  • Using the correct engine oil for your car is an important part of routine maintenance for your car - it keeps the critical parts of your engine healthy by reducing friction, and ensures you run at peak performance. But are more expensive engine oils better or should you just stick with the same one that's been in your car since the start?

I disagree with the premise of the video. It is titled as a discussion on the importance of branded engine oil. Yet it is just unapologetically an advertising and sponsored video. Rather disappointed.

Not impt. Just use oem certified engine oil will do. Wont make a difference in singapore traffic, no track here. We hv enough accidents from those that thk they are M and AmG vehicles when they are actually driving peasant entry conti models.

A good engine will definetly helps the car to prolong its health. It is also very important to change your oil regularly. 👍

Tried every popular brand in the market like Castrol, Shell, Mobil, Valvoline, Liqui Moly, Motul, etc. The best Brand of engine oil to me is Amsoil & Penrite, can't beat these 2 brand product. Service your car every 10k KM or 5K miles without fail no matter what brand you use.

Just do research on the particular engine oil. The base stock, the viscosity at various temp, the additive such as TBN… They all contribute to oil performance. Even for the ‘full synthetic’ range there are true group 4/5 synthetic and group 3 ‘fake’ synthetic, which is technically mineral.

you should have talked about more technical aspects of the oil and how it performs compared to your other available oils i.e Motul 8100 EFE, X clean +, etc. This video was not informative at all and i'm not convinced to make a purchase
