36:25 True! If you feel like using an alarm, finding a place to lock up your bike, renting a garage, changing breaking fluids on the rear and front breaks, if you love sliding your rear and crashing when it's raining, lubing your chain, changing a worn out sprocket, panic breaking on gravel and locking up your front wheel and crashing, wrenching, getting cold in your hands from a little wind, getting stuck offroad, looking for enough space to turn offroad, failing to start a hill climb mid-hill and so many more adventures, get a motorcycle! Yes, it's all of the things that happened to me.
I've had a motorcycle since 2018 and a wheel since 2021. For anything under 30 km distance, 100% I'll take the wheel. Actually... I'll always take the wheel unless it's raining extremely hard and I must go somewhere then I'll gear up and confront the elements on two wheels. Even my summer road trips, I used to ride 5000 km in 10 days, now I'm tempted to take my wheel and hop on a train. Can you clarify something you said at about 04:51 - "It has a suspension system with two different geometry options." I know there are two different spring rate options but I'm not sure what you meant by two geometry options. Do we have the option to change the connection points of the shock or replace it with a shock with different eye-to-eye dimension?
Just in case anyone else is wondering, I've figured out the answer to my question. The ET Max suspension linkage does in fact have two optional connection points at one end of the shock absorber. I've read where people refer to them as the "soft" option and the "stiff" option. It's still not clear how much of a difference it makes or which one is selected by default. When I get mine, I'll come back here and update if I think of it.
This wheel is overreporting speed by a whooping 18% maybe that's worth mentioning. It doesn't really have 130mm travel, the stanctions are 130mm but the linkage doesn't allow use of all of that and then you can also substract the rubber o-rings which in the end means around 105mm travel which is about 15mm more than a Lynx or Sherman S. 49kg is without pads so with pads you're looking at over 50kg for 3000Wh wheel.

There’s a learning curve to choosing a fast-charger. The PIDzoom is a great compromise but the loud fan makes it less desirable for me. I’m sure it will be improved soon. There are plenty of good quality used fast chargers in my area. If I could find a used RogerEUC charger, I’d buy two! And, if I had the cash, I’d buy 3 RogerChargers and 4 PIDzoomCharger Enhancer’(s) so I could manage my fleet of well loved and slightly haggard wheels. Used Alien ride chargers are also a great value. I’m still got the factory charger blues, but one can dream. Good luck, hope someone else can help you out.
Im interested to getting a electric vehicle that gets me to a to b and EUC is an option. So, i could get an Begode RS10 HT for cheap, its used, banged up a bit but rideable. Should i buy it? Its like really cheap and im definetly on a budget. My other options are a scooter that is able to go fast and long and even at winter because of the tires and full suspension. Then there would be an electic scooter(i guess?) but its on the higher end of the price. I would ride all of them but i am still thinking. I would ride it daily, to work and back and some more

Having said that I did a little trail riding with my friend’s S22 and really enjoyed it, but its main job would still be commuting. Dude, options are nice, but it’s got my mind gridlocked.
lynx w knobby tire is your best bet, lighter and playful. versatility would only come with a good off road tire with a very round profile, street tires are a pure joy on the street but never essential, and are just too unpredicatable offroad. ETmax is a high speed cruiser, and would be a bit wierd to add a knobby to it, knowing how heavy it is for offroading.
if you are street riding with lots of stop and go traffic I recommend the lynx. the lynx has better acceleration than the et max supposedly. If you are riding longs stretches of road with no stopping, the ET max will be better for you. The ET max does better at speed than the lynx, supposedly.

