6:25 LOL I worked for Metallica when they played in Milan. I was the guy who pumped air in those ball/balloons ... I thought those balls were a bit silly for a metal concert. Most people grabbed them as they threw them to the public, deflated them and pocketed them. They lasted only an handful of seconds :D
you have a big blow.🤣🤣🤣
ok
Parabéns. O show tava épico até você ter tido essa ideia.
Fails count in this video
Kirk 10
Lars 7
James 4
Trujillo 0
Trujillo never fail....
We were all expecting it to be 10 mins of Lars messing up
less talk less mistake Trujillo FTW

What place is in that Metallica concert at 7:38?
Knowing they played countless rock shows and had cameras pointed at them almost 100% of the time, we should have a lot more recorded fails. Or another explanation ... this band simply rocks!!
bro they took 1 week off once i think lol
Aside from the fact that Kirk actually slipped off his friggin' wah pedal (the irony escapes no one) you can hardly call that a fail. :D Frankly, the way he takes all that in a stride and laugh on it with everybody makes him really impressive to me.
Like when he dropped the pick🖲🎨(there wasn't a guitar pick emoji)
These fails are part of what makes a live concert great, in my opinion, and how great bands like Metallica just takes them in stride.
I played professional from the age of 15 for 20 years. I have jammed with some iconic musicians and some that were not. One thing I can tell you is EVERYONE makes mistakes or has an unexpected experience with equipment. What separates the amateur from the pro is the ability to keep pushing through or laugh it off and start over. Amateurs can’t recover, pros know how to handle anything because they have made mistakes a thousand times
Cap
You are 100% correct
Lars is bad drummer, but he is OUR bad drummer
He's a bad drummer but in a good way
He's a bad drummer, period.
@@Amp661 They never denied that
Remember ...Justice, it was fuckin outstanding 🏴☠️
3:35 - Falls, fails to give fan the mic, ALRIGHT,MY FRIEND LARS
3:39 UAA
So it's pretty normal somethin funny to happen in Metallica's concerts.
I like these fails, they're honest and don't take anything away from their musicmanship
I would rather see a band make a mistake every song, then listen to a perfectly pre-recorded audio synced concert
Lars Ulrich has a left hand coordination issue that happens repeatedly, where his left hand will play two consecutive 8th notes when he only meant to play one, and it just throws him off. It's probably a foot-hand independence issue where his left hand will "follow" his right foot unintentionally sometimes. This is something that happens at beginner to intermediate levels.
He’s definitely regressing in his playing.
not recently, Lars has been doing actually really good lately.
Have you guys not been watching this latest tour… Lars is on fire
On he drums but still his left foot follows
@@Ominous89 probably a habit from his double kicks (i may be wrong though)
I love it when bands mess up. It let’s you know they’re not faking it like pop stars
Only shows that even legends such as the Metallica can do mistake as well. We are all human. 🤘🤘🤘
Why shouldn´t they? They are, as you say humans! But legends? Cliff Burton IS a legend, yes! But Metallica!
@@larsnilsson8949 No they shouldn't ever make mistakes of any kind EVER! Everything they do onstage - *_everything_* - should be 100% perfection, absolutely no excuses.
Just kidding.
Even lars, the worst drummer in metallica, makes mistakes
Really? I think Metallica took it personal... I'm glad you're here to defend them at all costs 😭💀🙄
only shows that these frauds uses backing tracks lmao
1:15
Lars' hair is a total fail.
First clip, Love it when Kurk hits the riff right before he gets up from his fall lol awesome
Many of these fails I had not seen, I really liked the compilation xd
"You had one job!" -Guy in the crowd during Fade To Black
Rob is a bad influence on Kirk
What do you mean?
@@Poopmannn It's a joke because in the video there were a few moments of Rob doing his crab walk and crazy dance moves, and Kirk tries to keep up and get all crazy yet falls apart lmao
Rob dodany fit Metallica. He fits Mike Muire.
@@Poopmannnbecause it's mexican jajajajajaja i'm joke, i'm mexican so i can do this joke, not you
So are the drugs
6:28 did Kirk hit a little kid with that ball? omg lol!
I am surprised that not even once in the 32 years of existence of the Black Album they played twinkle twinkle little star after asking "do you want heavy?". Shit would be pure gold comedy
Where is the fail in Ktulu supposed to be? Lars doing a bunch of fills during the solo? That´s just what he does. On the other hand, the now that we´re dead really made me laugh
He’s playing the wrong beat
1:10 whoever threw that ball gets 1000 points 😂 pefectly timed what a rotten thing to do. James kept his cool but that was funny.
bro, james kicked it 🤣
It's impressive they only have 10 mins of fails after being playing for 200 years xD
All jokes aside it’s kinda impressive, when you think that Metallica has been together for 42 years and played thousands of shows, that the video featuring mistakes they made is only 11 minutes long
Smartphone era hasn’t been around that long mate.
@@InsideOutAnus cameras
I was at the show where Kirk took a dive during the intro to Bells. He was almost lit up by one of the pyros during Fuel as well.
I watched him look over his shoulder, he quickly took 3 or 4 steps forward, then the flames came up from the stage.
I swear, that unforgiven 2 fail was shocking loooooll
Kirks fails are the best :D

