Bonanza was my favorite TV series of all time. Landon is one of my favorite actors of all time. I got to spend a day on set of Little House one time. (I am retired from that industry) Michael was a pro. He was warm and he was funny and loved the kids he worked with. He was also a joker. The garbage you hear about Michael? I never saw it.

If he was born in 1936 , he turned 23 in 1959 when Bonanza aired. My mom turned 22 just after I was born in September of 1959, and my mom turned 22 in November just sent after I was born. She was born in 1937
@@dawnwatkins6554 He is quoted as saying Joe was 21. But, the exact ages change somewhat over the series. As do the year according to some tombstones. Plus, yes it aired in Sept of ‘59 but was probably filmed months prior. Overwhelmingly, it is agreed that the boys were 6 years apart.
Mam I'm not good with math either, I just know when I was born in September of 1959 my mom who was born in 1937 a year after Michael Landon was born turned 22. I do know a math trick you can use to find out how old a person is or will/would have been in a given year. If you know the year they were born, subtract the year it is, or the year you want to know about and the # your left with is the age they are now or will be when their birthday comes or were during the year your checking on. (I hope how I put that made since you)
