Hi. I was thinking of purchasing an hp 840 elitebook laptop. But I'm torn between the g3 and the g4. Is there a significant upgrade on the g4 to justify it's higher price tag?
I am looking into this laptop. The i5, 8gb ram version. Is £500 a cheap price for the quality? Also will it run photoshop, and high demanding programs?

Did you try the USB type-c port? Wonder what else can the port be used for other than data transfer? Such as charging and/or connect external monitor?

i'm not a photoshop guy so i cannot tell, but i do think so.
It will run all Adobe programs

which one? Auditions works fine, Ableton also (but glitches when more tracks) - maybe ASIO would fix that problem

Could you explain the 3G modem to me please. I am going to buy this laptop but does that mean it will be slower on wireless?
i think it's actually 4g, however i always say 3g - it's a mobile-card modem (something you have in your smartphone)

does it have wwan card?
open device manager, go to network adapters and see there. What adapters do you have there?
