After taking apart my commander mini a couple of times to do tire replacements and such its nice too see the additions they made to the build design in comparison to the commander mini of course.
Ronin put Ai-Rides website link in the description. I know he got a website or something You got this man and his shop in the video while promoting EWheels in the description.
Loved the assembly video. Fantastic shop. When you see all the pieces before assembly I feel a bit less critical about the price. I prefer the EB design and aesthetic over Begode.
Wow! Nice assembly video!! Is that a 4000 or 4500w wheel? Also, were you able to figure out what was causing the beeping? FW? Looking forward to your review.
Even by airshipped wheel standards this is in a lot of pieces because of the way this specific wheel is constructed. Since all of the accessories need to be fastened on both side of the packs they couldn't attach any components prior it makes sense. At best they could have screwed in the little bumpers I guess though.
@@Ronin_Ryder I am sure it will be nice, loads of people love the V11 and v13 but it seems like a step back but an increase in price over the mini, cutting corners where they can and making larger margins where they can....
People using a power drill/driver to screw and torque down steel bolts into aluminium never ceases to amuse. And wouldn't it be so much easier to run a bead of silicone on the cover instead? 🤔
there's always the internet expert who knows better and has nothing else to do but share condescending criticism 😅. I edited heavily the video because it would be too boring to show everything, he just used it to speed up then he used screwdrivers to tighten up.
@@Ronin_RyderClearly you guys are too clever to take advice, or use torque wrenches, or simplify sealant application. That's ok, you'll catch on eventually. PS It's probably worth doing tyre pressure before suspension. 🤪 And don't be so thin skinned ffs
Often times/if not every time the bolt was first inserted by hand and twisted a couple threads in. Then it was tightened down on the lowest setting possible - as Ronin said - to speed things up. We always hand tighten after. As for torque specs - good luck on finding torque specs for an Extreme Bull/Begode wheel. As for the silicone bead - it sat well where we did it, wasn’t hard at all and putting it on the cover would essentially put it on the inside of the cover and not where you need it to be sealing up - between the tray and the cover. If you have helpful - non assuming - advice in the future, please we are always open to feedback.
@@ai-rides I don't believe that you (as a rule) use a torque wrench after using the drill/driver. I saw lots of tools on your work bench, but a torque wrench was not one of them. As far as bolt torque settings go, it's not that hard to find an analogous application that can be applied here. Also, if you think laying a bead of sealant around wires, suspension end caps, in recesses, nooks and crannies is easier than applying it directly to the unencumbered, easy to access and manipulate flat contact surface of a removed cover, I don't know what to tell you. lol "If you have helpful - non assuming - advice in the future, please we are always open to feedback." No, you aren't really. 🤣
these "some assembly required" unboxings are rather educational, and more interesting than typical unboxings, thanks for sharing Ronin.
Thank you🙏
I’d prefer that all performance wheels come disassembled. QC is insufficient to trust any new EUC.
We need a shop like this in SoCal, there’s a lot riders who can benefit from it

Thanks for keeping it real and not leaving out the end
Always!
Thanks for this opening review.
Atm it’s one of the few videos on YT with unboxing this wheel.
Beautiful wheel indeed, the griffin looks good ! ✅🎩💪🏼
I looked a bit on the online shop.
Good prices.
Sadly no deliveries in Europe.
😕
Good luck guys, you making a Top Job for the community !
Ronin & Sam knocking it out of the ballpark! Excellent video Gentlemen! I'm looking forward to the ride review. Thanks for sharing!
Cool video! Looking forward to your review of the Griffin.
Nice to know the kickstand can be installed upside down if needed.😊

I enjoyed this build very much. Would like to see more thanks Ronin thanks Samuel ! The shop looks great! - See you soon
It requires a bit of a logistics to make tbh. Once in a while 😅.
Interesting and insightful, as always!
This place looks amazing!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Very good "unboxing", thank you for the video!
Thanks for watching!
They went with v13 suspension? What a strange choice. Glad to see you walking well Sam!
Thank you 🙏🏽
lets go Sam!!!!
nice video with Sam but the end
Congrats on hitting 4K buddy!
Thank you🙏🙏
So glad to see this video. Looking forward to the Griffin review
Nice 👊
Ronin or Sam please let us know if this wheel suspension can sustain stairs and jumping curbs or fulll send jumps
I would love to visit Sam's shop sometime. Thanks for making this video
Thanks for watching!
@@Ronin_RyderI have a crashed High Torque MSP Can I bring it to your shop to see if it can be salvaged?
That is not my shop :)
@@Ronin_Ryder 👍🏽
Art Deco pedals ? supercool.
I had thought I would be ordering one of these but the height of those battery boxes makes me think “no way”. Why are they so low.??
I kinda like the light protector… on the contrary the color of the plastic feels like it s high quality, shock resistant plastic

The shop is nice. Thank you for watching!
Can you measure the battery box bottom height and compare it to the ETmax?
I like the built in handle on the pedal. Easier to lift with more handles

4000wh for batch 1! Will come back with more feedback on the wheel later!
Nice shop! 👍

Yeah, Lego wheel. Oh well 😁
Good video! Thanks!

So the mini has hydraulic oil filled shocks but its predecessor the Griffin has cheap air shocks like the V11?!
So far it rides well. But too early to tell.

This wheel is not really a mini so far.
love that purple
It really gives the wheel its identity.
Hey Samuel 👋
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I guess if you want Quality Control done right you have to do it yourself.
We know what happened to Roger on the GT Pro Demo Wheel
Isn’t that kickstand flipped? Official photos had it facing down
You are correct! As always with extreme bull, some parts can be flipped.
It exists!!🎉😅
I would love to pay a little less for my wheel and get to assemble it myself
I thought the Griffin was gonna have a hydraulic suspension. The air suspension is really disappointing
Its not bad at all tbh, much better than coil. But i need to try it more...
