NEW 2025 Dacia Bigster TCe 130 4x4 Extreme Version Revealed

Dacia is on a winning streak, making waves in the European market. The Sandero has become Europe's best-selling car this year, leaving behind long-time favorites like the Volkswagen Golf. Meanwhile, the Duster is fiercely competing with the Tiguan for sixth place. Now, Dacia is aiming higher with the new Bigster, a step into the C-segment arena. Despite its straightforward name, the brand's largest vehicle so far appears to be a solid entry.
While Dacia markets the Bigster as an all-new vehicle, it essentially feels like a larger version of the Duster. It is based on the 2021 Bigster concept, offering a stylish, budget-friendly SUV. The price details are still under wraps, but like other Dacia models, it is expected to be among the most affordable in its class.
The Bigster, though still a five-seater, boasts a roomier cabin and extra features. Unlike past bare-bones models, this one comes with 19-inch wheels, two-tone paint options, an electric tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, adaptive cruise control, and an adjustable driver’s seat. The interior is modern, featuring a 10-inch digital driver's display paired with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and dual-zone climate control.
Under the hood, the Bigster has versatile powertrains. It is the first Renault Group model to feature a Hybrid 155 system, combining a gas engine, two electric motors, a 1.4-kilowatt-hour battery, and a unique transmission setup. It always starts in electric mode and can operate emissions-free in urban settings for up to 80 percent of the time. Another option is the TCe 140, a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a mild-hybrid system.
For those who prefer liquefied petroleum gas, there is an ECO-G 140 variant. This version has an impressive range of up to 1,450 kilometers, thanks to a dual-fuel setup. With competitive pricing and features, the Bigster could become another big success for Dacia.
