Folding screen monkeys is actually the best boss in souls history. You obviously can’t even begin to understand the cultural and intellectual ramifications of this beautifully crafted battle. If you don’t agree then obviously your smaller brain cannot wrap itself around the simple puzzle mechanics of this hack and slash boss extravaganza.
O&S phase 1 is so trash. Phase 2 is good. I don't understand how people call that a good gank fight. It just shows FS has never made a good gank fight except Demon Princes from ds3's dlc.
That Sekiro ogre is SO fucking irritating. He would be so bad if he was a random boss about halfway through the game or a mob enemy close to end.... but he's near the beginning where the game is still teaching you the basics of Sekiro and all of a sudden this guy comes to completely ignore that go back to DS2

I had to stop I was somewhat agreeing with you seeing caper demon on there. Fire giant? Ornstein and Smough the worst? no they are by far one of the best fights in dark souls 1 they challenge the player they are a difficulty spike that. Also they have one of the best duo mechanics in the who series. You kill Ornstein you get omega smough you kill Smough you get omega ornstein. They complemented each other. Then you put Godskin dou they still complement each other? I get it they are difficult bosses but the worst come on now.

If you’re going to include gimmick fights it should’ve been Ancient Wyvern. The monkeys aren’t great, but the Wyvern is a dumpster fire. Run by a bunch of horrible enemies up to a platform. Then you have to plunge attack it, and if you don’t know to be careful you’ll miss and have to start all over again.
Chained Ogre is such a random inclusion. Like one it’s a mini-boss and shouldn’t be eligible in the first place, and two it’s one of the better mini-bosses in Sekiro??
Half light spear of the church yore is soooooo annoying but the gimmick that other players can become the boss was the only thing about it that made it “interesting”

Gwyn has some attacks that can’t be parried plus Gehrman and Champion Gundyr are parry spammable too. (Not saying Gwyn is a top tier boss or anything, the run back is kinda bad too but you can spam to beat all bosses in these games, DS3 often resorts to r1 spamming then the occasional forward roll to dodge almost any attack then keep on r1 spamming.)

i agree on most of these but fire giant is a good boss cos it switches up what ur used to, giving u a easy to dodge boss with a massive health pool and massive damage, and it just switches up the usual flow of the game. chained ogre is also a beautiful boss, and its placement is what makes it so good. it teaches you a lotta shit. and then capra demon. capra demon is a great great great boss. you cant worry on a single enemy when you have multiple ones doing chip damage on you. it educates you perfectly. other than that great takes

Elden Ring field bosses aren't even bad for most of the time, just annoying to fight when there's a lot of them reused across the map. The only genuinely bad ones that I can think of are death rite birds, Borealis, Ekzykes, Wormface, lazy duo bosses. Anyways, they're insignificant enough so nobody cares about them
I hate the black knife assassin in the thing where you have to light the fires to unlock the map to malenia, i dread it everytime lol. It's not a boss I know but damn.

I would’ve agreed with you on the charge attack being bs, but when I fought Gaius in my most recent playthrough, I was able to dodge that move very consistently. And I was medium rolling too. I will say that if you’re still having trouble, the charge attack is exponentially easier to dodge if you’re light rolling.

Whenever I play through the game I find myself excited to fight him right after defeating Morgott even if I don't burn the Erdtree right there I just want to see how my build performs in that fight. I'd replace him with Fortissax or Senessax I think.

even though i have a deep hatred over the entirety of elden ring, i have to say dancer of bread valley is a little past elden ring's base game, shes always a problem in most of my challenge runs and almost always takes 2 tries (shes as bad as sote's bosses) (also not rage bait)

I’ll take damage whenever he slams his claw into the ground even if I’m nowhere near it because the hitboxes suck. Half the time it’s impossible to tell if he’s gonna nuke the arena because I’m trying to attack his leg. And the laser attack is borderline impossible to dodge.

He’s constantly moving it away and almost all of my swings at his head would whiff. Besides they made it so that his torn off leg takes more damage, so theres definitely some incentive to attack it
@@Munchrr789 uhh no. His head is not hard to hit at all if you can actually dodge his attacks and wait for his very clear openings. Also his broken leg does not take bonus damage. I’ve tested it myself and it takes the same amount of damage as anywhere else on his body that’s not his head. If the leg was a weak point, then you’d be able to lock on to it. But you can’t. His head is all you can lock on to, because his head is the only weak point. Stop it with the self-reporting already.

The King Allant fight is symbolically meaningful and cool. It blows my mind that people don’t realize that the anti-climax is the intentional point.

Well, I see someone else commented it already ( no surprise lol ) but yeah, Lud and Zallen. It's like The Godskins but worse. Same Boss you've fought before ( I do like Aava btw ) but 2 of them, at the end of a very annoying run across the North Pole with Santa's Reindeer on you like glue 🏇🥶

even though i have a deep hatred over the entirety of elden ring, i have to say dancer of bread valley is a little past elden ring's base game, shes always a problem in most of my challenge runs and almost always takes 2 tries (shes as bad as sote's bosses) (also not rage bait)

@@miragebarrage9748 all it has going for it is that it looks cool the gameplay mechanics suck. I’ll take damage whenever he slams his claw into the ground even if I’m nowhere near it because the hitboxes suck. Half the time it’s impossible to tell if he’s gonna nuke the arena because I’m trying to attack his leg. And the laser attack is borderline impossible to dodge.

You’re supposed to attack his head. Every single one of his moves leaves a clear opening for you to hit his head which is his weak point. My god, you just self-reported yourself sooo hard with this comment 😂
@@miragebarrage9748 his head is impossible to hit too if you don’t have a ranged option or a long enough weapon, which is what happened to me. He’s constantly moving it away and almost all of my swings at his head would whiff. Besides they made it so that his torn off leg takes more damage, so theres definitely some incentive to attack it
@@Munchrr789 uhh no. His head is not hard to hit at all if you can actually dodge his attacks and wait for his very clear openings. Also his broken leg does not take bonus damage. I’ve tested it myself and it takes the same amount of damage as anywhere else on his body that’s not his head. If the leg was a weak point, then you’d be able to lock on to it. But you can’t. His head is all you can lock on to, because his head is the only weak point. Stop it with the self-reporting already.