I think i just found my New wheel this would be an upgrade to my ex30
49 kg is insane, though. I weigh sub 70, I think, that's more than 2/3rds my body weight. 😅
I would ride it daily, to work and back and some more
I'm jealous af. The review is not sponsored, BUT you got this from Begode TO KEEP?😢 *congratz...*

Mr Wrongway I am asking for a friend, he wants to have a bit of fun in his old age. He lives near Toronto and wants your advice about which one of these to buy. He is hoping he can get one near Toronto. So can you please tell us if we can get one here. And also we need(he needs a list of the right gear to buy for saftey.
Willyou please let us know it would mean so much to us.
I have been following your channel for years and was going to by a two wheel scooter until I saw your video you made in Vancouver about how these are a lot more fun.
The main thing he is looking for is not range or speed but comfortable suspension and the best quality. Ty
Check out Eevee's. They have a storefront in Vancouver. You can go check out the wheels there and buy the wheels there. They can answer all your questions about safety gear there too. They sell safety gear there as well
@@JailbreakTips appreciate the help except that I'm in London Ontario so it's a wee bit of a shipping issue. I was hoping for something in Toronto or maybe Kitchener Waterloo area also still trying to figure out if I should go with two wheel scooters or this gizmo with one wheel?
These things have come such a long way in such a short period of time.
Yep!
wrong way the best EUC reviewer on YT hands down....any chance of falcon review?
Thanks! Falcon doesn’t have a smart BMS it’s a shame :/

I keep watching these videos and lynx videos trying to decide. I mainly ride on road, and would love to be able to keep up with traffic primarily.
@@JailbreakTips what I would give to be able to try these things out before dropping 4K
@@RayVi5ionsThis is a longshot, but have you tried looking for an EUC group local to your city or area? I found a local EUC riding group, and people have all sorts of wheels. Some people got the Lynx and ET max right away, so I was able to test ride their wheels during the ride. Might be worth a shot!
Adam, does Lynx balance the cells actively too?
I believe so!
Good review 👍
6k here in Canada, our $ sucks right now😢.
Cheers
😮
Hey buddy .....seriously...... suspension is so good but its not better than the lynx for offroad? will a off road tyre change that? surprised you didn't mention how low the battery boxes sit , id be nervous riding if off road with minimal ground clearance... what are you thoughts?
the main this is that this weighs like 30lbs more than the lynx and is slightly harder to access torque
haha...this video is class....i dont even want an ET max but the drums...loololol...i had to watch it all
Got into cycling????? ..CYCLING!!!! CYCLING!!!! SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. (awesome ET video)
I hope they make smaller et max..et mid or et min maybe
Begode extreme?
@@lewinwild i dont think extreme has the same quality

He/She/They did a decent job of reviewing this EUC.
😂 Yeah, for the glory of Ukraine

Am I the only one here who thinks the ET MAX is ugly? 😵💫😂
Didn't expect it to do so well. Thank you for your opinions and for also showing the less good things 👍🏻👍🏻
Getting up a 45 degree Incline is Crazy 🤣
the fact that it had issues doesnt sound good since the lynx didnt RIGHT ?
That is true! My lynx does rattle a little tho (suspension as in all veterans) and I can’t make it ride as well as much as I want it to.
@@mr_wrongway so what do you think the lynx is safer than the begode right ?
me watching this knowing I won't ever be able to afford one.
34:53 Nah, nothing with this level of performance, surron light bee is 4400 usd and it's shit.
Eride SS is that price and it's 🔥
First like fist comment 😂 Jumps in the UK soon ?
Yay! Welcome Andrew! I’m down :) perhaps with bike and EUC :)
@@mr_wrongwaywill bring all the landing ramps ! Just let me know when ! ⚡️💪

Yeaaaah took a while!
What's up with you and Lando comparing EUC's with motorcycles? Or Ebikes or bicycles? If we were interested in those things, we would go and watch videos about those. We come for EUC content because we want to ride EUC, because there is nothing that feels like riding an EUC.
It's a 39 min vid and he quite fairly mentioned other modes of transport with the pros and cons for about 2 mins right at the end, so whats the problem?
Put Shinko 244 on it pls, the thread on it is deeper than other options for this size it gets more grip on offroad hill climbs
I hit 108 kmph on mine gps speed. (67 mph for those of you in usa.)

I never liked the look of this wheel. However I acknowledge that I appear to be in the minority on this.
FWIW, I'd agree. I prefered the Master look a lot. But at least it doesn't have stupid sound boxes or LED strips.