This is part of our lifes. Everybody do fails someday
Lars does them constantly. Can’t remember the songs he made.
@@tastysnivelkirk fails more than him.
@@Zaher74 Imo Kirk has been pretty consistent during the 72 Seasons tour. Probably he had time to rehearse during covid lockdown. But I agree that he was in pretty bad shape from 2009 to 2020.
why are so many of these during seek and destroy lmfao
I think that track its the encore in many shows and most likely they already tired lol
Love it. Real musicians playing and making a mistake makes it real.
You know what wasn't on the video? Cd skips.
Metallica mistakes are other bands legacy’s. Meaning, even at their worst… They are better than most other bands. I’m not even a huge metallica fan, but I understand how absolutely talented each of them are. Not only as Musicians, but songwriters also. Try doing what they do 42 years and still having the stamina and voice. Truly amazing.
They can play guitar riffs, but besides that, they're not gifted musicians. But they have earned their fame !
@@thefreedomguyukThey are the most influential and successful metal band of all time. They have created an entire genre.
No matter their technical abilities, they are absolutely gifted musicians. If you deny that, you are a fool.
Awesome
7:52 what happens when you go through electronic amp patches instead of into your own amp. Kirk’s guitar signal/tone has been patched to Jame’s guitar.
Shit happens when you play live music, without backing tracks or any other technical tricks, in front of an audience...can't wait to see them in August!...🤘🤘👹👹
Dude, thanks to your comment, I realized they're playing in Dallas next weekend. Thank you!
@jmd11185 I'll be at the 2 shows in LA at SoFi stadium!...thought about Dallas but my brother is in LA...easier for me to fly there.

Yes, they’re all metal gods but they’re also still human just like the rest of us.
unforgiven 2 fail was wild💀💀
A full featured video of Hetfield "failing' would last less than a minute ~
Notice how Jason isn’t in there?
Cuz Jason doesn’t fuck up
Kirk falls a lot
He's getting old. Just wait till he breaks his hip and is forced to retire.
Mtallica gives you heavy baby
Certains groupes comme des Doors étaient shootés avant les concerts et les fails étaient courants. Metallica, c'est plus serieux et les fails sont plus remarquables. Ça fait parti du live.
Either I’m retarded or just blind but what happened to kirk at 4:55 to make him stop playing? Did he snap a string or something? Did he play the riff wrong? Somebody please tell me lol
he fucks up the Nothing else matters intro. it's right at the end when he stops playing
Oh yeah that’s right!!!! There’s one more part he was supposed to play before those hammer ons. It flowed well I didn’t even notice. Thank you

The Magic of live Music.
7:50 het looks so badass playing the jackson
hello from Greece, those mistakes show that they really respect the crowd and dont use methods as playback when others do it most of times...at least this is my opinion..
ps do not forget that drummer has lost his hearing almost 100% from their absolute world record of playing live all over the world... if i remember well at some point they had played 160 lives in 1 year that is unbelievable....
ps2, there are alot of haters and some try to use logic on how they are not the best each one of them, for me their band as a team is what makes the difference not each one.. even Cliff Burton is still alive through them...
ps3. what amazing live has been with symphony orchestra 2019
Does Metallica play Blackened anymore? That's a tough song to play in your 20s, let alone in your 50s and 60s.
yeee check out their setlists
Yes
They should do a comedy tour
Ante todo..... Es que están en vivo!! Así que no hay problema!!
it seems a lot of these fails are while they play seek & destroy...
Better strike that one from the setlist. 😂

Meanwhile, on youtube, little kids play these songs flawlessly.
There's a little bit of Spinal tap in Metallica live shows...and that's a good thing. We are all imperfect humans and our imperfections should be handled with grace and humor.
You compared Metallica with a metal parody band and then inserted the "everyone makes mistakes" crap... it's Metallica, stop trying to defend them, they don't need... and at the same time you compare them with Spinal Tap... jfc
" Metallica Of Failure " . That's very awesome too👍🏻 . Very funny to see . Anyway , in concert , there is fuckin evil . 😎
I Love skinny Metallica!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite eras of metallica above all. Talkin before 92 nuthing against the heavier version just a preference, i think they moved better & dressed looser. seems they made better songs too imo. I like new Tallica but LOVE Metallica before 92
Kirk, at 60, has quite a few recent vids of him being on fire. Playing super tight. Lars as well. James has always been the best guitar player on the rhythm side.
There was a long stretch of time where they only put in two hours of quality studio time in. Years of not being together, etc. You get all that money and have a family you stop making music a priority.
I don't think any of them thought it was last 4 decades. They probably play as good today as they ever have. Probably a few songs kirk or lars can no longer play.
Lars is deaf, kirk, horrible arthritis. Still cant take away the riffs and forever legend music and songwriting talent. I don't know anyone who plays the drums perfessionally that is both deaf and can keep time good enough.
They were thrash metal. Being mozart clean was never the forte. They all each managed bouts of greatness through the 40 years and created magic when together.
Best things ever? Children falling
Best guitarist ever? Kircus Hammettus
Best live performance ever? Kircus Hammettus kicking a balloon and a child falling after getting hit in the face
relatively minor fails
The show must go on 😂🎉
Sometimes the metal is too heavy hold
