      Do you have any recommendations on replacing the speakers themselves?
      If so, should I replace all speakers, or can I replace in pairs as desired?
      And finally, when replacing the speakers, can I just "plug and play" since the existing wiring is so new?

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andrewdiaz1631 You can replace in pairs, sure, but they won't be plug and play. For front and rear doors, you will need the Metra 72-7302 wiring harness adapters, and the Pac / AI HKSB110 Bracket adapters. Also if you have the factory Infinity sound system, you may also have to be conscientious of the factory ohm of those speakers.

    This is an Old post but I have to add. I have the 22 Tucson Premium Bose. Installing any Amp and or Subwoofer under the passenger seat would cause the Amp to Overheat as soon as the heater is turned on. For those of us in Southern states this really isn't an issue. But for those folks in Northern states this would create a problem. Also.. Video is Decent. I would like to add that Attempting to Send Power Wire through Wire Harness is very difficult in a Gasoline Model as the Battery placement makes it extremely difficult to manueaver around. For those of you who where concerned about Taping both channels... This is :MONO: AMP and therefore... no channels are needed you are only taping the speaker for mono. If you where attemping to install a "2 Channel AMP" then... you need to find another way.

    I can’t believe nobody has asked this…..Why do you even have to remove the B-pillar molding? Can’t you access and tap the wires from the bottom molding, which is already off? This would make it less daunting to take off the driver’s side door molding also, and complete the job the proper way, using all four channels to feed the amp. Am I correct in these assumptions? I just feel that I want to disassemble my 2024 Limited as little as possible to attempt this job. And using a Rockville sub is the way to go-unreal punch, ALL connections and adjustments on the same side (really convenient), and the 10” is under $150.

    I have a 2023 Hyundai Elantra hybrid "blue" model non Bose and I was wondering if you could give me advice.
    I want to add a JBL Basspro Hub also the back door speakers don't put out a lot of sound compared to the front and don't sound as good. I am thinking that the rear isn't a ported design but I don't understand why the rear volume is so low it's almost like I lose 70% of the sound when I channel to the rear.
    Is this normal for this car and if so how do you recommend I change it, 4 channel amp, 2 channel amp for the rear or add something. I was reading somewhere if you draw more then 20 amps it messes with the battery because it thinks there's a drain somewhere and shuts it off to combat that? since the JBL is rated for 30 amps and if you recommend an amp for the factory speakers that would put it well over that. is there something I need for that?

  • @TrenDMuzic

    12v is in the rear of the car so much easier to run wires.

    • @Cybrid98
      @Cybrid98 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      12v rear is using 22G Wire.. designed for 5amps... You cannot run a "normal" amplifier successfully thru 5amps. This would burn out the fuse quickly. If you are referring to using the 12v as a "Remote turn on" then yes.. this could work. However... bare in mind that Tapping a 12v doesn't necessarily mean you get Power on Accessory.

    • @TrenDMuzic
      @TrenDMuzic 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cybrid98 the actual 12V battery is in the back of the car that is what I’m referring to. Obviously all normal car electronics that do not require high voltage still require the standard 12V battery which once again is located in the rear of the vehicle.
