I know I'm late to the party but when I use a costume such as the ''Savior of the Sands'', the sword on my characters back disappears when seathed such as walking around towns/fields etc. Is this a bug on my system? Or is it normal? PS! One more related question: is there a way to have my sword visible on my character while it's seathed when I'm using a costume such as Savior of Sands and them heavy metallic-looking armors? tanatos5 Sadly no, it’s not a bug, it is intended that those costumes make your sword invisible in the over world. That was the main reason why I kept updating my party costumes whenever I got new ones except from the Hero, since I loved the fact that the sword was on display. However, when I got my hands on the Wolf Dragon costume, it became my new outfit, it’s just too awesome.

But what drives me crazy is this; I see NPC’s (even regular guard-NPC’s etc.) wearing heavy plate armor, with capes on their backs, and with their seathed swords showing on their sides/backs - even while they are MOVING around! So the devs could make the weapons show even for the NPC’s but not for the player... on the very Definitive Edition of the game? :( Don’t get me wrong, it’s an awesome game with mostly an awesome player base such as yourself, and that’s great! To get it you must have a Nintendo Switch because that’s the only way to get the outfit. Once you got that you search dragon Quest 11 then scroll down Click Champion’s pack.
First, you have to go back in time and locate a Dragon mount on the island. There is a small landmass that is farther away than all other landing spots, fly to there. It around one of the edges of the map, can't remember which exactly. When you get close enough, you'll notice a chest. That is it.
Kill Malicious Arachtagon in Octagonia during Act 3 and talk to the pink women who were in the fighting tournament. Each of them will give you part of the set. They should be in the casino.
I'd have preferred not to see some of the outfits in the thumbnail there, I'm having so much fun exploring things in the game now and seeing new things as I find them.

How do you get hotto stuff for the hero, I’ve read you had to get it in act 2, I didn’t, have I missed it then cos I love that outfit
After you defeat the dragon in hotto it appears in the armor shop there for sale. Forget if it is after first or final battle.
