    For the new edge, we all mostly went with the tri ax shifter back in the day. MGW is good too

    Nice Mach 1...needs headers! I own an 03 Cobra (whipple 2.3 equipped). My second choice would be the Mach 1 (03-04). I love the shaker setup!

      He'll definitely pick up power across the powerband, especially up top with LTHs and a great tune. Not saying he'll gain 30 rwhp, but the gains will be noticeable at the strip.

      Every car is different. NA falls in the 15-20rwhp range. NA cars gain more from longtubes than boosted cars. My GT when it was NA gained 17rwhp 13rwtq from longtubes and retune. Tiny change for the cost of longtubes, labor, tune. With the Mach skipped all that little power stuff.

      @@wallyc7349 to each it's own I have a bolt on mach but as a master tech install isnt bad plus an engine is like a vacuum more it can bring in and out the better, plus stock manifolds are horrible in comparison in my opinion, hardly flow, with nitrous I definetly feel the deference even without it,

    • @wallyc7349
      @wallyc7349 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jacobgomez2682 stock manifolds have been behind 800rwhp 4v's. They are not bad at all in a lower power stock motor less than 600rwhp setup. I had longtubes ( got a pair of brand new ARH's with midpipe free from a raffle I won) on my GT and then added the blower. With boost the car didn't make anymore power than cars with similar mods, psi, but with factory manifolds. Have seen multiple cars react the same way. Forced induction motor does not need the benefit of scavenging like an NA motor. Just saying that longtubes are absolutely not necessary to make good boosted power. Especially when you can find complete used boost kits around $3500 that'll put you right at 500rwhp.

      You're focusing on na or boosted but there's alot more to it. They have alot of tech, ton of rpm and compression of 12:1 vs the Mach that was 10:1 it has more displacement and more aggressive cams because of the vct and if basically comes with mid length headers factory. It's a much better setup you can see where the 150 hp came from. The Mach had about 330 hp in stock form at the flywheel. Not what it was rated but what it ACTUALLY had.
