It's high time one of us Nerftubers hopped on the tierlist train, and why not the one who's actually done battle with all the different Rival blasters both new and after the fact. Some stand the test of time and some fell flat out of the gate, but here it is in all it's glory for you guys to debate and consider, the rival tier list.

5:01 No, the hypnos having a p90 reload is a positive! It makes the blaster slim and easily to reload. The hypnos is the equivelant of the alpha trooper in the rival line. C teir at least

I personally love the slick design and extra mag so I would put it at low B Tier

Yeah
Its a cool blaster but its super prone to shooting rounds at half or even a quarter of its full power due to its weird loading system. I have three and they all shoot inconsistent. The mag fed feature is awesome though, and it does feel nice in the hands.

Amazon sells extra khaos mags with ammo for like 15$
Also we didn’t have the Star Wars apollo reskin on there which had slightly different ergonomics

The Hades is my absolute favorite nerf gun I own. I've got a nemesis too, but that always feels like playing with cheat codes. The Hades is powerful yet fair

I'd bump both the Prometheus and the Hera up one level to A class. While I prefer using my Nemesis with the 3dps Muderhole hopper, having bought >8< prometheuses now averaging around $95 each, I find it a tremendous blaster. I've given two to school teachers who have started clubs with their students. It commands the battlefield in casual matches more than any other stock blaster.
As for the Hera, I'd agree with your placement in general, but where the Hera really shines is in limited ammo engagements, and in highly restrictive LARPs. I'd also bump the Jupiter up for its cosplay/LARP potential.
I LOVE THE HELIOS AND THE HYPNOS IS GREAT. The Helios is compatible with the 12 round mag and the soon to come 30 round drum

So there is a guy in my nerf club that modded the atlas with a wye hopper. It hits around 170 to 180 fps. Range is around 100 ft. Super accurate and he wrecks with it! So I would move it up to B tier. Great little mod.
Drew Benson if modding is brought into the question then any blaster would be a s tier. If the modded has enough experience then they can mod anything to hit 100 plus fps

When I clicked this I wasn’t sure how I was gonna react to the list but I have to say, I honestly agree with 98-99% of the list, my only difference is maybe a one tier move up with the Nemesis, and maybe a switch with the sniper one and Helios, or just move up the Helios one tier, and put the Heracles up to c.

@@Jerbt it’s less bulky on a sling, but to be honest what other secondaries could you have that would even be required besides like a pistol if you have a Nemesis? The reload time is like under 10 seconds.
@@ErrorNumber404 not actually practical even with the sling because you're gonna have to be the heavy for it, it would be much better if they created it with a traditional rifle grip.
The khaos magazines actually have been sold separately. They came out on Amazon, bough in fairness they came out for $25 a piece and several months after the khaos already came out, but also in fairness the magazines aren’t cheap to sow and so $25 was pricy by fair. They disappeared from amazon for awhile but came back at $15 each and are now back to original msrp.

I would put the Prometheus at A tier In my opinion and switch the Jupiter with the mercury and switch the Zeus with the Helios

Yep totally agree, toating a pair of A tier Deadpool Kronos pistols with speedhooks helped me win Stalking dead last year and on shoulder holsters makes great Rival blasters for an HvZ, especially a pair of em! Dude Drac nice list, I was pessimist at first because usually someone will make a list like this and be biased, but your judgement clearly comes from your experience as the Nerf God you are and playing with them on the field. Good work.

But real talk, more vids like this. Elite would be a huge undertaking but I think you could break it up into a super series. Pistols, Spring Primaries, Flywheels, Shotguns, "Other," and then do a big list of the top blasters of each tier if it proves popular.

My nemesis is a dud for some reason. It shoots 2 darts a second and only like 2 feet. I have replaced the batteries and it still shoots like that. The Hades is my current favorite blaster

I have gotten used to my apollo's ergo's and in range testing it ends up coming up around the rival pathfinder (indoor gym used for testing) so maybe it just has inconsistent manufacturing

I'm a huge fan of the Hades. Only had a chance to use it twice, while I was helping staff a SciFi LARP in the SE. But it was an amazing foam thrower to have available for the tougher or higher-tier encounters. Reloading is pretty quick (I'd do handfuls from a bin of balls), and it had great power and range in the outdoor/pavilion spaces we were using. Very happy to see it land in Superior tier.
The Hades is probably my favorite Rival blaster, followed by the Prometheus and the Hera.
Well done. My only gripe is that I’ve used both the Nemesis & Prometheus and definitely prefer the Prometheus. It shoots high, but with just a little practice it beats a Nemesis with capacity, distance, ROF, intimidation to new players, it’s better balanced... (The only asterisk that I would bring up with this is that I’ve also played in a couple wars with Mitch Essinger’s “Cardinal Sin” Nemesis. It just wrecks the world so this comment is in no way related to his Nemesis or its modifications.)
Helios and jupiter id have put higher. Hera too. Some of these qualifications felt a bit arbitrary and totally subjective
Hera: you held it back for being semi auto. Thats your own bias. I like semi auto. In a game where one shot can be a tag, not everything needs to be spray and pray.
Helios: mag in a good place in the handle. Reversible priming handle. Even though it came with a small mag, its compatible with longer ones. And it has a return spring which other springers dont. Only the override release is in a weird place.
Jupiter: not sure why this was put that low. Because youre not a fan of the bolt handle and the other gimmicks? It should be fine as a rivle rifle on the field without the bipod.

