I knew this must be possible! I scraped by with 68 moves at level 70. Now I'm at 74 and determined to make it work. I had no idea boomerangs could push out that much damage! EDIT: Just cleared in 25 moves (even with horrible luck getting put to sleep in the third round - albeit I had some of the later gear from the trials to make things easier)! One tip I'm not sure I saw in the comments: Equipping Rab with a Meteorite Bracer +3 will for sure make him move before Jade, enabling her to mop up the rest if Kamikazee only takes some of the enemies to 1 HP. Saved me some sanity on repeating attempts.

Tan uses kamikaze to wipe out those enemies in one hit. It’s the biggest luck-based attack in the whole segment, so that’s why I use it right away on the first fight. It will work if you try it a few times.

That can happen. Reset and try again. That’s why you use him in the first round to get past that luck portion early. It will land relatively often and shouldn’t cause too many resets.

I have not. This was in the original version of the game on PS4. I think the secret trial is only in the definitive edition. I haven't played that version yet. It's been long enough now that I'm interested in going back and playing the game again. Maybe I'll get the definitive edition so I can play it in 2D mode. Then after I beat it I can go back and do the secret trial.

I'm not sure, but I know it has a low chance to hit. That's why I used him early for quick resets if it didn't work.

I found that Gyrfalconslash did more damage than unbridled blade
I had my hendrix equipped with drustans sword
What levels were you? Did you finish the majority of the game, or did you complete it as soon as you got to the Trial?
My hendrix was 74 all sword skills unlocked
Full drustan armor + shield bearer+3 and field Marshall's footwear+3
Could probably get even more dmg with him dual wielding swirds

No way in hell is this legit. I have tried to kill the first group in 2 moves like 40 times. I aam lev 97. Not possible.
