    I'm a 10 handicap and play the T200's . Best iron I have played in years. High ball flight and added some distance.

    Luke, I just love how much you enjoy it when you hit a good shot!
    I'm playing Titleist 620 MB in PW-8 iron, and then T150 (bent 1.5° strong) in 8-6 and T200 5-iron at 23° - and everything 1.5° flat. You may notice this set has two 8 irons, but with the T150s bent strong, the gapping worked out. The MB is 39° and the bent T150 is 34.5°.
    Even with the T150s at stronger lofts, they've got more than enough height and stopping power. And the T200 5-iron is a beast. I do wish it had the same matte finish that the T150s and T100s have, though. I'm a 4.4 hcp (as of today) and my swing speed is right at where yours is, but approach play is by far the weakest part of my game. I love the forgiveness of the T150s and T200, especially on lower face strikes. That tungsten is doing what it says on the tin. But the T150s are still very easy to flight down and work either way. The T200 really just wants to go dead straight a lot of the time, which also turns out to be exactly what I want it to do!

      Hi Daniel! Thanks for watching and sharing your own experiences with these irons especially in a combo set with the 620 MB’s too! Sounds like a great setup!
      As for me getting excited when I hit a good shot - when you play off 11 and you’re filming stuff to camera you spend most of the time just hoping to hit enough good shots to make the video worth publishing! Haha! I’m getting more comfortable on camera with every video though! All the best! 👍🏼

    Hey Luke, thanks for another great video. I was really surprised by how close those numbers were. I really thought the T200s would be quite a bit longer. The extra spin you generated with the T150s made them the winner in my books. Good luck on your pursuit to become a single digit golfer. Your swing is looking good and it looks like your clubhead speed is up 2-3 mph on the 7 iron ⛳💪

      Hi Gary! Yes I was surprised by how close they were too! I really like the T200 and the forgiveness does appeal but like you say that spin on the T150 is hard to ignore when I’m a low spin player! I think a lot of people will like one or both though! Thanks for the continued support the quest to single digits continues! More on course content to follow! Haha!

    I switched from a set of Ping game improvement irons into the T200's back in 2021 I believe. I was playing off 12 at the time. I recently made the switch to T100's P-7 & T150's 6-4.
    I play off 1.2 now & it's in large part due to the confidence I gained with the T200's. Even the 4 iron was easy to hit right from the beginning. Ppl will say they "they're loud" or they don't like the click sound the back makes (they are louder indoors but outside they're actually muted & in 3 years I never found the need to hit the ball with the back of the club 🙄) believe me, they're excellent clubs. Great video!

      Hi ScratchWhoShoots80s! Thanks for sharing your experiences with the T Range of irons! Sounds like they’ve been the perfect irons for you and you’ve done incredible to get down to 1.2! @ScratchWhoShoots80s หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @slingblade8963 I'm not sure what confused you but I started playing with Ping G30's until I reached around a 12. Then I switched to T200's & used those until I was around a 5. Now I play a combo set. The T200's were terrific mid-handicap clubs for me & I gained a lot of confidence in my ball striking with them. If you're still confused IDK what to tell you.

      @ScratchWhoShoots80s oh right. So the T200s helped bring it down and now the T150/T100 are helping refine. 👍

    Well done Luke. Sheils did a review of T200s and was really impressed as well. I'd be happy with either, though concerned the peak heights would be heavily impacted by wind. The AMT Red is a high launch shaft, but it's really the clubhead itself that has more of an impact on trajectory. Looking forward to next weeks video.

      Hi Petro! Yes that is a valid point - if you play links golf or an exposed golf course for example! For me personally I think I’d love the heights on these but totally get the counter! Great point! The T200’s were great! Thanks for your continued support! 👍🏼

    Hi Luke, great and very helpful video. It’s been 3 mos since shooting this so I’m wondering if you ended up getting a blended set and if so, what is the make up? I am very similar in hcp (10.3) and am looking to hit the ball higher. Good luck in getting to single digits. Thanks! Oz

    • @weekendtourpro
      @weekendtourpro  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi Martin! My current irons (Mizuno JPX923 Forged) are only a couple of years old so I plan to stick with them for a bit longer. So was filming this more to help golfers like yourself out! I think if I went for a set I’d probably stick to T200 through the bag… I think golf is hard enough (well at least it is for me!) so I’ll always choose to have any extra help/forgiveness I can! If I was a particularly good iron player I would combo maybe the 8-9-PW with T150 though… not sure if that helps? Thanks for the kind words and for watching my video! 👍🏼

      @@weekendtourpro Thanks again Luke. I appreciate your recommendation and was thinking the same. I will schedule a fitting, but, like you, I can use the forgiveness and probably wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the T150 short irons. Thanks again, love your videos.