i would have bumped up the prometheus to S, or at least A. drac makes the grip seem like a huge deal when it's really not, i've found it fairly easy to aim once you get used to it.
and i would have bumped the khaos down to D, it has no reason to exist anymore now that the nemesis and perses are available.
the D.va pistol really only belongs in B if you're a hardcore cosplayer, otherwise it's E teir since it's just a kronos with 2 rounds cut from it's mag for the same price as an actual kronos.

Uh, the Mercury's main problem is the really heavy trigger pull, not the bolt prime.
Personally I'd elevate the Artemis to S Tier with its big brother the Hades. It's a thing of absolute beauty.
I think the Prometheus is a solid A Tier considering its vast ammo capacity, rate of fire and reliability. It works better than a Nemesis overall, and that compensates for the awkward carry style.
I'd drop the Helios to E, and I feel I'm being kind to that pile of junk. Its pathetic excuse for a jam door, for a blaster that jams a LOT, makes me hate it.
And I think the Hypnos deserves a C Tier, although based on what I've heard mine seems to work better than most people's so possibly I have the anti-lemon model?

Out of the Rivals I have, this list seems accurate - except for the Hera and Zeus. The Hera is cramped and uncomfortable for me, but I can use the Zeus 1-handed.
Are you saying you’d rather have a hades than a nemesis?

How is the Hades ranked higher than the Nemesis? The Nemesis beats it on all fronts especially considering how easily it can be modded. I agree that the perses is a tier better but in that case the springers should be pushed down a tier since bulk loading full auto is pretty much the main advantage of rival.

I'll admit, your list is pretty solid. However, two things. Firstly...why you gotta come down so hard on mah baby Atlas? :'c You'd really put it below the McCree blaster?? That's a tad harsh. I'm also surprised you put the Hypnos in the same tier as the Helios, considering most people seem to think that pump-action is almost always objectively the best springer configuration.

Hey Drac, how about a top 10 ball blaster list for any Rival, DartZone or xshot ?
Ok hold up I could understand that maybe hip firing juggernaut style blasters are not your thing but ya gotta give credit where credits due... To say that a nemesis at 100 round capacity would wreck a Prometheus at 200+ round capacity is not realistic at all. The Prometheus has a higher capacity, faster fire rate, and overall better performance. As for form factor I've used both and yes even though I like the traditional rifle feel of the nemesis, for that much weight I would much rather have the Gatling gun style of the Prometheus. I'm not saying the Prometheus is better than the nemesis or vise versa. I'm saying it's unfair to put the Prometheus that low just based on personal preference. Personally I would put it in S tier seeing how it holds 100 more rounds than the nemesis but I could also see it in A tier. Pretty much agree with everything else though.

I don’t agree with this tier list. I mean, you’re only judging on how war practical it is but not about the actual gun and how fun is it to shoot it
Not war practical, just practical, how reliable is it, how much fun is it, the actual definitives (power, fire rate, and capacity), and lastly comfort/safety. Some blasters in the line are definitively better than others, the Hades is a better Artemis, the McCree pistol, while looking cool, does nothing beyond that, the Apollo was super awkward with a slim top prime, and the Khaos and Zeus are old and obsolete, though the Khaos does a certain fun factor to it being a very combat oriented rifle, but it is awkwardly heavy with most of the weight in front of the grip and the mag can choose to not cooperate and go into the slot. So in all, I’d say the list is pretty fair across the board, if theres a better option, the better option is higher, is something is awful as a blaster in all aspects, then it goes towards the bottom, if its great in all aspects, it goes towards the top, its simple and fair.

I get your distaste for the ergonomics of the Prometheus, but aiming it isn't that hard at all, you just have to understand your point of reference for it. Mind you, you also kind of have to be the juggernaut to carry it without it being in the way. As a six foot+ guy who is stocky at anywhere from 280 to 300 lbs depending on the time of year, the Prometheus fits my size well, and I'm comfortable using it and aiming it. Nothing for nothing, your a lanky dude, I can see how the Prometheus would just feel in the way and awkward to use and carry. I would At least put it at A tier personally.

What ruins the perses is the low capacity in my opinion, and hades is ergonomically worse than the artemis (atleast it does have a stock though).
Why are the Hades ergonomics worse than the Artemis?
@@Yayface0 somewhat uncomfortable stock, thumbhole bar kinda rubs on wrists, weird trigger, longer draw.
@@coltstelting6969 The stock is more just to rest your shoulder on, the thumbhole seems fine to me, I don't know how the trigger is weird, and the draw seems smoother

This was made before those blasters. I think the Takedown is B Tier and the Saturn is C Tier just because the Saturn isn’t doing that much more.
