That's a mission you have taken on, glad you managed to save it. I had 2 x 159 Sportswagen, still the best looking car on the road and a great car to live with even after 14 years...
Sehr sehr gute Arbeit, it is really a pleasure to see with what kind of passion you work on your alfas, perfect. I love this kind of work and I often see your videos on your channel. Keep going on like this, a great fan from germany 👍👍🙋
The job you're doing is an art, nowadays skills like yours are being replaced by stuff like "put it in the trash bin and get a new one". But it's beautiful to see things repaired! Keep up
I miss my 2.4 159, I had to get rid as there wasn't many garages locally to me who were wiling to work on it, a lot of garages seem only to be interested in quick mot's and Corsas/Fiestas. Now I don't need a car for work I might look into getting one again as they are lovely.
It's amazing how many beautiful cars Alfa has made. I'm quite happy with my 156, which is from what I hear a nicer car to drive, but one of these is on my bucket list.
I've had 3 156's, a 2.0ts and two 2.4jtd's and a brand new 159 1.9jtd as a company car. Although I loved the dramatic looks of the 159 the performance, handing and dashboard/central console of the 159 left me a little cold. If you could easily sway a 156 dash in theyy would be lovely but the handling and torque of the 2.4 156's is addictive.
I really really miss my 159 2.4 ti. Was belive it or not the most reliable car I've ever owned 10 years and 110k miles of nothing but ware and tare needed replacing
Keep the alfas alive! Well done. 🤩😍👍👍👍 Sold the same model like that because of some costs - dents and window broken. Now regretting when I see your video. 😬
Hi Neil, Looks very nice mate! Job done very well if you ask me! Looks stunning, and the TI are beauty's if you ask me. This is one 159 nicely salvaged by you! Keep up the great work!
Great job Neil, turned out lovely. Couple of questions though, as I have the same car in red. You mentioned turbo whistle, I’d be very interested in a video showing how to troubleshoot this issue as mine has always had a loud whistle since I’ve had it, 18 months, has plenty of boost and can’t hear any whooshing from split inter cooler hoses. Maybe there’s a common problem on these but would love more info. Also, is this car an insurance write off ?, if so, how does this affect values ?. Cheers for all your great Alfa content, I’ve learned so much from just watching your vids.
Love this restoration Neil. Could you do mine. 57 plate 2.4 ti auto. 78k miles. Needs some mechanicals and the paint bringing back to life. Just a dented rhs front wing.
HII . First I have to tell you e like your show very much. And then I wanted to ask you a question if I may. I have a 159 with 2.4 diesel 210 hp and I did the clutch new and now the pedal sometimes doesn't comes all the way up where should I look First the pedal or something else. Thanks
Why does the lacquer coating always come away from the red calipers? Nearly all Alfa's with red brake calipers suffer from this. Oh and amazing job by the way, well done!
What did you exactly do between 11:37 until 11:58? Where did you get the adjustments right? My bonnet seems to not line in correctly, it’s staying below from where it should
You almost always scratch the alloys when smashing them flat on the ground even with the face of it... You've done that lots of times and it hurts me every time. Can see those scratches at the end of the video when you put the stickers on.
"Me thinks you have an ever so slight ding in the bonnet, Sir!" Doing that roofline in an absolute minimal amount of layers would need the hands of a master. Mere mortals just have to persevere. Well done!

Good to see it being saved. Not many would take this job on, well done
Superb work, well done. Delighted to see it sold so quickly for you. I was having a shit day up to now but that made me smile.
Great job Neil, quality repair! The new owner has nothing to worry about.
You have done an amazing job. The paint is perfect, and you are more than an amateur painter.
Many thanks.
Lovely Jubbly, now that's a great save from the scrappers.
I think so too!

My pleasure

I thought you were quite brave taking it on, but you made it look too easy :)
What a beauty. You sir, you got golden hands

159 and the fiat coupe both looking great inspired me to sort out a few blemishes on my gt

Couldn't agree more!

Nice job 👍🏻 handsome car. I miss mine - 80k miles in three years with absolutely zero problems.
Good to hear!
Lovely job Neil. Beautiful car, wish I'd known it was coming up before I'd bought my generic VAG soulless sport tourer.
I really really miss my 159 2.4 ti.
Was belive it or not the most reliable car I've ever owned 10 years and 110k miles of nothing but ware and tare needed replacing
Nice job, auto looks nicer than so many Cookie cutter newer autos.
Keep the alfas alive! Well done. 🤩😍👍👍👍 Sold the same model like that because of some costs - dents and window broken. Now regretting when I see your video. 😬
Bellissimo VIDEO..OTTIMO LAVORO. Alfa Romeo 159 auto fantastica
Hat's off to you. What a fantastic job. Nice looking Alfa there.
First class job there. The new owner will have nothing to worry about.
This is so inspiring, big cheers from Australia 👍👍👍
Awesome! Thank you!

Incredible job

Great job Neil, as always.
Nice job! I do like the 159 Sportwagon (although I prefer a 156!) looks good though!
Neil, that would be a right off if not for your skill and dedication Sir!
Wow, what an incredibly nice job! 👍🏻🚘🇮🇹
159 Sportwagon TI is a great looking car

Hi what is the difference between the Ti to the other versions ? Is it the top of the range in the 159 saloon
Nice looking Estate car
nice dog , i love dogs
What were you grinding/cutting off when removing wheel wing
HII .

thanks its the heat.
Fantastic job. I’d love a 159 ti on my drive but having the GTA is enough on the wallet and the wife would go beserk🤯🤣
Good job and good video
great video
Thanks!
Cracking job. I’d love to have your knowledge as I’d be v apprehensive taking on an old Alfa. 👍
Thanks 👍
What did you exactly do between 11:37 until 11:58? Where did you get the adjustments right? My bonnet seems to not line in correctly, it’s staying below from where it should
Just adjusting the 13mm bolts 2 on each side
so presumably there was no airbag deployment, looks like something reversed into it..or over the bonnet
no airbag damage at all.
I m subscribed.. Only saw the title
awesome
Good Job!!!!
Thanks!
In the thumbnail I thought the bonnet was covered in suds and was being washed
Nice car and nice job, Neil! Nice to see your dog too, what's its name?
Brilliant
Damm good Job! !😀😍👍👍 my next alfa I think
You almost always scratch the alloys when smashing them flat on the ground even with the face of it... You've done that lots of times and it hurts me every time. Can see those scratches at the end of the video when you put the stickers on.
Yes never place them face down. I have to remind tyre centers that everytime
It looks amazing
"Me thinks you have an ever so slight ding in the bonnet, Sir!" Doing that roofline in an absolute minimal amount of layers would need the hands of a master. Mere mortals just have to persevere. Well done!
Arthur Tussick would have pulled it out more I thinks
Is this on sale now?
Clearcoat also applied?
of course.
The "ti" lettering on the fender is missing...
You didn't watch till the end did you lol
Did they ever make a 159 cloverleaf?
Nope.
Perfect 😎
what's the name of the new helper
After all your overheads, parts and labour are you actually making a healthy profit?
Didn't make a great deal on this one.
sorry you are right ;-)
How could that amount of work and parts have been financially viable??
PDR will sort out that bonnet.
👍😍 alfa159
Couldn't understand why they didn't sell more of these and the gt both stunning cars and better value than the overpriced German stuff
👍❤👍
Looking great Neil .👍
Great job 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