    Really helpful video as I think that I would be very similar in swing speed and handicap. I have been playing of late with a lower handicap (+5 to +9 over 18 holes) so I am leaning on the T150 but may start the set at 6iron then look at different options from 5iron above.

      Hi grantleslie4298! Thanks for watching and glad the video helped! Yes you're better than me! I'm off 11 at the moment so can totally see why a set of T150's would appeal to you! Definitely consider T200 if you want a bit of help or even T350 in the 5 Iron and up if you want that extreme forgiveness that still blends in! All the best! Would love to hear what you go for!

    You hit the T 200 more consistently than the T 150. You have enough height and a good enough landing angle with either. The clubs are similar performing enough that go with the one that is more consistent, and likely more forgiving. Even if you improve and cut your handicap in half, I think the T200 will still work well for you.

    • @weekendtourpro
      @weekendtourpro  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Hi Luke, great review. As I’m a similar handicap to you, I’m curious as to what you think about this. Do you think the T150’s look a little intimidating at address due to their smaller size or do you think this is a non issue? I love how the T150’s look and feel. I just think that I might possibly lack confidence standing over them due to their size. Cheers

    • @weekendtourpro
      @weekendtourpro  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi Nicelad_! Thanks for watching and for your question! It’s a really good one as I’ve thought similar looking at certain irons before!
      I don’t think the smaller head of the T150 is as intimidating as I expected and there’s certainly more size to them than a blade, but I think if you’re asking yourself that question then my worry would be that as soon as you go through a phase where you’re not swinging it your best (like we all do!) then you don’t want that question to be in your head adding doubt! I certainly don’t think I’d feel it in the shorter clubs (8 iron - PW) but could easily imagine wanting the T200 6 iron on an off day!!! Maybe the combo set could give you the best of both worlds? Not sure if that helps at all? 👍🏼

    • @nicelad_
      @nicelad_ 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@weekendtourpro Cheers for the insight Luke, it’s very much appreciated. You’re essentially confirming what I was thinking. I did a fitting with the T150’s and the T200’s and there was very little drop off in the performance between them from when I hit the T150’s followed by the T200’s. This really surprised me as the T150 has a smaller footprint(in relative terms) and I thought my strikes based on the size of the T150 would lead to very inconsistent strikes but this was not the case. In my opinion, the T150’s feel much better as well. I discussed my concern with my fitter and said similarly to you that I’d be well suited to a blended set. I’m definitely going to 8i - GW in the T150 and 5i and 6i in the T200. I just have to decide on which 7 iron to go with. I’m leaning towards the T150. Thanks again Luke. I’m liked and subscribed. Keep up the great work 👍

    • @weekendtourpro
      @weekendtourpro  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @nicelad_ thank you that’s really kind! I think you’ve got it spot on for you! I also think part of golf is playing the clubs that make you smile and enjoy the game and that often allows you to override which one is marginally better etc. so if you prefer the T150’s then I’d go 7 iron in that too because the feeling you get when you flush one will be what makes you excited to play again and again! Would love to hear how you get on! All the best pal! 👍🏼

    I don’t mean to be that guy but your spin is way to low . If you’re playing hard fast greens , the ball won’t hold on .

    • @weekendtourpro
      @weekendtourpro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! I actually talk about this a lot in my videos! I’m naturally a low spin player which is why peak height and land angle are also so important to me! Worth remembering that you get 1,000rpm more on the grass vs a range mat so it’s never as bad on the course! When I play I have no issues holding greens 99% of the year but would definitely like the ball to stop a bit quicker with my 6 iron! Thanks for watching! Regardless I hope the video was useful for offering a comparison! 👍🏼

    • @EthanSimon-x9d
      @EthanSimon-x9d 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@weekendtourpro i totally understand what you’re saying. My experience trackman and GC quad shows me about a 500rpm difference. I guess it all depends on the course you play. At my home course I wouldn’t be holding many greens with that low spin . Great content, keep up the great work.

    • @weekendtourpro
      @weekendtourpro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @user-eh9vk1dd1f thank you! Also worth noting it’s a known issue with TM that it plays incredibly firm and fast so roll out is exaggerated and reflects hitting a fairway not green! So I think carry distance and then the roll out comparison between two clubs is more important than the exact numbers on TM. E.g if one rolls out 9 yards and the other 10 yards we know club one stops 10% quicker but in reality into a green it’s probably 4.5 yards and 5 yards in my on course testing! Really appreciate your reply! All the best pal!
