    Today we're recording a podcast with Stacey Harkey former cast member of Studio C and co-founder of JK Studios. We're talking to him about his experiences with racism as a black man. What questions would you like us to ask Stacey? We love your suggestions!

    I love Chris and SBSK, my uncle was in a car accident and suffered a brain injury when he was 16. He has some difficulties eating/walking/talking, and I think its great for kids to know that some people are just different and some people have difficulties doing certain activities that we may be able to do with no problem. I think growing up with someone with a TBI really made me more aware of other people’s feelings. SBSK is definitely a great way to expose kids to people who may be different than them and realize although they may talk or look different, they are all human just like us but just communicate things in the way that works for them. Thank you for doing this podcast and thank you Chris for creating SBSK!!!

    I have this friend. And he’s in a grade older than me. He is in a wheelchair and I have never thought bad about being friends with someone in a wheelchair. He is a very good person and he’s always there for people. He was there so much He became like a big brother. He always calls me little sister 🙃 I don’t think much people really understand how amazing people can be even if they have disabilities. People should be welcomed and never judged.

    These podcasts are absolutely incredible and inspirational. This world is a better place because of these people you’re interviewing and because of your family. Thank you so much for sharing your life and these stories. This podcast brought a tears to my eyes. My brother-in-law has CP with brain damage and has limited communication abilities but I have never met a more friendly, happy person. He has taught me so much over the short amount of time that I’ve known him and I wish everyone had the opportunity to experience him and all of his joy ❤️

    People with disability should need a person like him becoz right now every or most person has depression that has a disability becoz they think that they are not meant to be here,why did this happen to me. But for me as I'd thought to give an advice so to all the people who is reading this is that you are amazing and always comfort them listen to them and make them feel that they are meant to be here...
    Always remember is that you are here becoz God has plans for you and have faith and trust him and your parents any many people love you around the world
    Always remember the only way we can get through this virus is that we should help as we not just me

    When Caleb talked about his celiac disease, it reminded me of my science class. It was kind of like a story where we were doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with a patient. When the assignment came where we were eliminating two diseases that she didn’t have I saw celiac disease as one of options and it made me think of Caleb. In the two days ago we wrapped up the unit and the girl has celiac disease and her doctor prescribed her a gluten-free diet. I felt like I already knew more about what is was because of you guys. Thank you so much!

    This is so good. Just because some people have issues, doesn’t mean that they aren’t worth anything. My cousin Sophia is 5 and she has Down syndrome and it’s hard, but she is so smart for being different and I love her no matter what🙂

  • @SrslyBored1
    @SrslyBored1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    My mum has epilepsy. She was dianosed when I was about Calbe's age and I remember being very confused as we had to transition to it. We had to learn how to look after our parent, and had to help out extra while she worked out which medication was right and waited for a few months to get her licence back (adults diagnosed with epilepsy cannot drive until they prove they will not have seizures behind the wheel). My sister also has type 1 diabeties and we found out these two things within a year of each other.
    You get through it, and you grow stronger from it. Stay strong Caleb and everyone else out there with surprise challenges in their lives

    This podcast was a really great idea because it helped lots of people watching learn and also it makes your kids really mature and independent and their learning too :). It makes me know that even though someone looks different from you or you don't normally see someone like them, they can turn out to be really sweet :) and I wish I could be more like these amazing people. I hope everyone is safe and I really am happy that people are helped by amazing people like Chris! I wish people could really see the world like Chris and know that people who look different are really sweet and are amazing. I am grateful for every person in the world. Some people are greedy, nice,smart,nerdy, mean. But everyone has a different personality and deep down they are a good person and are a big impact to the world :) :D

    We are all different and equal in the eyes of God. These differences allow us to identify one another. We can still have values dreams and goals, sharing thoughts, feelings and personal skills amongst one another. This allows the world to connect together and be able to express, empathize, and to achieve no matter who you are. If everyone was the same the world would be a boring place so please treat on another equally as human beings and remember we are all a part of something bigger. Equality and understanding is important no matter your disability, empathy, race, background, personality, religion, or country. We are all equal in the eyes of God. Please, please do not discriminate people’s differences, they are different in order to one another. Thank You!

    Man Caleb is so so right I suffer from anxiety and it is not fun but you just gotta think that ya ok you may feel anxiety but ya sure some people have it bad but it's all good because you can help that but people like this "some" you can't fix that so I'm so thankful that I don't have it as bad.
