my grandpa and grandma used to sleep in separate beds and they loved and adored each other till the last day. sleeping in one bed doesn’t guarantee perfect marriage. older people of older times had figured some things out I guess. plus I hate when someone takes over of my comforter and some parts of me are just left uncovered.
Lisa L my parents had a double, switched to twins, then king size was invented! They the downsized their house in their 60’s back to twins and they were married 62 yrs. you’re right, one bed/room does not guarantee a good marriage 👍🏻

I have to say all the actors and actresses did an amazing job, but Vanessa Kirby was my favorite. I love how she embodied the role of Princess Margaret.

That scene on the train with the hair was amazing. You could really see the chemistry between them. I think it was great to see the characters as husband and wife because that whole scene was a very Philip-ish situation. Gahhh! I don't know if I can live without Claire and Matt!!! They're so perfect as The Queen and the Duke!

suerafuls it's the episode with the Kennedys. Elizabeth for a new hairstyle. They're either on the way to somewhere or on the way back from somewhere on a train and he mentions her hair and they have this whole conversation about how he hates her hair. It's really funny.

Married 23 years, here. Separate beds are a marriage saver. No joke. Between snoring, long limbs etc. And, in the British Upper Classes it was the norm. You can always go on over, even for the whole night.

She isn't as well-known as he is; thus she can't ask for as much money as he can. Matt Smith is known worldwide as Doctor Who and was the lead of that show. Naturally he gets paid more.

I love the cast but I have to say this lady doing the interview did a great job. She throws hard questions in such a comfortable manner.
I’m gonna miss this cast so much! The new cast is gonna have to be spectacular to match the talent and chemistry of the old cast.
Just finished watching Season 2 and I have to say it definitely will not be the same without Claire Foy and Matt Smith. Those two absolutely made this series! Efforts should have been made to simply screen age them, as I am sure they could have accomplished. ☹️

I just discovered The Crown and promptly fell in love with Claire Foy and the rest of this clever cast. I hadn’t realized that they had to step aside to make way for a new cast. I hope to fall in love with them, but in the meantime, I am heartbroken. This cast’s performances were stellar as was everything else about The Crown, including Hans Zimmer’s compelling theme music.

@Veronique Ashlynn It's actually a distorted form of the word "malupit/malupet", a slang word meaning, "Bad Ass"or "tight" in the Filipino language. For example, when the queen jumped(supposedly) out of the helicopter during 2012 Olympics, that's petmalu. When When you see incredible tricks, or effects done or literally anything that leaves you in awe, you can use that word.
By far the best show on netflix no debate, excellent screenplay and the best of dialogues reminds me of the best parts of Game of thrones season 123and4

Looking back on this now, these 3 amazing and incredible actors MADE The Crown!!!! They were the original Queen, prince and sister princess and it skyrocketed their careers. Matt was just coming fresh off of Dr. Who and to be honest, I had no idea who Claire Foy and Venessa Kirby were and Ive been following British television all my life. Me mum is from New Zealand. And now 6-years later they are making movies and winning Golden Globes. It's so beautiful to watch the infancy of The Crown and where it all started!!! Remember people, always be humble from your beginnings and never forget who your real fans are. That's why I love following them!!!! 👑

I love the drama and all the actors and actresses are so good in all the different seasons. I repeated watching it all over again while waiting for the new season to start in Nov. Never feel bored watching it over and over again.

Just finishing the second season and the end of episode was very warm. Seeing Floy's face made me feel so safe like she's my real mother.. real queen . I've been heartbroken knowing all of them will no longer exist in the next season anymore :'( BTW i trust in Olivia Colman from her role in Murder on the orient express, she must make me into it as well i believe.
