have a feeling this is gonna be the next go to blaster. hopefully some people will come up with epic mods for it, although it seems fine stock as well.

I have the nerf rival Perses and I love it, it has 50 rounds, it’s comfortable to hold, and it obliterates the competition
Saw it on sale for $60 at Walmart. You convinced me. In fact I've ordered 2.
Right handed shooter: complains when it's a good blaster and not right hand friendly

I'll tell you right away, it doesn't remind me of an L86 at all. It looks like it has the front of a Kriss Vector and the top of a P90. But it's a nerf gun, who cares.

Huh, the fire rate seemed way higher when you first got your hands on it at toy fair. Maybe its the battery, maybe its just a difference between the production model and the initial unit.

But if he really used 9.7v like the original battery pack for the perses, I think there won't be much improvement. I hope that I'm proven wrong.

Samin Latif you guys are wrong, I have one and I can empty the hopper in 5-6 seconds, it’s probably the battery that he used (mine is also much louder)

The firing mechanism sounds like a hitmarker.
Does that removable ammo bin have any integral moving parts (other than techncally the lid hinge)? Someone could make mint 3D print duplicating it (and *only* it) to provide 50-round quick reloads. Out of ammo, pop it out and use a full one, same as the existing tubazines and such.
Will you do a "Recluse"(from Destiny 2) mod for it?

It’s rate of fire and velocity is better than the Prometheus when it uses its own battery.

Wish they had molded a rail into the hopper lid. Since they did not, wondering how good/bad of an idea it would be to epoxy or even bolt some picatinny to that thing. Think the hinge will hold up to the added weight once an accessory, like a small optic, is added?
