I can remember making all these mistakes in the beginning. So I had to slow down and just have fun experimenting with rolling paper beads. And I tried to come up with some of my own ideas with the shape of the bead too. Thank you for the refresher tutorial. Love it. ❤ Have a great Day Zoe. Or night.
I would add one other thing. If you are making jewellery, make sure you have enough of the same type of bead. If you do a number of crafts as well, you can always find a purpous for a random bead, say, hanging it on a key ring cluster. If you are making a specific necklace, though, the chances are you won't be able to replicate what you did, so not having enough beads for your project is ahhhhhhhhhhh (or something like that). Glad I discovered your channel.
As an experiment I tried corrugated paper that I found which was colored and patterned. Worked great! A great video - loved that you gave solutions for each of the mistakes. Thanks for sharing this.
You are a great tutorial teacher. You have given many answers to my questions. I haven't been happy with my beads at all....ready to move on...but i am addicted to making the beads. Bless you....T.Y. 👍👏👏🌞
Thank you so much I really really appreciate and enjoyed watching and listening to you about the highs and lows of paper bead making. It’s really really helpful and useful too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Hi, I belong to your amazing group. I enjoyed watching your excellent tutorial. I also have a huge amount of nail polish from poundland lol. My favourite bead of yours is that beautiful layered tube bead. Thank you so much ❤
What do you call the tool in number 6 - rolling too tight. It looks like it accommodates different sizes of slotted winding pin. Love your tutorials! Thanks so much!
This is my go to roller and yes you are correct, it’s one roller handle but you get 4 different size rollers which you just pop in and out squeakerchimp.etsy.com/listing/1452188523
I always say give it a try, you never know. Might be fantastic. I still leaning towards the bead providing the structure and support as opposed to the glaze.
Wait a minute! Corn husk beads??!!! 😮😮😮🤯🤯🤯🤯 I have a lot of them ready to make tamales!!! Well now I know what to do with them after eating the tamale. That is of course after thoroughly washing them. Thanks so much for your video!!!
‘I wonder what if.’ Is a great way to learn new things!
@@marciabonk2533 glad you enjoyed it x
That was great. Do you have any tips on how to cut the paper?
You can’t beat a nice pair of long scissors. Take your time, it’s not a race and just enjoy the rhythm of cutting the paper.
I haven't made a single bead but I've watched at least 30 videos. Thank you for these important suggestions.
When the time is right you might x

Love your beads, what glaze do you use they are nice and shiny.
I use a polyacrylic varnish from Vallejo
Great tips!
Thank you so glad you found them helpful
Thank you.
You're welcome!
What about using thin paper, then coating the tiny bead in UV cured resin?
I always say give it a try, you never know. Might be fantastic. I still leaning towards the bead providing the structure and support as opposed to the glaze.

Dites je viens juste de faire 10 perles mais pourriez-vous me dire comment procéder aux crochets
I'm not sure what you mean by hook
I would like to but a beginners pack. How do I do this.
I sell rollers in my Etsy store - www.squeakerchimp.etsy.com
In my own experience, I prefer to use thin paper for my beads. My finish product looks more like a hard glass than rolled paper.
@@saintwannabe I prefer to use several layers of thin paper as it creates a harder bead. They are fun to make.
I just varnish my beads before glazing. that gives them strength and they can't be squished anymore
Interesting what are you using as a varnish and as a glaze? Often these two are the same thing
Sorry. That should be buy a beginners pack.
Hi, are you looking for a beginners kit?
@SqueakerChimp hello. Yes I am looking for beginners kit. Never done tatting but felt I would like to have a go after seeing your tutorial.
