BEGINNERS Spray Paint Art Tutorial - Episode 07 (Galaxy)

Hi guys! Thank you for watching this BEGINNERS Spray Paint Art Tutorial - Episode 07 (Galaxy). In this seventh video in the series, I'm going to be showing you how to make an easy but effective galaxy by layering different colours on top of each other and then using a carrier/grocery bag to peel the paint off to make the texture for the galaxy.
I'll also be showing you how to add multiple colours to your planets by blending three different colors together and adding black and white to them.
For each of the planets, I'll be making a different texture, so they look different from each other, and for the stars, I'll be using a straight edge and some card with a hole in it.
Below is the list of materials I have used.
- Something to spray paint on like Gloss card or a Canvas or whatever you are going to use to paint on.
- Black and White spray paint.
- Three different colours of spray paint up to you which ones you use (I'm using yellow, orange and red)
- Four different sized Lids to use as stencils to make your planets.
- Something to make the texture on your planets like Magazine paper, Carrier/Grocery bag, Newspaper, or whatever you are using to make the texture with.
- Carrier/Grocery bag to make the texture on the galaxy (You could use something else if you haven't got a Carrier/Grocery bag.
- Something to sign your work with
- A mask
- Some gloves
- A straight edge which could be a paint scrapper, piece of wood, or card
- A piece of card with a hole in the middle.

Hi mate just wondering, I it only the black that's a gloss or are they all gloss, I've had a look around my area and they have enamel gloss paint

@@JonBarberArt thanks mate, I started a few days ago, with trial and error but enjoying it, at the moment I'm only using gloss white and gloss black, other colours aren't gloss but have surprised myself with some of the results. Weather here is a bit cooler so paint is taking a long time to dry, but the rings around theplanets don't bother me t the moment as I'm still learning thank you for taking the time to make these tutorials
