    Some Questions for Ashley
    1. How should the world be expecting continuity of US policy. Looks like a 4 year term for POTUS swings policy. Classic examples are Iran deal, climate change. These make US look very fickle.

Of course they are looking after their own interests and still want to be acknowledged/honoured as world leaders. . . . Very interesting. . . . .

A reminder to India: once COVID crisis get some control, respectable media and civil society will go back highlighting treatment of Muslims and Kashmiris in India. I already saw a Sign in a demonstration a few months ago “Muslims Life Matter in India Too” in line with “Black Lives Matter “ in USA .

ITS MATTER, can we allow any leader come and do that? Be diplomatic or be honest?

    You have to play on ypur strength... so india should become more strong on economy and defence

    • @aadi2456
      @aadi2456 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      India needs to future proof its Economy by leveraging on its two most visible strengths -- Agricultural sector & people. And its failing in both areas.
      One key reason is the Education system. Its geared towards Urban jobs so promotes migration out of rural areas. That impacts agricultural sector. Plus instead of building an Agriculture ecosystem in rural areas, all that successive govts have done is dole out freebies/ compensation. How difficult can it be to build rural co-operatives like Amul or like what China has? Or build food processing units in rural areas ?
      Defence etc are just essential add on to the country. But if the economy is not resilient & strong , such add ons can only be a high cost liability

    India will be very important in future US Politics under Biden-Harris administration . But Modi Govt. may pay some price to organize " Howdy Modi " & " Namaste Trump " to please & support Donald Trump from 20th of January 2021 as the new Govt will ease up with China & Iran , put pressure on India regarding NRC, Citizenship Amendment & Kashmir issues . Biden & Harris are fully aware of Modi's Fondness of Trump.

    Dirr, noth off yoouu srebraains having a great vision and experience about the global changes and required adjustments of countries. Sir, cant you make an easy solution for our great country ,India. Each government has only one agenda gor Indian public, pakistan Pakistani government, Pakistani politician Pakistan army and Pakistan existence. Is pakistan a super power, is pakistan 10 times a greater country than India, is our 80 billion dollars annual defence budget is for pakistan destruction.????
    Who will look after for those 800 million Indian people living below the poverty line. Why we are struck up in kashmir for the last 73 years.
    What happened to Pakistan after losing half the country now called as Bangla Dash?? What did we gain when Bangla Dash came to existence. It was Bhutto who said udhr tum idher hm after 1970 election of Pakistan. Why are we clinging to Kashmir as an international disgrace by our heinous military operations against the people not willing to be with India.
    Cant we have a simple life way for India. Why cant we join the CPEC a global changer project instead of bleeding our troops and public for a useless and unknown objective . Within 5 months moodi G has spent 30 billion dollars on weapons. A safe way for kick backs. All countries selling weapons happily give 9 to 13 percent commission. Don't we have some ppl in our country to stop this black money gains by moodi g for winning all elections and filling pockets of his group.
    I wish if you could create a lobby and kill this India for ever in turmoils to b a good and peace loving neighbour for all and the known, sone ki charia of mughal days. Thanks

    It makes really no difference who is the White House as India is no longer any kind of strategic power where the States is concerned. The U. S. A. will only do what suits their needs no more no less. They have practised this for years.

    • @gurusastropalmistry2214

      We must normalise our relations with China. India cannot defend against Chinese aggression for long. We have economic issues, deficient military and no dependable allies other than Israel, France and to some extent Russia.
      China Pak nexus will fade away if India shows genuine engagement with China. Not lowering our guard but not escalating the conflict beyond our present capacity.

    • @gurusastropalmistry2214
      @gurusastropalmistry2214 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kamran Ali True. But the issue is the level of Jingoism and chest thumping thats already propped up in our country by our politicians... it is hard to manage.
      China US talks, if at all they start will pave way for India to get back on track and become a normal country.
      We just need to come back to Normal living conditions. No hype, no hysteria, no gdp surges, no big announcements.. just work quietly..maintain social harmony.. India has amazing manpower that can propels its growth.. we need investments.. only China has that kind of money. Hope we get our rythm back

    • @gurusastropalmistry2214
      @gurusastropalmistry2214 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kamran Ali I also dont wish bad for Pakistan, honestly. If they get rid of the Army proxies and have genuine rulers, it ll do more benefit than harm to us. A stable pakistan under a REAL democracy is in our interests. We can trade at ease with minimum transport costs and thereby engage the stakeholders in an economical bond. Social unrest in Pakistan will have negative effects in India exactly like East Pakistan. We need to grow economically.. whether Modi podi or godi is at power. If money circulates, jobs are plenty, work is available then all these riots, dharnas, cheap politics will vanish in no time. Real issues will then be discussed

    Not necessarily, Japan had similar dilemma, but they chose the society over economy.
    They were willing to not disturb their harmony for commerce and pure GDP.
    because otherwise it never ends well, there is no peacefully transation.
    And if USA, a country which secures the world through it's military and commerce, might face internal instability that can be easily taken advantage of by China, will not end good for the rest of the free world.

    • @shirishag75able
      @shirishag75able 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you haven't been really looking at Japan. Last few years, there has been quite a bit of change from before. www.visasjapan.com/new-japan-immigration-policies-2020/ They know and understand now that if they don't have relaxed immigration policies Japan cannot survive.

    • @shirishag75able
      @shirishag75able 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Manish_Kumar_Singh this has been in works for number of years. The problem for the Japanese are many, right from the genetic defects due to nuclear bombs, yes even the children and grandchildren are suffering, see www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2020/10/24/national/dna-analysis-genetic-impact-japan-atomic-bomb-victims/
      Also Japanese people like people in most advanced countries marry late and don't have many children, even though the Japanese Govt. tried many things including giving money to induce more children and marriages but that hasn't given the results they expected.
      japantoday.com/category/national/japan-newlyweds-can-receive-up-to-600-000-yen-to-start-new-life
      also see www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2019-07-25/desperate-for-workers-aging-japan-turns-to-robots-for-healthcare
      So a combination of circumstances are making them desperate to have people from low-income countries who can come to Japan. Yes, the immigration policy is stricter than in U.S. or other western countries but part of that is also due to Japan's own unique history.
