    Best explanation of the difference between the models i've seen. Thank you! Not even Titleist explains each models use case well.

    Just had a fitting with Titleist and I was suited to the t150s great irons and was totally surprised as I thought I’d be more suited to t350s or t200s but golf always has me guessing 😂. Great review David thank you

    Great review. I am an 11.2, went to a custom fitting and exactly what you suggested is what they fitted me for, T200 4-7 T150 8-GW. Also changed the lofts on the T200s to match the 150s. Saw this review after my fitting so funny you mentioned just that blend!

      The hollow-body construction allows designed to get the weight lower and further back in the heads, which boosts the MOI. That’s why you get more stability compared to the dual-cavity T•100S. Enjoy! - DD

    This a brilliant explanation of the construction. I couldn't find the mention on sub 10 stainless steel or 17/4 stainless anywhere on the Titleist website, so well done. Where did you get that info from?
    For players wondering about the workability of the T200's. I'm a +3 player and I moved to a full set of T200's because of the forgiveness and peak height. The higher ball flight makes more flags accessible and the offset is minimal ( I would say similar to Ping i230's) and I like a little offset anyway, but as far as workability I can work these as good as anything. Pretty easy to work.
    I just figure with the forgiveness if I can hit one more green a round then that means 1 more birdie opportunity and somedays that's the difference between winning and losing or making a cut or not.

      I am fortunate to get access to Titleist designers and engineers in the weeks and months before the drops, and during those conversations, I always ask about the materials used to make irons. Titleist has used SUP10 stainless steel for a few generations because it is so hard. Enjoy your new T200 irons. - DD

    Nice review. Thx. Going to go test some new irons next week for the first time in 23 years lol I have the old Maxfli Revolutions and have loved them. I saw all the brands today and was surprised how fat the 200s are. Ive always shyed away from irons that fat so I'm interested in trying them out vs the T150s. I'm not 18 anymore and don't play much so I may have to set the ego aside and see what more forgiveness feels like. Or I may be stubborn for another 10 years or so and get the 150s lol I'll probably end up doing a mix. The 200s in 4-6 and 150s 7-pw.

    This synopsis led me from the 23 150’s to the 23 200’s, but also rotator issue.
    They are closer to my 19 AP 2’s, except for the sound. It is a bit more clanky with less feel. Just wish they would have dumped the hubcap and shiny chrome..

    • @DavidDusek
      @DavidDusek  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Laura,
      The clubs are similar in design but fairly different in construction. The T150 is a solid-body iron with a pair of tungsten weights hidden inside a back cap area, while the P770 is a hollow-bodied offering that has foam inside each head. Both are better-player distance irons and have a compact blade length, but to my eyes, the T150 has a slightly thinner topline. You might see that differently. Not to avoid a THIS or THAT answer, but the only want to really know is go to a shop that has a launch monitor, hit both clubs and see what the numbers reveal with your swing. Thanks for the question and I hope that you'll subscribe to my channel. Some VERY interesting better-player distance irons coming very soon. - DD

      @@DavidDusekOK it's been 4 months. Some winter golf and now spring/early summer golf. I have to say, these irons were money well spent. The 3 iron is my favorite. I can stripe it about 220-225. I'm considering one of the t200 utility bent as low as possible for a driving iron. I can't hit a driver anyways . Lol
