  • Today my son and I test the Stevens Model 320 Security 12 gauge pump shotgun. Is it really worth two hundred bucks? We shoot slugs, buckshot and birdshot at various targets and blow the crap out of them to find out.

I live in Idaho now. But me and the wife frequently stay with family in Washington. With the new laws passed there, I cannot legally transport any of my current firearms into Washington state. The Stevens 320 is made in China in a Chinese Communist Party factory. The factory is relatively new and the guns are decent quality at the price point. But I’ll have to pass on buying. But that’s my opinion, YMMV. For anybody interested they seem to be popping on gun sites for 250 ish.

The rotary bolt on the 320s is outstanding as well and dual slide bars.

I added a Choate 1 round mag extension and sling swivel mag clamp for around 50 bucks turning it into a full magazine "riot" type shotgun . I've shot it quite a bit and never had any problems with it, I think they are a great shotgun for the money. Cheers!

Yea what mixup said get a maverick in 20 gauge they make the stevens 320 in 20 gauge also but haven't seen any for awhile or look at a used remington 870 wingmaster or look at a used mossberg 500 or maverick 88 in 20 gauge you can peovaky find one for a decent price. I love my maverick 88 got it in 2018 for 120 bucks at a local pawn shop I have over 3000 shells through mine without a single issue it's so smooth as well plus it doesn't kick to bad and even of it does you could always buy a limb saver recoil pad for it and that'll help alot. But you can find them new for 200 out the door I know Walmart keeps these in stock you should give them a look even if you get a hunting model you could always cut the barrel down to 18 inches but nothing past 18 inches otherwise you need a tax stamp from the atf

Anyway, as usual, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. You two seem to enjoy each other's company and seem to have a good time each time you are together. I wondered about "hominy", so I googled it and found that it is a bit like "samp" from South Africa. I didn't like samp one little bit, so chances of me liking hominy are equally poor.
This shotgun looks to be powerful. It made short work of everything you pointed it at. And it's a pretty decent price too. Thank you for showing us all these guns.
