    You're videos are very useful and informative. Being able to watch how it's done gave me the ammo I needed to get rid of the rust on my '68. Keep up the great work. I cant wait to see how this one turns out!!!!

    As I've said before, great vids and nice work! I like how there's not much "word salad" from you, just simple explanations of what you're going to do then getting it done. Too many TH-camrs just go on and on and on about things. Keep the vids coming, can't wait to see the finished product.

      My Red 79 Z/28 back in the day was named "ZBAD28" on my license plate. When racing at "Martin US 131 Dragway" in South West Michigan I used to get lot's of Thumbs Up 👍from the announcers.

    Steve, Watched all your videos. Man you make it look easy, I have followed your lead on alot of videos working on my 64 GMC. Thanks for setting up your camera and spending the time to coach all of us on metalwork and truck resto. I've done inner and outer rockers, fender patches and door skin patches. I couldn't and wouldn't of even tried it without your vids. Gives us guys the confidence to get it done. Is there anything you can't do? I bet you can R&R as washer and dryer too.Thanks Steve in Washington State.

    I have 3 square body's and a 70 and a 71 all Chevys. Someday I want to find a 65 GMC to bring back around. Live in Northern WISCONSIN 10 min. from the UP Michigan border and the early to mid 60s Trucks are real scarce up here.

      Brother Gibs showed us at the beginning of this new build that the "Black Beauty" had many generations of mice nest in between the outer rooftop and the inner headliner.
      Lot's of mouse piss, droppings and moisture made the metal rust from the inside out.

    Hey Gibson: Building a 65 c10, finnished frame/engione, drivetrain and on body work now, have a question if you dont mind: This is a small window cab btw. Rear of cab from top of wide section to below window is curved in, dang linear too, its low about 3/16 , maybe a 1/4 at the center of the upper section just below the flat before the window. I first thought it was bent in by something hitting a bed hard, but now im not sure. Is that inward curve factory of, do it need to pull this out? Its a slow curve , lowest point is dead center . Any help appreciated buddy.
    Btw- you do great work on both cars and framing.

    • @Gibson63.
      @Gibson63.  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If your talking about the rear back window panel just below the window it is supposed to be a straight panel all the way across.mine was bowed in a little on my red 63 and I used a stud welder to pulled it out

    • @fr.rustymatheny7707

      @@Gibson63. yes, there and the shelf below it.
      I’m bowed in on both horizontal areas , steps out from flat below window .
      First one about 2 inches wide , one below it about 4 to 5 inches wide .
      So I need to pull all that out ?
